In order to simultaneously solve the problems of beam diffusion and occlusion in long-distance free space optics (FSO) transmission, a hybrid relay and OIRS-aided FSO communication system with distributed computing is proposed in this paper. In the front-end link, the base station sends optical signals to the optical relay. The signal is forwarded to the OIRS after being collimated and amplified by the optical relay, and then transmitted to the user after being reflected by the OIRS. we derive closed-form solutions of the system's precise outage probability, asymptotic outage probability and BER by jointly considering optical relay gain, OIRS physical model, pointing error, atmospheric turbulence, atmospheric absorption, etc. Based on theoretical analysis and simulation results, the system's parameter settings have been discussed. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper investigates investment costs and challenges of implementing digital money in the tourism industry. Electronic cash offers financial transparency and transaction efficiency by eliminating the reliance on physical cash via a voucher system. Also, it enables travelers to make instant payments for bookings, accommodations, and services through digital platforms, thus simplifying cross-border transactions. However, recent difficulties encountered by Russian tourists in Thailand highlight the negative impact of restricted financial transactions on tourism revenue, underscoring the need for further examination and solutions. Embracing digital money enhances customer experiences, streamlines financial operations, and paves the way for a connected and cashless future of travel. Additionally, this research explores the properties and considerations surrounding the implementation of the Andaman token in blockchain-based platforms, including technical-operational costs and user understanding. It contributes to a deeper understanding of utilizing vouchers in different contexts and evaluating the potential of blockchain solutions for the tourism industry. © 2023 IEEE.

The Affine-Projection Maximum Asymmetric Correntropy Criterion (APMACC) is constructed, drawing upon the fundamental principles of the maximum asymmetric correntropy criterion and an affine-projection scheme. The APMACC algorithm incorporates the asymmetric Gaussian model as a kernel function within the Affine-Projection (AP) algorithm framework, thereby endowing it with robustness against asymmetrically distributed noise. Furthermore, the bound for step-size is established in the literature. Simulation results demonstrate that the APMACC has fast convergence and low steady-state. © 2023 IEEE.

Network Function Virtualization (NFV) can facilitate the rapid and flexible deployment of network service functions and improve resource utilization. In order to meet the integrated service requirements of 'cloud, network, edge, and terminal' in future converged application scenarios, different from the research on resource allocation in pure NFV scenarios, this paper takes advantage of the centralized control of Software Defined Networking (SDN), solve the joint optimization problem of computing and transmission resources in Service Function Chaining (SFC) under resource fusion. In the current new computing and network convergence scenario, various computing, storage and other resources are integrated and coordinated based on network information scheduling and distribution. The selection of various data center locations is vital for efficient resource utilization. In this paper, we propose a method to determine the location of various data centers by using Random Walk Betweenness Centrality (RWBC), then price the cost of different types of data centers, and finally propose an SFC mapping scheme for Joint-Optimization of computing and Transmission Resources (JCTR). The scheme coordinates the allocation of computing and storage resources to reduce frequency slot fragmentation. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has a higher success ratio of service deployment, lower consumption of spectrum resources and better ability to balance the use of computing resources than the conventional NUAM algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

Nowadays is the era of interconnected everything, and the entire network system is becoming increasingly large. At this time, the carrying capacity of the network will gradually become a constraint. Therefore, research on access control for large-scale wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is urgent. With the rapid increase in the number of network service terminal sites, the continuous improvement of network service latency requirements and security performance, and the significant increase in network energy consumption, the new generation of Internet of Things (IOT) systems are facing a series of new technological challenges. In WSN, latency and power performance are often a pair of indicators that cannot be achieved simultaneously. How to optimize and balance these two indicators is a challenge in routing and MAC algorithms. We choose sensor nodes with different specifications and performance, and build a practical WSN test platform. On this platform, we measure the delay and power consumption data of the algorithm in the actual transmission process. The experimental results show that compared with the simulation research, the proposed algorithm also shows lower delay and power consumption on real hardware, which verifies the practicability of the algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

Psychological counseling for university students has received much attention in recent years, and how to effectively assess the effectiveness of a large amount of counseling data has become an urgent problem to be solved. This article aims to propose a validity assessment model for university student psychological counseling data based on deep learning (DL), and compare it with traditional decision tree (DT) algorithm to verify its superiority and practicality. Based on the characteristics of the data and the actual needs of assessment, this study will carefully design the network structure and optimize the model through training to ensure that it can accurately capture effective features from the data. Through comparative experiments, the DL algorithm proposed in this article is significantly superior to the DT algorithm in terms of prediction accuracy, operational efficiency, and model stability. The DL algorithm has shown significant advantages in evaluating the effectiveness of psychological counseling data for university students. This algorithm can more accurately assess the effectiveness of counseling data, provide strong support for psychological counseling services for university students, and promote progress and development in this field. © 2023 IEEE.

