Through the use of a combination Convolutional neural network, also known as CNN, and a Support Vector Machine (SVM) model, this investigation tackles the significant problem of Brown Rot intensity in the leaves of orange. A detailed assessment of the model's effectiveness over a variety of severity levels is presented in this paper. The assessment makes use of precision, recall, F1-score, and overall accuracy measures. Based on the findings, it seems that the model is successful in properly assessing the degree of brown rot infection in orange leaves. In terms of severity level 1, the model obtains a precision of 95%, a recall of 97%, and an F1-score of 96%, resulting in an overall accuracy of 97%. A precision of 94%, a recall of 96%, and an F1-score of 95% are all shown by severity level 2 in terms of accuracy. A reliability rating of 97%, a recall of 93%, and an F1-score of 94.5% are all shown by the model when it is applied to severity level 3. An accuracy of 96%, a recall of 98%, and an amazing F1-score of 97% are all shown by the severity level 4, which is the most severe level. It has been observed that the overall accuracy across all severity levels amounts to 97%. These results provide further evidence that the hybrid CNN-SVM model is effective in accurately classifying the severity of Brown Rot, hence emphasizing the potential of the method for usage in agriculture precision and making crops lifehealthy disease control. © 2024 IEEE.

Arrhythmia is a condition that causes the heart to beat irregularly. It indicates that the heart beats at infrequent intervals. electrical pulses that pass through the heart regulate the rate at which it beats. These signals are transmitted via the sinoatrial (SA) node in the heart, which acts as a natural pacemaker. If these electrical messages do not work properly, it may cause heart problems. In recent years, an increasing number of people have been diagnosed with this illness. The prevalence of cardiac arrhythmias in the general population is difficult to estimate. Because cardiac arrhythmias occur in discrete episodes, traditional diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiography (ECG), which takes only a few seconds to record, are unable to identify them. Deep learning (DL) is presently being researched in a range of domains, including healthcare, where the timely detection of irregularities on an electrocardiogram (ECG) might be critical for keeping a patient under control. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the most recent DL algorithms used to classify the ECG data. © 2023 IEEE.

Continuing the study of the influence of Space Weather conditions on radio communications in Mexico accomplished for 17 days of the spring of 2020, results of a longer campaign and around autumn of 2021 are analyzed in this paper. The length of the study and the number and variety of people collaborating in its development turn this new experiment into a remarkable event of citizen science. While the Space Weather conditions of the study in 2020 corresponded to an early stage of the Cycle 25 characterized by a very low level of solar activity, in the 77 days of the new observation period, 8 M class and 1 X class Solar Flares and 17 Coronal Mass Ejections took place. In addition, Coronal Holes were present in 50 days. This significant activity originated 2 G1, 1 G2 and 2 G3 geomagnetic storms and increased the scientific interest of the survey. This article includes a short explanation of the main solar phenomena affecting Space Weather and their presence in the survey followed by the description of the main variations of radio signals recorded by radio ham operators of the National Emergency Network in Mexico, at 7.120 MHz (40 m band) and 3.720 MHz (80 m band) frequencies. According to the records, the first band seems to present better response to propagation conditions than the second one during the experiment period, but a larger amount of observations are necessary to confirm this result. © 2022 IEEE.

Under the influence of the novel coronavirus epidemic, it is very important to strengthen the prevention and control of nosocomial infection. In order to effectively reduce the possibility of cross-infection, reduce the work burden of medical personnel, and prevent medical personnel from being exposed to risky environments, this paper proposes a design scheme of intelligent drug delivery car. This design uses the STM32F103RCT6 chip as the main control chip of the drug delivery car, and uses the V831 AI chip of Quanzhi Technology Company for digital recognition and automatic path finding. The angle of the car is obtained in real-time through the MPU6050 three-axis gyroscope, and the real-time speed of the car is obtained through the Hall sensor, achieving the positioning of the car and intelligent transportation of drugs. Finally, multiple car collaborative transportation functions are achieved through the communication module. With the help of the Python framework and the YOLOv5 object detection algorithm, the model is trained by inputting pre-processed training set data. Then, the model is cropped and quantified, and the YOLOv5 algorithm's decode solution code is written on V831. Finally, the predicted results of the model, which are the numbers to be recognized, are obtained. The resulting data is sent to the main control chip for digital recognition. © 2023 IEEE.

Time delay estimation using fixed-time terminal sliding mode control (TDEFxSMC) for unknown nonlinear systems with uncertainty and external disturbances is presented in this study. Firstly, the notion of fixed-time terminal sliding mode control (FxSMC) is outlined and thoroughly examined. Using the FxSMC scheme, nonsingular fixed-time control, non-chatter control inputs, and high performance tracking positions have been achieved. To estimate the unknown dynamics, proposed method incorporates a TDE scheme. The Lyapunov theorem is applied to find whether the proposed system can achieve its stability in a fixed-time. The effectiveness of the suggested method is evaluated and demonstrated by presenting the results of the proposed method implemented to the nonlinear robot dynamics. © 2024 IEEE.

