A smarter hyper-connected world means everybody is connected into internet in a smarter way. This paper is pointing to one aspect of lifestyle in a big city community, that is the parking system. Finding a parking lot in a crowded day in a public building such as a mall or supermall is difficult. It will be convenient if one can reserve a parking slot before arriving in that building. This service is like reserving a room in a hotel. This paper elaborates the work on the reservation-based parking system, and focuses on the design of the backend system that is created by implementing service oriented architecture. The architecture is implemented in a private cloud based on OpenStack infrastructure. This work also aims at an elastic system, i.e., a system that can be resized according to the needs. We explain the progress of creating this backend system.

Information leak has been increasing, which imposes a great burden on IT business. Software protection and trusted computing are promising technologies to cope with malicious or illegal access to mission-critical servers. Code obfuscation and encryption are important techniques for software protection. In this paper, we present an obfuscated decipher routine analysis using theorem prover. For detecting parameters of decipher routine, we apply equality substitution techniques called paramodulation and demodulation. Besides, we apply look-ahead strategies to speed up our analysis. Experimental result shows that FoL theorem prover works well for analyzing obfuscated decipher routine, particularly detecting parameters. Theorem prover is effective tool for enhancing information protection.

The perception and transportation of soft objects are critical tasks in daily life, and recent sensor advancements enable robots to safely perform these tasks in human-shared environments. This study advances elastic linear object transportation by introducing a collaborative framework where a human leads, providing task-specific instructions to guide the robot. Unlike conventional methods focused on fixed object manipulation, our approach dynamically controls and converges feature points of the elastic object into desired configurations during transportation. We developed an online model estimation technique using a least-squares optimization algorithm, with an exponential forgetting mechanism to adaptively update the model under disturbances from sensors and human interaction. Validated in experiments with a 6-DOF robot and depth camera, our method demonstrated robustness across varied scenarios, achieving faster convergence and reduced positional fluctuation compared to conventional gradient descent approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to meet the diverse needs of 5G intelligent applications, Federated Learning (FL) based on collaborative training across multiple devices can ensure data privacy while increasing the computational load for local model updates. On the other hand, Split Learning (SL), when properly implemented with model splitting, can adapt to the computing and transmission capabilities of different devices. This paper focuses on a Semi-decentralized Hybrid Federated Split Learning (SD-HFSL) framework that combines the advantages of FL and SL by breaking away from the limitations of a single central server and allowing shared split models to be aggregated among multiple edge servers. To maximize long-term training efficiency, we propose an online optimization problem that includes local model splitting and device association based on evaluated convergence performance. We also introduce a context-aware online training algorithm based on Contextual Multi-armed Bandit (CMAB) framework, where edge servers can observe context information at device sites for latency estimation and perform iterative optimization based on evaluated information in different contexts. Our experiments with multiple neural network models demonstrate significantly superior performance compared to other benchmarks. © 2024 IEEE.

As the interests of broadcasting services in mobile networks are increased, the research of convergence services of broadcasting and communication has become popular. To support broadcasting services in cellular network smoothly, WiBro support the multicast and broadcast service (MBS). MBS is transmission method that base stations belong to same MBS zone transmit the data to all users who request broadcasting service. Although MBS could enhance the quality of service, there are some problems in MBS. In the edge of MBS zone, the SINR of mobile stations (MS) is very low yet. In this paper we suggest algorithm that mobile station with having above certain level of SINR retransmit the received signal to the degraded MSs immediately after receiving the signal. MS also retransmit interference parts of signal. The results show that the algorithm should enhance the quality of receiving environments.

