Security Requirements classification is an important area to the Software Engineering community in order to build software that is secure, robust and able to withstand attacks. This classification facilitates proper analysis of security requirements so that adequate security mechanisms are incorporated in the development process. Machine Learning techniques have been used in Security Requirements classification to aid in the process that lead to ensuring that correct security mechanisms are designed corresponding to the Security Requirements classifications made to eliminate the risk of security being incorporated in the late stages of development. However, these Machine Learning techniques have been found to have problems including, handcrafting of features, overfitting and failure to perform well with high dimensional data. In this paper we explore Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning to determine if this can be applied to Security Requirements classification. © 2018 IEEE.

The paper deals with the evolution of computer technology and consecutive creation of computer industry in Slovakia-the Eastern and less industrially developed part of Czechoslovakia in the years 1952-1989 at the context of Czechoslovak, COMECON and World state of art of electronics and computer technology. It analyzes how this process was influenced by the Institute of Technical Cybernetics (ÚTK) at the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV), summarizes positive and negative aspects of this development and aftereffects on the contemporary situation. Distributed computing is a well-known concept in the contemporary era. Every big technological company/firm runs their applications on servers distributed across the world. It compliments multiple benefits, including yet not limited to rapid response times to clients and better reliability. But, distributed the server may be, or it is still under the control of a centralized entity, i.e., the company spearheading the servers. Decentralized applications, abbreviated as DApps, aims to counteract this drawback. The server-side code of DApps are stored and executed upon a decentralized peer-to-peer network, like an Ethereum blockchain. This way, DApps maintain all the advantages of a distributed computing system while presenting several added benefits. © 2022 IEEE.

The widespread availability and increasing processing power of mobile devices has lead to a focus towards the development of autonomous mobile computing grids (MoGs). Such mobile grids allow the successful execution of distributed applications;without access to any static nodes or wired networks. However, the implementation of a fault tolerance technique is essential to completely utilize the mobile devices as viable computing resources. Checkpointing is a well explored fault tolerance technique for mobile computing systems. The paper presents an adaptive checkpointing technique for failure recovery of mobile nodes in a MoG. The presented protocol relies on cooperative checkpointing by the constituent nodes in the system. A node uses the stable storage of other nodes in the system to save its checkpoint data, in case the requisite stable storage is not available at the node itself. Further, depending on the availability of resources in the MoG, the scheme replicates a node's checkpoint data at multiple nodes. The results of simulation for the presented scheme verify that the introduction of redundancy with the checkpointing procedure vastly increases the likelihood of successful recovery of a failed node in a MoG.

Breast cancer, the main cause of mortality and disability in women globally, requires novel techniques to early detection, precise diagnosis, and successful treatment. In recent years, the combination of feature selection methodologies with CNN (convolutional neural network) techniques has emerged as a possible strategy to tackling the intricate nature of breast cancer analysis. This systematic review synthesizes the research at the intersection of feature selection and CNN techniques in breast cancer analysis, aiming to provide insights into the synergistic potential of these methodologies in advancing precision oncology. Through a rigorous search and selection process, articles extracted from peer reviewed journals and proceedings of A grade conferences. The review elucidates the diverse modalities of feature selection techniques employed in conjunction with CNN architectures, encompassing filter-based methods, wrapper approaches, embedded feature selection, and hybrid strategies. Presented work showcased the literature, using important parameters like classification of histopathological images, molecular subtype prediction, and treatment response assessment and unveils the transformative potential of feature selection and CNN techniques in augmenting the accuracy, interpretability, and generalizability of breast cancer analysis. Moreover, scrutinize the methodological rigor and translational relevance of the reviewed studies, delineating key challenges, limitations, and avenues for future research. © 2024 IEEE.

Cloud computing is the use of a virtual repository of resources dispersed throughout the Internet. It is a development of computer technology that is based on the Internet. Depending on their demands, several levels of users can access cloud computing services. However, data security on the Internet is the most crucial concern for cloud computing. Confidentiality, security, anonymity, and authenticity are common problems experienced by both cloud service providers and customers. Cloud service users do not have complete access to or control over these services. However, the cloud service provider must guarantee that the client's login information is safe. To strengthen cloud security, we were able to recognize and look at a wide range of encryption problems. A hybrid framework for cloud computing security is taken into consideration based on these techniques. © 2022 IEEE.

Watermarking is one of the solutions used as copyright protection. This research proposes a watermarking technique that is strong, fast and has good quality imperceptibility. The method used is two levels of wavelet transformation that serves to reduce the sensitivity of human vision to watermarks. Next is the transformation of Tchebichef which has a fast and powerful computational performance to image manipulation that often happens. The embedding process also uses the use of scaling factor values and the watermark image complement process to minimize the noise in the cover image. Based on the results of trials conducted the proposed method can produce an average PSNR value of 42.4380 dB and SSIM of 0.9978. While the value of watermark resistance performance against various attacks such as adding noise, filtering, blur, and cropping produces an average NCC value of 0.8947. These results indicate that the performance of the imperceptibility and robustness of the proposed method is excellent. © 2019 IEEE.

Cloud computing is a service oriented concept which offers everything as a service. These services are deployed at the server with necessary credentials in order to provide reliable services to the customer. The customer always wants to process and store the data in the cloud with an efficient access over different location. The security is the key parameter to secure the customer's data. The cloud computing security issues are addressed in various standards and techniques which lacks in providing a complete solution. The privacy issues in the cloud access are handled and assessed by using privacy protocols and assessment techniques which are also addressed. The trust issues in cloud computing has been addressed with different models. An inter-cloud and intra-cloud standard of cloud interoperability has been identified in order to highlight the challenges exist during the cloud interaction. The cloud resources are deployed over cloud environment with different models also faces a problem. This paper focuses on a recent survey related to the cloud interoperability, security, privacy and trust based on standards and guidelines have been analyzed. The overall focus on this paper is to establish an interoperability among different cloud service providers for effective interaction by maximizing the QoS of cloud computing.
