India is the world's third largest producer and third largest consumer of electricity. Traditional billing systems in India lack real-time monitoring, making it difficult to address peak demand efficiently. They often lead to inaccurate billing due to manual readings. These systems do not incentivize offpeak consumption, hindering efforts to optimize energy usage. Embracing modern approaches like IoT and Time-of-Use pricing can enhance accuracy, promote energy efficiency, and also optimize energy consumption based on the demand requirement. To address the increasing energy demands and environmental concerns, the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, Time-of-Use (TOU) pricing strategies, and machine learning algorithms presents a transformative approach to revolutionize electric billing management. Developing a comprehensive system that combines real-time data acquisition through IoT devices with dynamic pricing based on TOU can optimize energy consumption patterns. Machine learning models are employed to analyze historical usage data, predict consumption patterns, and dynamically adjust pricing to incentivize efficient energy utilization. This aims to enhance user awareness, encourage responsible energy usage, and contribute to a sustainable and resilient energy ecosystem. © 2024 IEEE.

The magnetic coupler is a key component of the wireless power transfer (WPT) system, which greatly affects the performance of the WPT. This paper proposes a novel magnetic coupler with ferrite PQI cores for the WPT of small drones, which can enhance the magnetic coupling and improve power transfer efficiency. This magnetic coupler includes the transmitting (TX) side and receiving (RX) side. The TX side is made of a helical coil and a ferrite PQ core;and the RX side is made of a helical coil and a ferrite I core plate. Finite element simulations are used to investigate the performance of the proposed magnetic coupler with PQI cores, and compare it with a conventional planar magnetic coupler with two I core plates. In addition, an experimental platform is built to prove the validity of the proposed magnetic coupler with PQI cores. The results show that the coupling coefficient can reach 0.97, and it can exceed 0.446 even under the worst coupling conditions. Meanwhile, power transfer efficiency increases by 10.3% using the magnetic coupler with PQI cores. © 2024 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

In order to improve the maneuvering control ability at high angle of attack, this paper designs the commonly used thrust vector aircraft model. Based on the model, the longitudinal control law design of aircraft is studied by combining the dynamic inversion method with the incremental dynamic inversion method. This paper uses the dynamic inversion and incremental dynamic inversion method in the inner loop and outer loop of the model design of the new control system. Compared with the traditional dynamic inverse control method, the longitudinal control method proposed in this paper has better control performance and is more stable. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Flybys, in which a spacecraft approaches a celestial body for exploration, have attracted attention. In flybys, spacecraft trajectory calculations in an offline manner deteriorate the accuracy of tracking imaging due to uncertainties such as geometric parameters during spacecraft navigation. Therefore, vision-based relative trajectory measurement systems are commonly used to improve exploration accuracy. In recent years, however, high-speed flights requiring large maximum angular velocities have been planned, increasing the required target value tracking performance. In such missions, it is difficult to achieve the required performance by simple feedback control due to the effects of camera measurement errors and delay time. To improve the accuracy of flybys, it is effective to design a high-precision online trajectory estimaxtion based on the measured relative trajectories and a high-precision control system for the actuators. This paper proposes a trajectory estimation method based on an online autonomous imaging algorithm. The relative velocity between the spacecraft and the asteroid is estimated using the least-squares method. An accurate target trajectory is generated based on the relative velocity. The drive actuator of the imaging system is controlled to track the generated trajectories. The tracking accuracy of this system was evaluated in experiments using an experimental setup simulating a flyby exploration. © 2024 IEEE.

Closed-circuit television, or CCTV, is another name for video surveillance. It is a fast-expanding sector that has been around for more than 30 years and has seen many technological advancements. In the modern world, maintaining public safety now requires the use of video surveillance. One can define security. In a number of ways, depending on the situation, including danger of explosion, theft, violence, and so forth. In busy public spaces, "security" can refer to nearly any kind of unusual event. Depending on the user's preferences, intelligent video surveillance records unforeseen activities in homes, offices, and public spaces to provide state-of- the-art smart security. The video surveillance system will actively react to detect actions ahead of time through real-time monitoring and promptly communicate data in the event of an abnormal incident. The main focus is on the application of deep learning techniques to provide motion-activated night vision technology, high-definition picture quality, and tracking of a moving target. Additionally, the system is equipped with automatic audio and visual detection, video recording initiation, and detection of suspicious activities that can activate and alert the systems in any type of weather. The data processing model design aims to employ deep learning technology to visualize data for anomalous activities. It also suggests an intelligent surveillance system to promptly and efficiently identify activities by transmitting a video image and an alert message to the web through realtime processing. Advances in computer vision, especially in deep learning techniques, have created new avenues for these systems to explore, expanding their potential and stimulating new fields of study. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2024.

