Home healthcare presents important advantages and benefits over traditional hospitalization, supported by the contemporary scientific and technological achievements. The ubiquitous computing paradigm is considered suitable to support nursing at home provided that the distributed computing devices participate in the commonly interpreted context. Wirelessly and ad-hoc connected large numbers of disseminated sensors and computing devices in the home environment present problems related to energy limitations and the patients' mobility resulting in the infroduction of systemic complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity. In addition, describing such a system with analytical mathematics requires and includes extensive details becoming tedious if not impractical. Denotational mathematics provides an alternative formal methodological framework capable to describe the important components, the operation, and the behavior of such complicated systems. With the employment of denotational mathematics an attempt is made to design a system that develops medically valid contextual contents to support patients hospitalized at home. The developed design provides the contents of the medical context enriched by the rules of the current state of medical knowledge. The technically evolved context is compared against predetermined medical contexts to obtain valid interpretation. The presented design has the ambition to support efficiently the cooperation of the discrete software applications looking for the development of a commonly interpreted medical context at home.

The accelerated urbanisation and the increasing complexity of municipal infrastructure require the implementation of innovative strategies to regulate and improve urban environments. By integrating By integrating Cognitive computing, which combines AI, machine learning, and data analytics, could completely change how smart cities manage their infrastructure. The main goal of this project is to see what the possible benefits are of adding cognitive computing to the systems that are already in place, architecture of smart cities, resource allocation, enable predictive maintenance, facilitate informed decision-making, and provide real-time monitoring. We demonstrate the potential of cognitive systems to enhance the durability, duration, and efficacy of urban infrastructure through the examination of case studies and contemporary technological advancements. The results suggest that cognitive computing is the most effective solution for addressing current urban challenges and, as a result, is the most suitable choice for the development of intelligent cities in the future.

Innovative solutions to major issues in agriculture and sustainability are now available because of the fusion of bio-inspired computing and plant biotechnology. This study examines how genetic algorithms and neural networks, two bio-inspired technologies, can be used to improve crop qualities, forecast plant responses, and manage crops more effectively. We demonstrate their potential influence on developing plant biotechnology by discussing their benefits and applications to conventional approaches. We showcase effective implementations, ranging from better planting schedules to creating disease-resistant crops. Its capabilities are further enhanced by combining omics and phenotyping technologies with bio-inspired computing. We discuss issues including data integration difficulties and moral concerns with regard to genetically modified creatures. Computer scientists and biotechnologists will be able to work together thanks to this multidisciplinary approach. In summary, we can conclude that combining bio-inspired computing with plant biotechnology has the potential to advance sustainable agriculture. This combination offers a crucial step toward resilient food systems and environmental stewardship as we move toward precision farming. © 2023 IEEE.

Cloud computing imparts huge storage at low cost, because the internet is so widely used around the world, massive amounts of data are stored on local devices and integrated and stored on a common platform for easy access, sharing, and, high availability. The cloud environment provides a convenient way for normal users and enterprises to migrate their apps, data, and storage to the cloud-based server for storage due to the high availability of its services and the flexibility of computing processes. Securing information is the primary challenge in cloud computing. Securing the data from unauthorized modification and access is one of the key challenges of the cloud environment. In order to secure user data, different security algorithms were adapted. This paper provides a client-level monitoring approach to secure data in a cloud environment. The monitoring approach consists of the user or client system, monitor, and cloud storage. The user uploads the encrypted form of documents onto the cloud storage and the cloud storage stores the encrypted form of user documents, and the monitor periodically monitors or the user directs the monitor to check the integrity of user data. © 2023 IEEE.

Cloud technology has the power to manage computational efficiency. Cloud provides easy access but is also vulnerable to security measures as the internet is open to everyone. Adding cryptography and steganography to the cloud makes it more secure. Steganography, a method for hiding communication has emerged to put data secretly into digital media. The study has steganography tools, text, audio, and video steganography. User-friendly web application is hosted on an AWS server. This platform integrates the efficiency of the cloud with hybrid cryptography along with steganography tools that allow users to use this in sectors where data is sensitive. The Diffie-Hellman algorithm generates a key to keep the information safe, and the AES algorithm is used to encrypt and decrypt the data. In the project by combining cloud technology with security, this project not only addresses the need for data security but also displays the efficiency of the cloud in handling high computational work. © 2024 IEEE.

