Demand in wireless applications is due to low cost, low weight, compact size, single-band, and multiband frequency characteristics. Researchers anticipate numerous approaches to reach their goal. The patch antenna comprises 3 layers. Patch shapes are in the form of rectangle, triangle, circle, square, etc. Different types of substrates like Rogers, FR-4, RT Duroid, Foam, etc., are used in fractal antenna depending upon the demand of applications. Feeding techniques like coaxial feed, microstrip line feed, proximity feed, aperture feed, etc., can be used based on the requirement of antenna design. As a result, the current distribution of the antenna becomes better in carpet fractal antenna. Patch antennas are operated in GHz and THz frequencies. This paper presents a comprehensive survey on Sierpinski carpet fractal structures, including design expressions and applications. © 2022 The Institution of engineering and technology.

Recognition for bird species is one of the most challenging tasks in visualizing a very abundant bird species. It is a subfield of object recognition and is meant to differentiate sub-categories. Furthermore, it aims to categorize the data, such as images. Therefore, identifying the bird species through images helps us acquire a more accurate result. Thus, we have developed a deep learning model to help users identify bird species. Meanwhile, deep convolutional neural networks have been very effective in dealing with images of having different dimensions and thus succeeding at tasks like object detection and classification, learning various features like edges, colors, etc. Thus, using the neural network model, we have taken 200 different species of birds in the form of images to classify. First, birds images were learned by a convolutional neural network (CNN) to identify the dominant features in the images. Then, we used the softmax function to obtain a probability distribution of bird characteristics. Finally, to obtain a more accurate result, we compare our GoogleLeNet model with the VGG16. © 2022 The Institution of engineering and technology.

In wireless sensor networks, vertical handoff mechanisms are becoming an attractive topic that focuses on improving mobility models in this model. Seamless mobility management offers existing Node's location point to another network in a significant way with failure in communication process on different heterogeneous wireless networks provide better service. Handover is also called Handoff, exchanging payload between two different nodes. The handover can be categorized as horizontal and vertical handover. Here, the vertical Handoff is considered where WLAN takes the service (payload) to a cellular network and vice versa. In this work, the proposed technique provides effective handover processing in the wireless sensor network area. Therefore, the proposed technique utilizes a hybrid grey wolf optimization technique (HGWO). The implementation is done on the NS2 platform that helps to prove the proposed technique is better than existing in terms of performance analysis metrics such as Delay, load balancing, throughput, energy, and call drop. © 2022 The Institution of engineering and technology.

As advancements in the semiconductor industry are on a rapid scale, certain product-based, as well as EDA tool vendors, focus on better scaling, reusability, and low power consumption in different peripherals and interfaces. So, there is aneed for a proper channel between these peripheral components such that transactions and data transfer take place vigorously. To cope up with these, different communications protocols have been developed from time to time. AMBA (ARM) has developed a series of a wide range of on-chip interconnects for managing functional blocks on SoC (System on Chip). ACE an advanced version of AXI is a snooping-based communication protocol used for connecting peripherals interface and observe the behavior of transactions. The channels present in this are pipelined and operate simultaneously. Every design needs to be verified to implement all the features and specifications without any lapse. So, a verification environment is very much necessary to execute and verify the simulations. Hence, this paper deals with the development of a verification component that can generate and simulate all signals of the ACE Protocol. The project implements different transactions in form of data and addresses and carries out multiple test scenarios to meet the desired results. © 2022 The Institution of engineering and technology.

Nowadays, many studies are based on the Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) for detecting a ship which is more important for its safety. This method is used to safeguard the ship from lousy weather and reach it on its time. In recent times, the studies are advanced with deep learning for very sensitive calculation with higher accuracy skills;the SAR image is also worked on it. In this brief, the proposed deep learning of hybrid DenseNet and mobile (DMN) is implemented to detect the ship. This technique is based on the convolutional neural network (CNN), a multi-layer classifier. This method combines DenseNet and mobile techniques that are used to classify the missing ship and detect the false alarm with higher precision. The results are simulated and compared with the previous method by validating parameters like precision, recall, and F1 score. The results showed that the proposed DMN is much more effective than the previous deep learning in ship detection. © 2022 The Institution of engineering and technology.

