In the current age of Information technology and Smart systems, where data is the new oil, it has become highly crucial to effectively store and share any sort of digital data. In recent years the high volumes of Medical Health Data have been under the data breaches by the third parties in the current centralized storage systems, raising concerns for patient data privacy and also the inconvenience for patients to access their own Health records. Blockchain technology with the integration of cloud storage for medical records provides enhanced security of data over the network through the immutable nature of blocks in blockchain and an effective decentralized storage system can be achieved by cloud computing. The model discussed in this paper gives the architecture and implementation of Medical Health Records systems secured through Blockchain and cloud technologies with various tools used. The working prototype which has been implemented is discussed with the demonstration of accessing and sharing of medical data by the patients with the doctors and insurance agencies. The proposed system meets the requirements of patient data privacy by giving greater control of medical data to patients. © 2023 IEEE.

The single-photon nature and the purity of emitted photons from a light source can be quantified using the second-order correlation function, g(2)(τ). Here, we present simulation results that show how the photon coincidence time window, a characteristic of the utilized photodetection system, affects g(2)(0) for dummy photon timestamps digitally generated at constant emission rates. We use a two-channel virtual interferometer with a beam splitter controlled by a uniform random number selection. We find that g(2)(0) remarkably and quickly squeezes towards the maximum value of a chaotic light photon correlation as the coincidence time window widens. In contrast, tuning the coincidence time window close to the emitter emission decay time yields a coincidence probability of slightly less than one, an antibunching property of light. These simulation findings can participate in improving measurements of quantum light emitters' coherence functions and revealing the degree of their photon emission purity. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to solve the safety problems caused by the vehicles collision on the highway, an automatic controller is proposed based on the artificial potential field (APF) method and the model predictive control (MPC) theory to keep the automatic driving vehicles collision-free. Firstly, in the path planning, the road potential field is constructed to satisfy the constraints of vehicle safe driving based on the driving characteristics of vehicles and road boundary conditions. Secondly, according to the shape of the obstacle vehicle in the study, the obstacle vehicle potential field is established. Finally, in order to ensure that the vehicle can drive along the planned path in a stable and safe manner, this paper combines the MPC and vehicle dynamics to design the path tracking module. Then the designed automatic controller is verified on the Carsim-Simulink joint simulation platform based on the obstacle vehicle uniform speed and acceleration test scenarios. The results show that the automatic controller enables road vehicles to safely avoid dynamic obstacle vehicles by updating design parameters in real time to adapt to the changing environment while satisfying environmental constraints and vehicle stability. © 2023 IEEE.

Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) are going to be used in this study with the intention of achieving the objective of optimising the resource allocation and interference control of vehicle radar systems. Because contemporary automobiles depend heavily on radar technology for both their safety and their capacity to engage in autonomous driving, reliability is an essential characteristic of vehicular radar systems. Despite this, there is an increasing amount of congestion in the electromagnetic spectrum, which makes it more difficult for radar systems to perform their functions. Utilising DNNs as a tool for resource allocation is a method that shifts the paradigm by optimising accuracy, efficiency, and flexibility to the fullest extent possible. For the purpose of this study, a comprehensive review of the existing literature on a variety of topics, including smart grids, the energy harvesting potential of wireless networks, and the use of DNNs in automobile radar systems, is carried out. The article presents a comprehensive review of smart grids and coordinated multi-point communication, with the primary emphasis being placed on collaborative energy use and communication. This article investigates the fundamental ideas behind DNNs, as well as their applications, advantages, and challenges when applied to automobile radar systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Memory with multiple ports is widely employed in numerous domains, especially for parallel computations that require rapidity and efficiency. Conventional SRAM-based memory modules encounter constraints on performance and flexibility, including the need to handle a multitude of write inputs and read outputs. Standard cell-based memory, in contrast, provides greater parameterization and flexibility. However, current tools encounter difficulties in constructing these memories as a result of intricate circuitry and a lack of understanding regarding the regular structure of these arrays. This may occasionally lead to an inability to converge under specific circumstances. New techniques for the physical and logical implementation of many-ported standard cell memory (MPSCMs) are introduced in this study. It is suggested that the traditional design process be substituted with two discrete methodologies that offer direction and control to design tools in order to improve the performance, area utilisation, and power efficiency of these memory arrays. An assessment and evaluation process was undertaken on MPSCM macros of different dimensions utilising a commercial 65 nm CMOS technology. These macros were compared to their equivalents that were developed employing conventional and cutting-edge techniques. © 2024 IEEE.

