Although Federated Learning allows for participants to contribute their local data without it being revealed, it faces issues in data security and in accurately paying participants for quality data contributions. In this paper, we propose an EOS Blockchain design and workflow to establish data security, a novel validation error based metric upon which we qualify gradient uploads for payment, and implement a small example of our blockchain Federated Learning model to analyze its performance.

Robots are expected to be used in the smart manufacturing and smart factory with the help of information and communication technologies. The increasing and consistent integration of ICTs and robot into the production systems in subsystems and components are needed. The mechatronic systems become cyber-physical systems through additional communication skills and autonomy in behavior on external influences and internally stored settings. Robots are integrated in the cyber-Physical Production System to realize smart factory and smart manufacturing. In a laboratory environment, innovative logistical systems integrated with robots are built up to apply horizontal and vertical integration into practice for research investigations.

Welcome to cyberc 2012: the international conference on cyber-enabled distributed computing and knowledge discovery conference. The goal of cyberc is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of innovative ideas, research results, applications, and experience for network-enabled distributed computing and knowledge discovery technologies. It focuses on all aspects of distributed computing and knowledge mining and their scientific, engineering, and commercial applications. This year we have introduced four workshops on topics including EHealth, Cognitive Radio, Security, and SmartSensor. The conference is organized by the Beijing Jiaotong University, University of Louisville, IEEE, IEEE Computer Society (CS), IEEE CS Technical Committee on Simulation. With the continuous development of blockchain technology, more and more blockchain projects use semi-distributed P2P network structures. Although original gossip algorithm can be devoted to data synchronization in semi-distributed blockchain network, it can not be well applied to actual network environment. Since the probability of selecting a target node during data synchronization is fixed, it is inevitable that a message can be sent to a duplicate node. It will not only cause a lot of redundant messages, but also bring inefficient data synchronization. To address this problem, this paper proposes an improved HNA-Gossip algorithm which can reduce the probability of selecting duplicate nodes to send messages by recording historical node information dynamically. The simulation results show that, compared with the original gossip algorithm, various aspects of HNA-Gossip algorithm perform better.

cyber group event is one of the vital objects of cyber information content management. The study of user influence in cyber group events is of great significance to the analysis of user responsibility and the management of cyberspace. Aiming at the problem that the user influence rank algorithms existing in current research do not apply to cyber group events, this paper proposes a user influence rank algorithm based on interaction behaviors (IB-UIR) to measure users' influence in cyber group events. Based on PageRank, the IB-UIR algorithm comprehensively considers users' behaviors and the time interval between behaviors and calculates user influence iteratively in the user interaction network. Based on the real Sina Weibo data, experimental results show that the IB-UIR algorithm can effectively calculate users' actual influence in cyber group events, and it outperforms other related algorithms in the coverage, precision, recall, and F1-measure.

This technique of mesh generation is based on advance and researched quad tree approach which makes use of mathematical technique of variance for selecting quad size and further triangulate the quad for final mesh of image and later filtering of vertices is done as per mapping based on robotic model. Object identification based on Bayesian statistical and probability theorem is used to estimate the foreground object for getting selective object within image for mesh generation. This paper explains estimation algorithm for object identification by detecting background and foreground objects in image obtained from raw video frame@30fps supporting sampling format 4:2:0. This algorithm is implemented tested and verified on and written for android based ARM system and x86 system. Video frame is live captured in .mp4 file format using aac/avc (H264) audio and video codec. Video is decoded and sub sampled and scaled using ffmeg framework to desired frame size and frame format for video processing using Open source based framework integrated into propriety application. This algorithm can be applied for various applications including applications in defense/artificial intelligence and medical imaging.

Internet of Things (IoT) is a trending paradigm that more and more devices are connected nowadays. However, although the massive IoT devices have been the infrastructure everywhere, the utilization of these devices is still challenging, especially when interacting with multiple devices in a dynamic distributed IoT environment. In this paper, a novel interaction model named UnIEM is proposed to allow distributed User Interfaces to be dynamically configured on several IoT devices based on user preferences. The proposed model is implemented on the operating system named HarmonyOS to utilize the native distributed processing support. A video migration demo application is developed to validate the proposed model. The eventual work can assist the developers to develop IoT applications with various different devices and interaction strategies with dynamic re-configurations in run-time.

The growing volume of credit card and personal loan applications has spurred the need for financial institutions to improve their credit scoring methods to make intelligent decisions. In this paper, we introduce a novel credit scoring framework based on transaction sequence classification. This framework involves a CNN-based structure for sequential feature extraction. It can be applied to both raw transaction sequences and feature matrixes aggregated by time window to capture short-term and long-term sequential features. Other non-sequential personal features are also integrated to the model to help making the final decision. In the experiments, evaluations on the performance of model-based, feature-based sequence classification and the whole framework are done respectively. Our sequence classification method as well as the credit scoring framework outperforms other state-of-art methods in the experiments on real-world labelled application and transaction data from a major payment organization.

With the rapid expansion of IoT, data collected by sensors and intelligent devices has a great value to Big Data analysis. However, privacy leakage is becoming one of most challenging concerns in information collection, sharing or analysis, and threatening the security of information economy such as data as a service. In this paper, we focused on the dynamic changes of the relationship of resource-constrained data suppliers and demanders, and proposed a hierarchical key management scheme with multilevel secure access (ML-HKM) based on Elliptic Curve Discrete Logarithm Problem. We present the system operations including setup, update, join and revoke to securely obtain the data encryption key and the multilevel mapping method to enhance the network extensible. At last, the scheme is analysed in correctness and security which indicates it is both forward secrecy and backward secrecy.