Mobile Devices are used worldwide nowadays and are being used for most of the tasks we do in our everyday lives. This becomes a good reason for bad people to exploit you somehow. One of the ways is through malware attacks. It can harm us by exploiting our privacy, showing advertisements on our mobile devices, browser exploitation, data tampering, phishing, etc. In India, more than 740 million people are using smartphones, approximately 54% of India's population, and the number of users is increasing each year which makes them all vulnerable to such attacks. There are many ways to detect malware hidden in our phones, prevent such attacks, and maintain our privacy. In this paper, we will discuss the approaches we can take to ensure all the users are secure and protected, and we will be talking about pegasus spyware, why this is so dangerous, and how we can stay protected from such malware. We will also be discussing an implementation that can be used to detect malware and alert users to take the necessary steps to make the device secure again. © 2022 The Institution of engineering and technology.

Due to significant safety concerns, today, many places are filled with CCTV cameras, but it still uses manual security to overlook these, which leaves much space for human error, be it negligence or a dangerous situation. This may result in many anomalies such as violence, hostage, or fires. To prevent this, an intelligent and automated system has been implemented that tries to overcome this using deep learning techniques. Using Deep Learning models utilizing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), specifically the lightweight models - MobileNetV2 and ResNet50V2 are used to identify threat movements in the given frames over three datasets, namely UCF crime, Real life violence situations, and UBI-fights. The violence in the video is detected using frames, and accuracy is measured. A threat is detected by the system from the video frame, based on which the system for the situation generates an alert. In extreme cases, alerts are sent directly to nearby police stations and emergency services with accurate location information while also indicating the suspicious activities at an instance of time. © 2022 The Institution of engineering and technology.

Tuberculosis is the substantial irresistible disease present in human that principally influences lungs, this tuberculosis is one the main ten noticeable reasons for death for human. In this paper, an automated framework dependent on image handling is proposed to help specialists and radiologists in deciphering Chest X-beams (CXR) for early identification of lung Tuberculosis (TB). CXR can show the abnormalities in lungs as well as TB which helps to precisely and rapidly distinguish TB on the grounds that early treatment will provide to patients and disease will stop spreading in body. The proposed system comprised of preprocessing, segmentation, features extraction, and classification. In this paper proposed a strategy of image segmentation and AI to conclusion and characterize the tuberculosis (TB). These tool and procedures are utilized to earlier uncover of tuberculosis (TB) illness. Additionally arrange the sort of TB. In Sentiment analysis, writer's view about products, events, government policies, services, topics, organizations, and individuals is determined through the text written by them on social media platforms like Twitter, and Facebook. Previous researchers focused on getting sentiment either from syntactic and lexical features or by using pre-trained word embeddings. We have combined GloVe pre-trained word embedding,lexicon based features, and Bag of words to form an ensemble feature(FE). We have considered two Twitter datasets namely, US Airlines Twitter, and Stanford Twitter Sentiment Gold (STSGd). We have applied three machine learning algorithms on TF-IDF features, three deep learning algorithms on GloVe word embedding feature. We have proposed a hybrid model which is a combination of LSTM and CNN model with ensemble feature. The proposed model has performed around 2% better on US Airlines Twitter dataset and around 8% better on STS-Gold dataset than state-of-the-art-results. It is observed that ensemble feature improved the performance of algorithms. © 2022 The Institution of engineering and technology.

The monitoring system has been developed for serious cases of orthopaedic injury and for the health of older people's lifestyles. It has been built for testing and discussion, and the functionality was the most important in contrast to the form aspect. Other issues, such as defence, maintenance and economies of scale, were significant but outside of our control. This is important if the device is utilised but not sufficient for our tests. Home orthopaedic rehabilitation health monitoring Connecting products and installations that eliminate human involvement to live a better existence. Acceleration data are supplied by employing accelerometers for different axis x, y, z in this project. The measuring signals in the motion of the two accelerometers were mounted one on the upper knee and the other on the bottom of the knee, from either side to the knee. Any motions in the joints modify the accelerometers which cause the accelerometer generate the output voltage in relation to gravity variations. Moreover, in combination with heartbeat, the temperature is generated by the output of the alcohol concentration sensor which is sent into the microcontroller. In addition, the microcontroller processes this information to deliver the output transmitted over Bluetooth on the Android mobile device. The android app translates incoming messages to give physician and caregiver detailed information and warning. © 2022 The Institution of engineering and technology.
