Securing our data is critical in today's digital environment. This study investigates the possible influence of quantum computers on data security. Research has been initiated by learning about quantum computers and their distinct qualities. These computers, which are driven by quantum bits (qubits), can do numerous jobs at the same time, but they also confront unique problems. The RSA Algorithm has been proposed here which is a key component of modern encryption. To protect our data from normal computers, one can use huge prime *** quest then takes to Shor's Algorithm, a quantum innovation designed to decipher complicated codes effectively. We explain how it works and what it means for traditional computing. Author delves into the area of post-quantum cryptography, introducing approaches like lattice cryptography, code-based cryptography, multivariate cryptography and hash-based signatures. These solutions exploit quantum features to guard against quantum computer attacks, albeit they may come with certain trade-offs. This research study emphasizes the constantly changing environment of digital security, emphasizing the importance of adaptive cryptographic systems in an increasingly linked and vulnerable world. © 2024 IEEE.

As the level of autonomous driving(AD) increases, the number of sensors in a single vehicle increases, and the required computing power also increases rapidly. The intelligence level of AD depends on algorithms and hardware performance. However, due to the problems such as limited production cost or computing resources, some vehicles may not have enough computation power for high level of AD. To overcome such obstacles, the distributed AD system architecture based on edge computing has become a trend. We build an edge computing-based distributed AD system on top of Robot Operating System(ROS2) and measure the performance with different settings. Our test results show the feasibility of AD systems centered on edge computing units, which open new research directions for exploiting edge computing in a more diverse way. © 2022 IEEE.

In the process of assigning kiwifruit production tasks, due to the large planting area of kiwifruit, it takes a long time to allocate suitable planting intervals for kiwifruit trees, resulting in an increase in algorithm execution time and cost. Therefore, it is proposed to further improve the local search algorithm based on the improved local search algorithm for kiwifruit yield task allocation, combined with the global search ability of the sparrow search algorithm and the introduction of variable helix factors and dimension wise lens learning strategies. The simulation results show that the improved local search algorithm has a faster convergence speed, and the curve has converged after 500 iterations. When the kiwifruit yield task is less than 30 tons, H is set to 2, and when the kiwifruit yield task is greater than 40 tons, H is set to 4. When the yield task is less than or equal to 40 tons, planting area 3 can meet the optimal planting interval. When the yield is greater than or equal to 50 tons, planting area 4 meets the requirements. Therefore, using an improved local search algorithm to allocate intervals between kiwifruit trees has good allocation performance, and can allocate kiwifruit trees reasonably based on different yield tasks and planting area. In order to solve the problem that traditional routing algorithms and existing intelligent routing algorithms are difficult to take into account the advantages of energy consumption, delay, packet loss and throughput, this paper proposes an energy efficient routing algorithm Route-A3C based on improved asynchronous advantage actor-critic (A3C) in the software-defined network (SDN) environment. Route-A3C optimizes both network energy consumption and various performance indicators during the training process, and introduces the Next network into the A3C algorithm framework, which can predict the state of the network and reduce training complexity. The Route-A3C trains the weights of each link that can be output after convergence, so as to calculate the network transmission path and realize energy efficient routing planning. During the experiment, we compare the Route-A3C algorithm with ECMP, DQN-EER and DRL-R. The Route-A3C routing algorithm has a good convergence effect, and it reduces the energy saving percentage by 12.58%, reduces the delay by 6.71% and the packet loss rate by 11.63%, and increases throughput by 4.26%.

Smoking and consumption of excess alcohol is one of the major rising concerns in our society. In accordance with a WHO report released on July 31, 2023, tobacco use kills over 8 million people annually, of which 1.3 million are non-smokers who are exposed to passive smoking, and three million die from alcohol abuse. It not only affects the physical and mental health of the people who practices it but also affects the people who are around them. This work will play an important role as it helps in identifying these unhealthy habits from medical parameters which can contribute in prevention of the health risks which lie ahead. The results obtained are beneficial for the intended users like health professionals, insurance policy handlers and public health agencies where they will be able to identify the people who show addiction to these habits. We have performed various machine learning classification models which includes Light Gradient Boosting (LGB), Logistic Regression, Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGB), Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbor etc, on the dataset which contains medical parameters as features which is used to categorize a person as a smoker or not a smoker or someone who used to smoke, and a drinker or not. Also, the explainability tools used helps to understand the key features which contribute to the decision making in the classification © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, we analyze a syndrome decoding problem that occurs when performing state injection on rotated surface code with distance = 3 and propose a method to solve it. When state injection is performed on the rotated surface code with distance 3, there are some cases that the state of logical qubit becomes alpha vert 0> mathrm{L}- upbeta vert 1> mathrm{L}. due to the syndrome decoding problem. In this paper, we analyze the problem and propose an syndrome decoding method for the state injection. In addition, this was verified using quantum simulators. © 2022 IEEE.

