Aiming at the problems of poor interpretability of traditional neural network and bloated traditional model in photovoltaic panel defect detection. Firstly, an FN-v8 model was proposed for detecting various types of defects in photovoltaic panels. The FN-v8 model reduces redundant computing and memory access, while also reducing the GFLOPs of the model. Then, Grad-CAM was used to further demonstrate the stronger interpretability of the new model through passive interpretation. Compared with other traditional models with relatively bulky structures, the proposed new model has smaller parameter quantities and stronger interpretability. Experiments were conducted on devices with the same performance and the same dataset of photovoltaic panel defects. The results showed that the proposed new model has a smaller volume, faster calculation speed, and higher accuracy than the original model. The GFLOPs of the new model have decreased by 18.25% compared to the original model, significantly reducing the computational complexity, and the visualization of the thermodynamic diagram is more accurate, further indicating an improvement in interpretability. Moreover, the new model has better detection accuracy for photovoltaic panel detection, with an average detection accuracy( mAP@0.5 )Improved by 2.1% compared to the original model. © 2023 SPIE.

This paper presents a novel design to remove stimulus artifacts from electromyographic signals under functional electrical stimulation (FES). This design combines Kalman filter (KF), Comb filter (COMB), and Generalized Extreme Studentized Deviate (GESD) algorithms, and its effectiveness is verified by filtering synthetic semi-simulated and real data. Experimental results show that in the signal processed by the KF-COMB-G algorithm, the stimulus artifacts caused by FES are well suppressed. The filtered signal has a higher correlation coefficient and signal-to-noise ratio, which highlights the good effect of this design in removing FES interference. In addition, the algorithm is simple to implement and has strong real-time performance, providing a new and effective method for artifact removal processing of electromyographic signals under FES conditions. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

As the application market of voltage source inverters is consistently expanding, new control technologies are also being explored. This article presents a novel PIR controller using the conventional controller as a point of comparison and validated by tests conducted in MATLAB, the results of which led to the conclusion that the PIR controller has superior performance when compared with the traditional PI controller, R controller, and PR controller. These controllers are tested on a voltage source inverter system. In contrast to the conventional controller, the PIR controller demonstrates extra control flexibility through the Bode diagram and offers enhanced steady-state tracking capability. The analysis and comparison show that the PI controller does not have good dynamic tracking performance and cannot suppress the unbalance of secondary AC pulsation. The new control approach suggested in this paper may be implemented in the system to improve the system's stability and dependability, increase the smoothness of the overall output, and assure the quality of the output. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The focus of this paper lies in the state estimation and control of switched neural networks (SNNs) under mode-dependent hybrid dwell time (MDHDT). First, a novel MDHDT switching machanism is constructed based on average dwell time (ADT) and mode-dependent average dwell time (MDADT). Then a mode-dependent time scheduler is designed by introducing fixed period and a mode-dependent maximum integer. Moreover, a stability criterion to guarantee the global uniform exponential stability (GUES) of the switched closed-loop system is given by constructing mode-dependent multiple Lyapunov function. As cities grow and populations rise, an increasing number of people are taking to the roads in their personal vehicles. However, traditional traffic systems are failing to cope with this change as the infrastructure has not kept pace with the growth. Therefore, Intelligent Traffic Signals(ITS) are becoming a crucial area of research in order to address this issue. This paper proposes an ITS that utilizes YOLO and DeepSORT to detect and track each vehicle, enabling the system to calculate the traffic density. This information is then fed into a Fuzzy Inference System that selects the appropriate mode of operation for the system. These modes include Normal mode (for typical traffic conditions), Priority mode (for high traffic conditions), and Emergency mode (for the presence of emergency vehicles). Normal and Priority modes can be further divided into two sub-modes to handle intermediate conditions. DQN is used to determine the appropriate phase of the signal based on the traffic density and the mode of operation selected by the Fuzzy Inference System. © 2023 IEEE.

With the advancement of dual-carbon goals, the construction of distributed energy is gradually accelerating. The traditional centralized information scheduling method deploys message processing work in the cloud, resulting in slow message processing speed and data transmission delay. At the same time, blockchain has irreplaceable advantages in value representation, data sharing and secure transmission. Edge computing improves data processing efficiency and reduces delay. Therefore, this paper proposes a distributed energy computing task allocation scheme based on blockchain and edge computing to ensure data security under the premise of improving data processing speed. The communication delay of the computing mode in this paper is about 12.3 less than that of the cloud computing mode, and the energy consumption is about 30.6 less. © 2022 IEEE.

The papuan black orchid is a beautiful plant that has a lot of fascination. For orchid cultivation, there are several aspects that need to be monitored, including the watering procedure. Referring to this, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based orchid watering device was built that utilizes a solar panel, solar charge control, microcontroller, Ardunio Mega 2560, soil moisture sensor, NodeMCU ESP8266, IRF520 Mosfet Module, 2596 Stepdown Module, LCD 16 x 2 Display, Mini Water Pump, Internet of Things (IOT), Blynk, and Ardunio IDE. The watering system is managed through the Blynk app's user interface. On the Blynk application, users can observe data from the soil moisture sensor shown as proportions. They can also set an average relay time of 5 seconds to define the watering interval. Additionally, the Blynk app gives facts about when the plants were last watered, helping users better handle and monitor plant conditions. With IoT technology, the Blynk app, and solar energy resources coupled with new renewable energy, this automatic watering gadget offers a cost-effective and eco-friendly means of taking care of plants. As long as the system is connected to the internet, Blynk can monitor it with an average latency of 20 seconds. The proposed model can save energy up to 85 percent. © 2023 IEEE.

Self-regulated learning is defined as the degree to which students are metacognitive, motivationally, and behaviorally active participants in their learning. Learning can be influenced and improved to achieve successful academic results. This article reviews the literature to analyze and compare learning self-regulation strategies to recommend learning objects in the context of a Virtual Learning Environment. The results serve to map the state of the art, main approaches, and characterizations of the topic of recommendation systems that use self-regulated learning strategies to support students’ academic performance;and to identify promising opportunities for future research on the topic. Indoor localization is important for robot navigation because it allows for robots to accurately determine their location and movement within a space. This is especially important for robots that are used in confined areas, like warehouses or homes, where there is not as much open space to navigate. Indoor localization gives robots the ability to plan their paths strategically and navigate around obstacles in a timely and efficient manner. Therefore, it is crucial for the indoor positioning system (IPS) to be stable and accurate. In this paper, we presented a fusion of non-complex filtering algorithms which combines Kalman filter with Moving Average (MA) filter in order to reduce localization error using Ultra-Wideband (UWB). The performance of the technique was measured against the conventional method of Kalman filtering, and it was found that the average error was reduced even more by the proposed strategy compared to the standard Kalman filtering approach. © 2023 IEEE.

Estimation of State of Charge (SOC) of the battery is an important part of battery design, and accurate power estimation is important to improve the efficiency of power equipment and the full utilization of batteries. In order to improve the accuracy and stability of Support Vector Regression (SVR) in SOC estimation, taking Improved Grey Wolf Algorithm (IGWO) to optimize SVR hyperparameters as an example, a process of finding the optimal SVR hyperparameter interval is established with the help of MATLAB automatic optimization, grid search and Occam's razor principle. Finally, after applying the IGWO-SVR model obtained from the optimized search interval to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Li-ion battery dataset for SOC prediction, the results show that the average error of the model after the optimized search interval is 1% on the test set, and the maximum error under different operating conditions is also minimized, which proves the good performance of the model in practical applications. © 2023 IEEE.
