The integration of Design for Testability measures is strictly required when designing complex Integrated Circuits (ICs) to ensure that a good testability prevails in the resulting design. By this, a high-quality manufacturing test can be performed, giving a certain level of confidence that no defects have occurred during the manufacturing process, which potentially tamper with the functional behavior's correctness. However, a high-quality test implies large test data volume and high test application time, yielding high test costs. This effect is even more amplified when testing ICs for safety-critical applications like automotive systems or avionics, enforcing a zero-defect policy. Analogously, specific structures for the Design for Debug and Diagnosis are introduced since similar problems exist when debugging complex systems. Finally, the Design for Reliability is becoming increasingly important in applications like avionics since the introduced system has typically to deal with harsh environmental conditions and, hence, the IC has to exhibit a specific level of robustness to withstand. This paper proposes novel contributions to, in the end, pave the way for the next generation of IC, which can be successfully and reliably integrated even in safety-critical applications. In particular, this paper combines formal techniques, such as the Boolean satisfiability problem and bounded model checking, to propose (I) a novel test access mechanism with embedded compression including an optimization-based retargeting framework, (II) a new hybrid compression architecture to address compression aborts and (II) an effective fault detection mechanism for single transient faults. The proposed measures are evaluated by considering industrial-relevant benchmark candidates, demonstrating their effectiveness and showing that stateof-the-art techniques are outperformed.

The purpose of this research paper is to enhance the effectiveness of document summarization by integrating advanced deep learning methodologies into the process. In this study, neural networks, attention mechanisms, transformer-based models, and attention mechanisms are investigated in light of both single and multiple document scenarios. This paper provides valuable insights into how well these approaches work in producing concise and informative summaries by conducting comprehensive experiments and evaluations. As part of this paper, an innovative approach is introduced to document summarization by combining the strengths of Ensemble RNNs and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks. Having to summarize multiple documents at the same time is challenging. A nuanced approach is required to accomplish this task. The proposed method utilizes the power of RNN-LSTM networks in order to capture long-range dependencies and contextual information and then enhances this data by utilizing Ensemble techniques so that summarizing performance is improved. To demonstrate our approach's effectiveness, we conduct comprehensive experiments and evaluations on a variety of datasets. According to the results of this study, the Ensemble LSTM-based hybrid summarization technique achieves superior results when compared to individual LSTM models, setting a new standard in document summarization for single or multiple documents. In addition to contributing significantly to the advancement of document summarization, this research provides valuable insights for practical applications in information retrieval and knowledge extraction that could be applied in the future. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Artificial intelligence (AI) in homestays could improve the tourist experience and operational efficiency. This article proposes a comprehensive conceptual framework for AI in homestays, encompassing visitor experience enhancement, personalized suggestions, predictive analytics, inventory management, maintenance scheduling, and data analytics. AI algorithms allow homestay owners to make personalized recommendations for activities, local sights, and meals. AI-powered home automation systems let guests customize lighting, temperature, and entertainment. AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants help visitors with questions and requests. Predictive analytics models help operators optimize pricing, estimate demand, and allocate resources, improving revenue management and operational efficiency. AI-based inventory management systems optimize inventory levels, reduce waste, and ensure supplies. Proactive maintenance using AI lowers downtime and enhances the visitor experience. AI-enabled data analytics systems measure occupancy rates, revenue, and visitor satisfaction in real time for informed decision-making and ongoing development. AI in homestays must handle ethical issues including openness, fairness, and accountability, as well as privacy and data security. Cost, technological knowledge, and user approval are other challenges. This article concludes that AI technology in homestays can improve tourist experiences and operational efficiency. Future research should address ethical, privacy, and implementation issues to fully fulfill AI's transformational potential in homestays. © 2023 IEEE.