In modern network, Routing protocols face issues that must be addressed to ensure optimal performance. Routing involves sending data packets from one device to another through a network. Key issues include network complexity and performance. Dynamic routing, using the OSPF protocol, automatically selects the best path in the network. However, OSPF's link-state database grows with the network, requiring more memory and processing power. Dynamic routing performance can degrade due to changes in topology and disruptions, affecting user experience and operational efficiency. As network complexity increases, Segment routing is becoming more popular. It allows users to specify paths for specific service requirements, improving overall performance. Segment routing offers control flexibility and scalability, enabling easier management of data paths. In this Paper, the comparison between Dynamic routing OSPF and Segment Routing method will be measured. The parameters used for testing are Routing Performance metrics and Quality of Service (QOS). The measurement results show that segment routing provides higher throughput, and lower packet loss compared to dynamic routing OSPF. In addition, segment routing also shows better jitter performance, making it a more effective solution for high-complexity networks. Specifically, Segment Routing achieved a convergence time of 0.047 s in Topology A and 0.046 s in Topology B, outperforming Dynamic Routing OSPF, which had convergence times of 0.052 s and 0.048 s, respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

Captioning an image is the method of writing a plain English the description of an image. This is a difficult assignment since it calls for the model to comprehend the image's information and to produce correct and fluid text. It has been demonstrated that a novel class of neural network called vision transformers is useful for picture captioning. Vision transformers are able to learn long-range dependencies in images, which is essential for generating accurate and fluent captions. In this project, will explore the use of vision transformers for modelling complex associations in images. The work will investigate how vision transformers can be used to generate captions that are more informative and comprehensive. The work will also explore how vision transformers can be used to generate captions that are more creative and *** work is based on Flickr8k Dataset, which is a large dataset of images and captions. The vision transformer model will be trained on this dataset. The model is then assessed using a held-out test set. Compared to conventional picture captioning models, the vision transformer model will be able to provide captions that are more detailed and insightful. It will also be able to generate more creative and engaging captions. This project has implications for the development of new image captioning models. Vision transformers are a promising new approach for image captioning, and they have the potential to generate more accurate, fluent, informative, creative, and engaging captions. © 2024 IEEE.

Facial recognition has been nowadays a key role in computer field. The rapid advancement of Machine Learning techniques has been revolutionizing the field of computer vision. This paper presents a comprehensive investigation into the application of Machine Learning techniques. The study comprehensively reviews the various state-of-the-art facial and ocular algorithms. These modern learning techniques help to concatenate the various model which exist. A detailed examination of dataset and evaluation metrics are used for assessing detection performance is also presented to provide a foundation for comparative analysis. This article is used for designing and implementing of novel models for face and eye detection. Inception v3 was used to assist in removing overfitting using efficient convolution and parallel layers. This paper contributes to the ongoing discourse on Machine learning approaches to face and eye recognition by providing new examples, performance reviews, and ethical considerations. This article focuses on using the capabilities Multi-task Cascaded Convolutional Networks (MTCNN) for precise and efficient face and eye detection. Additionally, the study incorporates interpretability methodologies such as LIME(Local Interpretable Model-agnostic Explanations). The results of this study have important implications for the development of more accurate, more efficient, and more responsible facial and visual recognition systems, widely used in various industries. © 2024 IEEE.

Fog computing is paving the way for catering latency stringent applications (e.g., augmented reality and virtual reality) at the customer premises. Fog computing nodes are located between the end user devices and remote cloud. They are lightweight and small-scale storage and processing system deployed closer to the data source, allowing faster processing as well as providing privacy and security of the data. We have been witnessing a growing number of solutions that integrate Passive Optical Network (PON) with the fog computing. Along this research line, there are some solutions considering fog computing nodes are co-located with the Optical Line Terminal (OLT), the central intelligence of a PON system, and Optical Network Unit (ONU), a customer premises equipment. There are some solutions, on the other hand, that propose to embed computing and storage functionality within PON equipment itself. In this paper, we particularly focus on the later approach. Here, we propose an energy conserving solution for a PON system with fog computing enabled ONUs, i.e., the ONUs are equipped with additional computing and Storage Units (CSUs). Our solution aims at minimizing energy consumption of a PON system by keeping only the required number of CSUs active and allowing the ONUs to move into sleep mode (whenever possible) by taking into account task arrival rate and task completion deadline. © 2023 IEEE.