Developing countries suffer from a lack of fixed and reliable infrastructure resulting in lack of Internet connectivity, particularly in the rural areas. In this paper we have addressed the challenge of providing the free education to millions of illiterate children living in remote hamlets of poverty stricken villages in the north of Iraq. The basic fundamental right of humanity is education, so different organization cooperates with governments to deliver the education for everyone in world that would lead to literacy for all. We hope that proposed work would help children in different place(s) of the world to get education especially in places where the communication service is not available either due to the environmental factors like the poor connectivity due to fading or attenuation or poor topographical terrain like in hilly area. In order to overcome these obstacles a DTN based education system is proposed which consumes less resource but delivers high throughput. This mobile based efficient education system comes with new approach of delay tolerant network that possess the capability to operate in different environments. Our proposed Mobile Education System adopts a new protocol LTPCL "The Licklider Transmission Protocol convergence layer" that operate with DTN approach to solve education problems implemented by MANET in earlier time. When the internet cannot operate in heterogeneous environments, Delay Tolerant Networking (DTN) is promising network architecture for heterogeneous Environments if any disconnection occurring between the source and the destination the in-between nodes cannot store the packet and forward it after reconnecting. The DTN approach can provide the (store-carry-forward) network because in DTN approaches there are nodes which have memory buffer. © 2016 ACM.

In order to solve the NP hard problem of TSP problem, this paper proposes the C-N-GA (Christofides Algorithm& Nearby Measures & Genetic Algorithm) algorithm that combines the Christofides algorithm and Near Measures. This algorithm can provide better gene initialization and real-time evaluation of the quality of exchanged genes using Nearby Measures through the Christofides algorithm, improving the effectiveness of fast convergence. By conducting experiments on six TSPLIB datasets of different scales, it has been proven that under the same number of iterations, the C-N-GA algorithm has faster convergence and better accuracy compared to classical algorithms, and can obtain better global solutions.

Bundle adjustment plays an significant role in SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping), which is utilized in both front-end visual odometry and global back-end optimization. In many SLAM systems, bundle adjustment is employed to estimate the location of 3D landmarks and 6 DOF camera pose. However, as the dimension of the optimization variable increases, bundle adjustment consumes more and more time in SLAM, mainly in the iterative process. In this paper, an improved algorithm for this large scale bundle adjustment problem has been proposed. Firstly, according to the pose consensus, the classic algorithm ADMM (alternating direction method of multipliers) is introduced into the bundle adjustment problem. Secondly, for the non-convex optimization problem, the sub problem optimization method is introduced, and convergence and stopping criteria of the algorithm are discussed. Finally, the semi-dense direct method visual odometry for verification is implemented, and the experiments prove that the improved bundle adjustment algorithm has a speed advantage and can be applied to BAL (bundle adjustment in the large) problem. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This Days networks are growing rapidly and managing this networks becomes harder too. A similar case can be seen in the leader election area. leader election is the process of designating a single process as the organizer of some task distributed among several nodes. First we discussed about primary leader election algorithms (bully and ring) and their improvements then considering some assumptions we have proposed two new schemes and discussed about some aspects of *** proposed Sun(n) and Divided(n) algorithms that can be seen as a tradeoff between bully and ring algorithms. Note that if proposed algorithms didn't work then the original algorithm will be done. That is this algorisms are optionally and just try to reduce latency in the vast networks. In general our paper provide a srvey and a good vision af designing leader election algorithms.

With the rapid development of Internet technology and the continuous explosive growth of network traffic, Traffic Engineering (TE), as a viable method for optimizing network traffic distribution and improving network performance, attracts widespread attention from both industry and academia. Software Defined Networks (SDN), which decouples the data plane and the control plane, realizes a flexible routing and improves the TE performance. Existing TE approaches in SDN mainly utilize Reinforcement Learning (RL) methods to learn the mapping relationship between network traffic and routing policies. However, due to the continuous expansion of network size and dynamic changes in traffic, the enlargement of traffic state space hinders RL from converging to the optimal routing policy, leading to a decline in network performance. To address these issues, this paper presents a TE method based on unsupervised contrastive representation and RL. This method first shrinks the original traffic state space by efficiently extracting traffic features through Contrastive Learning (CL), aiding quick convergence of RL. It then uses RL to directly learn the mapping from traffic features to traffic splitting policies. Finally, through numerous experiments on real network traffic and topology, it demonstrates that the proposed TE method can effectively achieve load balancing of network traffic under complex and volatile dynamic traffic demands, thereby enhancing network performance. © 2024 IEEE.