The hand gesture-based Computer Screen Control approach has had a lot of popularity in these years. This article examines recent advancements in hand gesture recognition technology and its applications across diverse fields such as gaming, robotics, virtual reality, and sign language recognition. The challenges encountered by researchers in developing precise and dependable gesture recognition systems by considering variability in hand shapes, varying lighting conditions, and occlusion, are explored. The document offers an overview of different methodologies and techniques employed in gesture recognition and computer screen control. Effective question-answering is crucial for applications involving natural language processing such as conversational artificial systems. The pre-trained BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) model achieved outstanding results on the Stanford Question Answering dataset (SQuAD), a well-known benchmark for question answering tasks. The three different BERT models (BERT-base, BERT-large, DistilBERT) are pre-trained on general text corpus. These BERT models are trained to identify the right context in a paragraph to give answers. Further, fine-tuning the models with few-shot learning on domain related questions and answers improves the performance. Hence, our work proposes different strategies to improve the performance of BERT models on tasks requiring domain-specific question-answering tasks using a customized SQuAD dataset. Our work highlights the significance of optimizing the BERT models on domain-specific data for enhanced performance in particular tasks. The results of this study have implications for domain-specific knowledge in natural language processing. With a score of 0.9632, the BERT-Large model has the best accuracy out of all the BERT models tested. The performance of the BERT-Large model consistently beats that of the other models in several parameters, including precision, recall, and F1 score. © 2023 IEEE.

We propose a framework that leverages product CAD models and domain randomization techniques to generate training data via simulators, enabling the training and fine-tuning of object detection networks entirely on synthetic data for real-world deployment. This framework is tailored for product assembly and intelligent manufacturing, where automation and time efficiency are critical. Focusing on assembly state detection and object pose estimation tasks, we also analyze the impact of multiple Domain Randomization (DR) variables and measure the time consumption across configurations. Experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and necessity of using mature simulators to address current challenges associated with the resource-intensive nature of data collection and annotation.

This project explores the integration of creative robotics with artistic expression through the development of a dancing robot series, focusing on a robotic arm that performs waving hand movements in sync with different types of music. Utilizing Arduino for hardware control and Python for programming, the project bridges the gap between mechanical precision and creative performance. The methodology includes designing and assembling the robotic arm, selecting appropriate sensors and actuators, and programming responsive dance movements triggered by auditory cues. The Arduino Uno, paired with an LM386 sound sensor, was chosen for its cost-effectiveness and ease of use, while MG90S servo motors enabled smoother, dynamic movements. Challenges included fine-tuning sound detection and optimizing motor control for fluid motion, which were addressed by adjusting sensor sensitivity and refining data processing. The findings demonstrate the successful creation of a robot that performs distinct waving movements based on music genres, showcasing the potential of creative robotics in merging technology with art, and highlighting the effectiveness of Arduino and Python in developing responsive, interactive systems. Future improvements could involve enhancing sound recognition accuracy and expanding the robot’s repertoire of dance moves with more advanced hardware and coding techniques. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

knowledge is an organizational intangible asset it describes organizational core value. knowledge defines in individual and organizational artefact. Indonesia began assessing e-government implementation in 2018 and faced various problems and challenges which can be solved by skill and experience in e-government implementation. This research aimed to identify knowledge requirements of e-government implementation in Indonesia and divided it into 4 domains. A mixed methods approach was used to discover some findings related to the required knowledge. Content analysis is used to codify the knowledge require based on the regulation. Then, correspondence analysis is used to analyze the contingency value of each knowledge and domain. The result shows there are 75 knowledge required for e-Government implementation which is divided into 4 domains. BIPLOT diagram represents the association and similarity between each knowledge and the domain. © 2022 IEEE.

The research on ultra-high voltage AC/DC transmission systems with large-scale renewable energy generation (REG) has become a hot topic of widespread concern in the industry, the anti-seismic level of UHV AC/DC electrical equipment has always been concerned by users and anufacturers. Through seismic test of the equipment, the basic data such as the natural frequency, acceleration of key parts and strain response of the equipment can be obtained, which is of great significance to discover the potential defects of the equipment and improve its seismic level. This paper analyzes the characteristics of typical seismic structures of electrical equipment and requirements of relevant test standards. According to the parameters and structural system characteristics of seismic sensitive equipment, and considering the manufacturing capacity of seismic table and standard requirements, a UHV AC/DC dual array seismic test platform is designed. In addition, this paper also gives a brief description of the requirements related to civil engineering and electromechanical design of the seismic laboratory, which can be used as a reference for those engaged in relevant test research and laboratory design. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2023.