Although the speed of big data processing can be effectively improved through advanced infrastructure such as cloud computing and supercomputing and parallel distributed processing means, it is extremely important to seek an accurate and fast matching and retrieval algorithm for improving the order-preserving matching and retrieval accuracy of big data applications. This article is based on the DL (Deep Learning) big data order preserving matching and retrieval model. By implementing a layer by layer initialization strategy for encoding, the stack style self coding neural network is initialized, and the activation state of the hidden layer neural unit is used as input for the next level. The DBN (deep belief network) with RBM (Restricted Boltzmann Machine) as the basic unit is trained. Based on the distribution of text themes and image feature vectors, big data ordering matching and retrieval are achieved. The simulation results show that for the same random data series, with the increase of pattern length, the number of matching results will gradually decrease, and the proportion of similarity calculation time to the overall time of the algorithm will gradually decrease. In multi-data retrieval, the proposed method shows the trend of more data and higher accuracy, which has obvious advantages. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper solves the neural network (NN) tracking control problem for uncertain nonlinear servo system with time-varying parameters and uncertainties. To address the uncertain nonlinear function with unknown time-varying parameters (i.e., unknown nonlinear spatiotemporal function), the time-varying parameter extraction method is used to separate the time-varying parameters from uncertain nonlinear spatiotemporal function, which yields an unknown state-based boundary function. By the tools of NN and adaptive technology, an adaptive neural tracking controller is designed, which guarantees the uniformly ultimately bounded (UUB) performance of the resulting closed-loop system. The effectiveness of the designed method is verified by simulations. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

automatic recognition and extraction of roads from high-resolution satellite images is a crucial task in remote sensing and computer vision. With the continuous development of remote sensing technology, more ground object information is contained in images, making it more challenging to extract roads due to increased interference. This paper proposes a gated fusion and dual attention network with an encoder-decoder structure to address this problem. The full-stage gated fusion module in skip connection selectively fuses feature maps of different scales using the Gated Fusion (GFF) unit, which increases the receptive field of the network and improves the accuracy of road extraction. The context extraction and dual attention module introduce rich global information and simultaneously weights features from both spatial and channel dimensions. This improves the semantic segmentation problem caused by focusing only on local information in current road extraction models. Experimental results on two public datasets show that GFDANet can effectively extract roads in complex scenes. © 2023 IEEE.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is another useful perspective that brings questions from different disciplines together over the Internet. As more wearable technologies become available on the market, teleworking in Wearable Wireless Body Area Networks (WBAN) is becoming more widespread for Internet of Things-related medical applications. This article proposes a solar-powered wearable touch sensor based on a complete social network (SPWT) and Wi-Fi transmission that connects to a WBAN. Different focal points of the sensor network can be assigned to different points in the frame to determine a person's core temperature and heart rate and understand falls. Software for mobile phones and smartphones that displays sensor data and alerts of falls has also been developed. This software includes a web interface. To increase the service life of the central part of the wearable sensor, the pressure in the middle part mainly uses a full-strength flexible solar-oriented sensor with the result based on superior technology like Maximum power point tracking (MPPT). Preliminary results show that the average element of the wearable sensor performs well, although limited by a fully controlled daylight-based power source. The button-less 24-hour movement is incubated with an initial effect. The proposed local energy storage-based photovoltaic device suggests that WBAN-based long-term continuous medical surveillance is possible because the situation is away from home for a short time per day. © 2023 IEEE.

The dual capacitor output three inductor interleaved high-gain converter has broad application potential in many high gain applications. The converter input side adopts three-phase interleaved technique, the output side adopts three-level technique, effectively reducing the switching stresses of the converter. Besides having a higher voltage conversion capability compared to traditional Boost converters, this converter also has the characteristics of automatic inductor currents averaging and capacitor voltages stabilizing. However, this converter has the common shortcoming of high-gain DC-DC converters using capacitor energy storage step-up technique, which is that the duty cycle operating range is narrow. When the working duty cycle range of the converter is low range, that is, from 0 to 0.5, the converter's inductor currents can't be evenly divided. To address the above issue, a current averaging control method in low duty cycle range for the dual capacitor output three inductor interleaved high-gain converter is proposed. This method can make the converter have the characteristics of automatic inductor currents averaging and capacitor voltages stabilizing in a low duty cycle range, which is 0 to 0.5, for the dual capacitor output three inductor interleaved high-gain converter. A detailed analysis using the above control methods is studied on the circuit mode, voltage gain, automatic current averaging and voltage stabilizing characteristics, and switching stresses of the converter. Finally, the superiority of the proposed current averaging control method in low duty cycle range was verified by converter prototype experiments compared with traditional control methods. © 2023 IEEE.
