This paper shows the possibility of implementing model predictive control algorithm as rate autopilot for guided aerial bomb. Mathematical model that is used for transfer function estimation and simulation of the bomb flight is presented. Transfer functions are estimated at different time instants during the flight. Model predictive controller and PID controller were designed for rate autopilots and simulation results are compared.

This paper designs a motion target control and automatic tracking system integrating both software and hardware, aimed at applications in communication engineering. The system consists of a main control module, a two-dimensional electric control gimbal, a vision recognition module, and a display module. The system adopts the STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller as the main control chip, utilizing the OpenMV vision module for image processing through color filtering and edge detection to obtain the coordinates of light spots and rectangles. A PID algorithm is employed to precisely adjust the servos, controlling the gimbal's rotation to achieve the motion of the laser pointer's light spot. The system successfully implements functions such as light spot motion, reset, and automatic tracking, accurately completing tasks within the specified time and demonstrating excellent robustness. Additionally, the system features a human-machine interaction interface, capable of displaying the light spot position information in real-time on an LCD screen. It exhibits superior performance and rapid response, making it suitable for various automatic tracking target applications within the field of communication engineering.