This research study proposes a novel system that integrates Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) with cloud-based platforms to efficiently generate renewable energy and produce clean fuel. By enhancing the safety, efficiency, and reliability of solar power and hydrogen generation, the system integrates optimization strategies, data analysis, and real-time monitoring. Critical parameters such as temperature, sun irradiance, electrolysis efficiency, and hydrogen purity are monitored using WSNs, with data transmitted and processed via cloud techniques to identify patterns, outliers, and areas for improvement. Proactive decision-making and rapid adjustments are facilitated through remote monitoring and control capabilities, leading to maximized energy production and clean fuel output. Security measures including encryption, access controls, and regular audits safeguard data privacy and integrity, while multiple sensor deployments, robust communication protocols, and a resilient cloud infrastructure ensure system reliability. This integrated approach offers an effective solution for advancing renewable energy generation and clean fuel production, contributing to environmental sustainability and a greener future. © 2024 IEEE.

The reliability of an electrical system depends on layered Protection, Automation, and control (PAC) functions in which differential relays are considered a fundamental method to isolate the problem. By having a PAC architecture with functionality independent of hardware we hypothesize that the life cycle of PAC devices can be extended by using modern, powerful, and highly reconfigurable IoT devices. This can be achieved by applying modularity to hardware architecture, where an IoT device can be considered a mezzanine module. The Raspberry Pi and BeagleBone manufacturers are keeping the hardware the same size while constantly increasing its power. However, it is not clear how powerful the IoT device should be to meet some of the IEC 61850 requirements (which are usually included in PAC).In this article, we provide a step-by-step process for designing a system that mimics a single-phase transformer differential protection system. First, we provide a requirements analysis (Sampled Values rate, traffic synchronization, reaction time, etc.). Then we analyze the BeagleBone Black device (BBB). We give an example of an electrical system and finally analyze, in terms of IEC 61850 requirements, the performance of two software applications developed for the BBB (based on the operating system and on bare metal). © 2023 IEEE.

Computer vision researchers have been tasked with developing applications to recognize the human body's structure, movements, and tracking. Recognizing human upper limb movements has brought benefits in physical therapy, virtual reality, human-robot systems, sports. This paper presents a multi-layer perceptron (MLP) artificial neural network (ANN) designed to recognize the upper limb movements performance in daily life tasks. For this, inertial measurement units (IMU) were employed to acquire information regarding of the upper limb movement. The performance of the model was assessed through a confusion matrix and the receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curves. Recognition accuracy obtained for the ANN model was 97.39%, the mean area under the curve (AUC) of the ROC curves was 0.973. According to the results, the proposed ANN could recognize upper limb movements in daily life tasks. Further research is suggested to test the model with fine movements. © 2022 IEEE.

This study presents a comparative analysis of Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) and Value of Interest Look-Up Table (VOI LUT) as preprocessing methods for enhancing mammogram contrast to improve tumor detection. Using a dataset of 928 mammograms (464 BI-RADS 1 and 464 BI-RADS 4 and 5), we evaluated the performance of these methods in detecting tumors by extracting texture features using the Gray-Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) and classifying them with a Support Vector Machine (SVM). The results indicate that CLAHE slightly outperforms VOI LUT, with classification metrics showing precision, recall, F1-score, and accuracy of 0.57 for CLAHE compared to 0.55 for VOI LUT. These findings suggest that CLAHE may be more effective in enhancing mammogram textures, thereby improving the detection and classification of breast tumors. Future work should explore additional preprocessing techniques and classification algorithms to further validate and improve these results.

The integration of visuotactile sensor technology with endoscopy enables the provision of tactile information for minimally invasive surgeries and other operations. This paper proposes a real-time sensing framework for contact deformation pattern shape, providing a foundation for precise perception in miniaturized visuotactile sensors. Specifically, we first construct a Deformation Pattern shape Descriptor (DPSD) and then track the key points in the descriptor using optical flow to obtain contact deformation shape information. Through extensive qualitative and quantitative experiments, our proposed algorithm achieves an average perception accuracy of around 83.81% for contact pattern shapes. It demonstrates consistent perception accuracy across various contact force magnitudes, directions, and scenarios, highlighting its robustness. Additionally, compared to traditional marker-level methods, it achieves a notable 46.5% improvement in displacement field perception accuracy. This research elevates tactile perception to the dimension of contact pattern shape sensing and has the potential for application in miniaturized visual tactile sensors. © 2024 IEEE.