Adaptive equalizer plays an important role in wireless communication. The speed of data transmission depends on the characteristics of the channel. ISI (Intersymbol Interference) is the major obstacle to speed limitation in a channel. so it is a challenge in wireless communication to transfer data at a high speed. Adaptive equalizer supports high speed data transmission in wireless communications by removing an ISI in a channel. The adaptive equalizer automatically adjusts its coefficient as per different variations in the channel. Different soft computing algorithms have been applied for designing adaptive equalizers to achieve better performance and for faster convergence. In this research, two specific parameter less algorithms TLBO (Teaching Learning Based Optimization) and JAYA are applied for adaptive equalization. Error convergence graphs based on the Mean Square Error ( MSE) parameter have been observed for two algorithms for SNR( Signal to Noise Ratio) 10 dB,20 dB, and 30 dB. From the comparison of convergence characteristics, it is observed that JAYA algorithm gives better performance in comparison to TLBO For a distorted channel © 2023 IEEE.

In this work, we propose a fully hardware implementation of Hopfield neural network (HNN) based on memristive arrays, which adopts a bottom-up brain-inspired hardware framework. Memristors are used as key computing units to design cell modules in the low layer to play roles similar to neurons and synapses, so as to perform information integration, filtering, and plasticity of weights in a simple circuit structure and in-memory computing way. Cell modules are cascaded by the mode of encoding and mapping based on HNN in a structured regular circuit way to construct functional modules with brain-inspired parallel analog computing capacity in middle layers. Different functional modules perform information interaction according to the system's requirements and goals, thus realizing the overall system in the top layer. Our proposed HNN system is then used to solve combinatorial optimization problems. Different from other similar work, our system starts from a memristor-based brain-inspired framework and is implemented fully in hardware. The experimental results show that our work can not only improve the convergence speed, but also can be conveniently used to solve problems of different scales because of its good scalability. In addition, with hardware overhead and power consumption analysis, our system has been shown to be very hardware-friendly. Our work represents an advance towards a memristor-based hardware system with brain-inspired structure and high performance.

In the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) applications, vehicle and in-vehicle users need to process computation-intensive and latency-sensitive tasks. Offloading tasks to satellite edge servers can alleviate the computational burden and reduce vehicular users' energy consumption, especially in remote areas. In this paper, we study a low earth orbit (LEO) satellite-assisted vehicular edge computing system. We jointly consider user association variable, task allocation, power control, and bandwidth allocation to minimize weighted sum-energy consumption in the system. Specifically, we design an iterative optimization algorithm, which decomposes the original non-convex problem into several sub-problems. We solve each sub-problem efficiently using variable substitutions, and the Karush-Kuhn-Tucke (KKT) condition. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has a good convergence performance and effectively reduces system weighted sum-energy consumption compared to benchmarks. © 2023 IEEE.

Question Generation (QG) is a task to generate questions based on an input context. Question Generation can be solved in several ways, ranging from conventional rule-based systems to recently emerging sequence-to-sequence approaches. The limitation of most QG systems is its limitation on input form, which is mainly only on text data. On the other hand, Multimodal QG covers several different inputs such as: text, image, table, video, or even acoustics. In this paper, we present our proposed method to handle the Multimodal Question Generation task using an attachment to a BERT-based model called Multimodal Adaptation Gate (MAG). The results show that using the proposed method, this development succeeds to do a Multimodal Question Generation task. The generated questions give 16.05 BLEU 4 and 28.27 ROUGE-L scores, accompanied by the human evaluation to judge the generated questions from the model, resulting in 55% fluency and 53% relevance. © 2023 IEEE.
