Interactions between people and automation depend heavily on human confidence in the latter. Lack of trust can cause people to not use automation, while too much trust can cause them to put their faith in a flawed autonomous system, which could have detrimental effects on them. Transparency and trust in automation are vital for the usefulness and security of human-robotization frameworks. The majority of the research that has been done on the trust that human operators have in robotics and automation has been an ongoing variable that has received little attention. paid to how trust changes over time. In order to fill this research void, we offer a study that examines how trust is dynamic. Using real-time trust measurements, we first discovered options to quantify trust of entirety, which we described as a metric that considers trust throughout the entire human-automation interaction experience. In this study, a feedback control strategy for powerfully changing mechanization straightforwardness and transparency concurring on client trust is analysed. The proposed approach tweaks mechanical way of behaving and correspondence by incorporating an input control component with a trust assessment model. The adequacy of the feedback control framework in improving errand execution and trust adjustment under different levels of computerization straightforwardness and transparency is checked utilizing MATLAB reenactments. © 2025 IEEE.

In the process of modeling and solving large-scale complex systems, issues with complex state structures and low computational efficiency are often *** partially observable discrete event systems, this paper proposes a method that utilizes state tree structures for modeling and analyzes global behavior through local *** demonstrates the existence of non-blocking, weakly controllable coreachable and observable (WCCO) subpredicates and their solving *** order to effectively represent these complex system states, the paper employs the use of Binary Decision Diagrams (BDD), which are capable of compactly and efficiently representing state tree *** feasibility of the proposed algorithm is verified through practical examples, showing that the algorithm exhibits higher fault tolerance and flexibility in handling complex systems, enabling the development of more forgiving control *** not only enhances the stability and reliability of the system but also provides new solutions for supervisory control in practical engineering applications. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). In order to create spaces that are secure, cozy, energy-efficient, and visually beautiful, smart buildings are becoming more and more sophisticated cyber-physical systems. However, as functional complexity, financial concerns, and market demands increase, traditional design methodologies are becoming less effective. Current framework's plan and activity have been totally changed by the presentation of automated smart building, which ensures expanded security, better inhabitant solace, and energy effectiveness. With an emphasis on MATLAB-based reproductions, this study offers a careful assessment of the plan interaction and improvement procedures for computerizing savvy structures. The study delineates how MATLAB makes it simpler to depict, reproduce, and investigate savvy building frameworks with certainty. Through the mix of numerous advancements, like sensors, regulators, and correspondence conventions, the research shows the turn of events and check of a mechanized smart building framework. The intelligent building's building automation system prioritizes a humanized interface and uses a combination of mechanical, electrical, and fire control systems, access control systems, and parking management systems to give building occupants a convenient and comfortable place to live and work. The discoveries show prominent additions in functional viability, natural adaptability, and energy utilization. The conventional heuristic and ad hoc design paradigms are becoming ineffective and inadequate for the future due to cost, the requirement to handle growing functional complexity, adaptability, supply chain fragmentation, and time-to-market pressure. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper describes the newly developed enhanced wearable protection system specifically developed to help protect the lives of coal miners by constantly assessing essential environmental/Fitness parameters. This advanced system uses multiple sensors to detect gas concentrations, temperature, humidity, dirt, heart rate, BP, and falls. It also has an emergency button for the alarm indicators as well. Sub-GHz RF technology permits long-range communication in an underground way. The effectiveness and efficiency of this system has been established through simulation, making it a dependable solution for underground protection control. © 2025 IEEE.

To solve the problem of insufficient robustness and constraint in the positioning control of overhead cranes, an improved model predictive control scheme combined with disturbance compensation is proposed. Firstly, a mathematical model of the overhead crane is established, and disturbances are estimated using an extended state observer. Next, the estimated disturbance values are compensated in the predictive model, and finally, the optimization control of the system is achieved. This method enhances the robustness of standard model predictive control through both active and passive compensation, ensuring that the predefined constraints are still satisfied after disturbance compensation. Simulation results demonstrate that under external disturbances, the proposed method effectively compensates for the disturbances in the overhead crane system while ensuring that control constraints are satisfied at all times. Additionally, it addresses actuator saturation issues, thereby guaranteeing the system’s operational performance. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

This paper presents a novel approach for air pollution monitoring using Photonic Crystal Fiber (PCF) with unique optical properties. Through Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations in COMSOL, the study explores how the PCF's guiding characteristics are influenced by its geometric parameters at different wavelengths. The sensor, designed for enhanced sensitivity, selectivity, and fast response, focuses on detecting air pollutants. A microstructured core in the PCF enhances light-matter interaction, improving sensor performance. The optimized PCF structure ensures effective light confinement, enabling precise detection of environmental changes like temperature and refractive index variations. The results have significant potential for telecommunications, biomedicine, and environmental monitoring applications, contributing to advanced air pollution control technologies. © 2025 IEEE.

In this paper, a comparative study of conventional LQR controller, optimized PID controller and intelligent Fuzzy logic controller is demonstrated while achieving the desired pitch axis trajectories of a 2-DOF helicopter system. During this process, TLBO optimized PID controller is used to track down the trajectory angle of pitch axis of helicopter system and this performance is compared with inference rules of fuzzy system and a conventional LQR controller. The membership function parameters, exploration - exploitation scheme of optimization algorithm are discussed while addressing the problem of trajectory tracking. The parameter tuning and stable response of pitch axis of helicopter model is achieved on MATLAB/Simulink platform, on which the comparison is accomplished through time response analysis. © 2025 IEEE.

As modern retail processes are rapidly developing;inventory management becomes one of the key factors affecting the client's needs and business competitiveness. The merchandising concept of product accessibility on the shelves contributes significantly to customers' attitude and the retailer patronage. But the conventional methods of tracking inventories are inadequate in responding to the challenges of the dynamic retail setting thereby leading to problem such as stock-out and ineffective restocking. To address these challenges, this system harnesses the state-of-the-art YOLO algorithm to transform inventory control. By observing live camera feeds within stores, it predicts available shelf spaces, which list the products that are either low or out of stock in the store. In this continuous shelf monitoring perspective, one can easily anticipate shelf items which are running low so that immediate action for restocking is awakened. It also eradicating the feelings made by customers whenever they are faced with scenarios, such as having to walk past shelves that have no products. Moreover, it helps store personnel actively and accurately replenish all stock, making products available at all times thanks to notifications. © 2025 IEEE.