Speech enhancement system focuses on improving people's communication with speech impairments by converting unclear speech into a clear and intelligible output using a Rasp- berry Pi with a microphone. The speech is recorded using the microphone, processed for Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficient extraction and logistic regression reconstruction of classified speech features. The system works in real time and gives output through a speaker. Initializations had been done, including noise reduction and feature extraction for quality inputs to the logistic regression, which is modelled for indomitable setup through grid search with cross-validation. Testing was carried out in relation to effectiveness, which the system profiles through different metrics, especially accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results obtained are, in fact, that the model would be of help in increasing the clarity of the speech and hence providing quality in enhancing communication to real-time interactors with a speech defect. The system has the potential of impacting enhancing the quality of life for the user through enhanced communication. © 2024 IEEE.

The concept of project success has been studied extensively over the years. Project success criteria that pertain to assessment measurements aimed at determining project success and project success factors that are input influencers to achieve project-desired outcome are two dimensions from which project success has been researched. This research study was set to investigate the extent to which software development organizations lack project success stimulating factors as considered by software project teams. Defined methodologies, team inclusion in decision-making and proper communication were found to be project success factors missing in some of the software organizations in South Africa. Based on the implications presented by the absence of these factors, recommendations have been made and these include formalizing and defining their project methodologies, project managers practicing shared decision-making in their projects and improving their communication levels with their project *** research study will be of interest to software development organizations that seek to improve their project success rate by paying attention to project success factors. © 2019 IEEE.

Machine learning brings another perspective into intrusion detection systems. Conventional techniques stumble at the pace of fast-evolving cyber threats, so we delve into machine learning-based intrusion detection systems. In this paper, we survey different datasets using different models: supervised, unsupervised, and hybrid. The work presents feature selection, model optimization, and performance metrics. This paper handles well-known challenges connected with imbalanced data and risks of overfitting. Ensembling and deep learning realize stunning improvements over the traditional approaches. These findings offer in-depth views of practical ways in which machine learning can be integrated into network security with a clear way forward toward real adaptive resilient intrusion detection, underpinning the transformative role of ML in hardening defenses within the cyber domain against sophisticated attacks. © 2024 IEEE.

Heterogeneous Distributed Systems (HDS) provides service to users executed on a set of geographically heterogeneous distributed resources with dynamic nature. In HDS, load balancing approaches has a vital role in tasks allocation for avoiding resources overloaded or underloaded. Over the past decades, these approaches have been developed to improve objective parameters. The mapping problem of independent Batch of Tasks (BoT) on computational machines with heterogeneities to optimize various quality of service (QoS) in distributed system has been proven as NP-complete. In this paper, we propose an Enhanced Load Balancing Strategy with Migration cost (ELBSM) to optimize load imbalance on nodes in the system. We evaluate our work through comparative performance evaluation using randomly generated batch of tasks by using MATLAB 8.5.0. Experimental study suggests that the proposed work prevails over existing strategies in terms of considered parameters under study. © 2018 IEEE.

The task of forecasting stock market trends is widely regarded as one of the most difficult challenges in financial time series analysis, owing to the dynamic and non-linear nature of financial data. Forecasting the stock market is an essential requirement for comprehending market patterns and devising trading strategies. The present study is centred on the examination of financial data through the implementation of the present discourse pertains to two distinct technical indicators, namely the simple moving average and exponential moving average. The aim is to predict the future path of the stock market's movement. The utilization of the moving average approach has gained widespread acceptance due to its ease of implementation. The experiments were conducted utilizing a five-year historical dataset from two distinct stock markets, namely TCS and Apple. The present study draws a comparison between two companies by analysing their respective trading signals to infer the potential movement of their stock prices. © 2023 IEEE.