IoT has become a magnet in today's cyber world. In the past, household devices were still operated manually, but now they can connect to the internet. The advantage is that house residents can easily monitor and control their devices. With so many IoT devices, it will be more attractive for hackers to take them. There are lots of valuable assets on IoT devices that must be secured. One of them is data from these IoT devices. IoT hardware limitations are the main problem when carrying out a comprehensive data security process. The high computational load to perform this task cannot be adequately accommodated by IoT devices. Through this paper, we propose a clustering system based on the moth flame optimization algorithm to ease the performance of IoT hardware in securing each data. This method is efficient enough to reduce the computational load handled by the RAM and IoT processor. It is open to further improvement to get an end-to-end IoT security system and low computing load. © 2023 IEEE.

This research explores the development of a resilient microgrid architecture specifically tailored for disaster-prone areas, with a primary focus on the integration of renewable energy sources. The escalating frequency of natural disasters, compounded by the vulnerabilities of traditional power systems, underscores the imperative for more resilient and sustainable energy solutions. This study presents a comprehensive design methodology that encompasses the use of solar photovoltaics (PV), wind turbines, and battery storage systems, aiming to enhance the microgrid's reliability, sustainability, and adaptability in the face of catastrophic events. Through rigorous simulation and optimization techniques, the proposed design is evaluated against a set of resilience metrics, including the microgrid's ability to maintain critical loads operational during and after disaster scenarios, its recovery time, and its overall environmental impact. The findings indicate that the integration of renewable energy sources, coupled with advanced control strategies, significantly improves the microgrid's robustness and self-sufficiency, thereby reducing reliance on external power supplies and minimizing recovery times. Additionally, the environmental analysis reveals a substantial reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with global sustainability goals. This study contributes to the burgeoning field of resilient energy systems by providing a viable framework for the deployment of renewable energy-powered microgrids in regions susceptible to natural disasters. © 2024 IEEE.

Implementation of the Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Grid-to-Vehicle (G2V) capabilities in electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) is crucial for supporting grid balance and improving the energy consumption. However, the conventional techniques of optimizing this problem are unlikely to accurately transfer energy to between the GRID and EVs, causing poor load regulation and high expenses in operation. In efforts to solve these challenges, this paper introduces the Giant Trevally Optimization (GTO) algorithm that ushers in efficiency in the V2G and G2V processes of the EV charging stations. Thus, the fundamental goal of the proposed method is to minimize charging time, strengthen the power stability and optimize the efficiency of the operation in the EV charging processes. The GTO algorithm is applied to control energy exchange in V2G and G2V transactions seeking to achieve efficient charging /discharging timetable in a manner that can prevent high costs as well as instabilities in the electric grid. By then, the proposed GTO approach in implemented on MATLAB platform and evaluate their performance with various existing methods include Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA), Grey Wolf Optimization Algorithm (GWO), Fuzzy Logic-Based Optimization (FLO) and Teaching-Learning-Based Optimization (TLBO). The Gesturing Trade Off method is proposed in this work and it has an operating cost of $2628.12 conclusively showing that the proposed method is cost effective. Compared to the current optimization techniques, the proposed GTO method yields a settling time of 0.52s, a rising time of 0.25s, and marginal overshoot of only 0.8% meaning that the adaptation of the proposed GTO method can improve the efficiency and response time of adaptive V2G and G2V controllers of EVCS. © 2024 IEEE.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an innovative technology that encompasses the connectivity of physical, intelligent objects to the Internet, enabling the collection, sharing and analysis of data. Currently regarded as one of the revolutionary technologies of the 21st century, the significant increase of IoT devices and the huge amount of data they produce at the network's edge has led to the Cloud computing (CC) paradigm being over-loaded. Consequently, new computing paradigms are emerging, such as Edge computing and Fog computing (FC). Although these paradigms offer different functionalities and improve Quality of Service (QoS), they also introduce huge risks in terms of data security and privacy. This paper presents a brief review on security in IoT environments based on Fog computing (FC) architecture, with particular attention to security measures such as authentication, confidentiality and data integrity. Furthermore, it addresses attacks targeting these measures, in order to avoid or reduce security issues in Fog computing-IoT environments.

In this study, Fuzzy-logic based Proportional-Integral-Derivative controller with filter (F-PID-N) is recommended in the Load Frequency control loop to regulate the frequency of a two-area, multi-source power-system. Since, now-a-days the load demand increases exponentially, renewable energy sources are chosen as the best alternatives to meet the desired load demand. Hence here solar unit is added in both the areas with the conventional hydro-thermal system and the whole system is considered for the study of dynamic stability. The above controller is proved to be superior by comparing it's result with that of PID controller. The controller gains are obtained through the efficient Wild-Goat-Algorithm (WGA). For the conduction of the experiment, 1 % load variation is inserted in the area-1 of the system taken for the study. Further Capacitive Energy Storage device is used as the energy storage system (ESS) to reduce the frequency and tie-line power excursion. The robustness of the proposed controller is proved by varying the system parameters. © 2022 IEEE.
