The assimilation of technology into the financial sector, often referred to as FinTech, has brought about a significant transformation. This shift has not only widened the scope of financial inclusivity but has also fundamentally reshaped the contours of financial solutions delivered. As FinTech solutions continue to empower individuals with greater control over their finances through mobile banking, digital wallets, and advanced data analytics, the security of these innovations becomes paramount. While software security has traditionally received more attention, this paper underscores the significance of hardware security, which serves as the foundational infrastructure for software security measures. It delves into the factors used to evaluate hardware security and outlines various categories of hardware attacks. A case study, focusing on point-of-sale (PoS) systems, exemplifies the importance of hardware security in FinTech. Mechanosynthesis, particularly through high-energy ball milling, offers a potent method for the fabrication of nanohybrids. This study explores the characterization of TiO 2 and graphene oxide (GO) nanohybrids, focusing on their optical and electrical properties, as well as their photocatalytic performance. Optical measurements showed a reduction in the bandgap from ≈3.27 eV in pristine TiO 2 to ≈3.02 eV in milled TiO 2 , while electrical conductivity increased from 5.59 × 10 -9 to 2.48 × 10 -8 S/cm. Despite these improvements, the addition of GO did not significantly impact the bandgap or electrical properties of the nanohybrids. Photocatalytic experiments using methylene blue (MB) under visible light irradiation demonstrated a dye degradation of ≈30-32% in all hybrid samples, indicating consistent photocatalytic activity regardless of GO oxidation degrees.

This paper analyses Step Density Modulation (SDM) techniques for high-frequency inverters in Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) systems for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging. Pulse Density Modulation (PDM) is widely used to control high-frequency inverters, but it struggles to manage current ripple, which can cause EMI, power transfer efficiency loss, and system degradation. In this paper, Step Density Modulation is offered as an upgrade over standard PDM to reduce effects of dead time in inverters by providing more precise pulse density and timing control. PDM modifies pulse density evenly, whereas Step Density Modulation dynamically varies pulse density in discrete stages to match the inverter's switching characteristics. Current ripple and harmonics are reduced, enhancing waveform quality and power transfer efficiency. A thorough mathematical model compares current ripple magnitude, frequency spectrum, and inverter delay time for the two modulation techniques. Detailed MATLAB models simulated on a 5 kW WPT EV charger show that Step Density Modulation outperforms PDM in reducing current ripple and improving inverter performance. Step Density Modulation reduces current ripple by 30% more than PDM, smoothing inverter output and improving system stability. This innovative modulation scheme improves WPT system efficiency and reliability for EV charging applications. © 2024 IEEE.

The field of 'Internet of Things' (IoT) technology is exploding because of the quick advancements in automation technologies, embedded systems, and networking. It has become an integral part of Home Automation which is the combination of sensor networks, cloud computing, monitoring, and control. This paper discusses networking and provides two distinct methods for managing network-connected appliances as well as two different strategies for controlling the connected appliances and devices resulting in the enhancement of the system's robustness and overall stability. LoRa and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi technology have been used for the networking architecture of the appliances. Direct load control and phase angle-based voltage control methods are designed and developed for controlling the connected appliances. The distinct wireless technologies increase the stability of data transmission while ensuring minimum power consumption. AC voltage control methodology followed in this research also improves the robustness of the control systems. A mobile application platform is also developed and presented in this paper which is used to monitor and control the appliances, also known as sensor nodes. © 2022 IEEE.

Object tracking for consumer drones is currently a rapidly developing technology. Its implementation is currently carried out with the use of object-in-image detection, which often limits the latest possibilities of this technology. The disadvantage of such a solution is also the increase in energy demand and the need to provide additional computing power, or delays resulting from the transfer of this operation to the control device. The proposed solution to this problem in this article is the use of UWB (Ultra-wideband) technology, which is increasingly appearing in consumer devices. The possible yield related to the accuracy of determining the position of the object as well as the experimentally determined frequency of receiving information about the position was presented. Additional advantages, such as resistance to NLOS (non-line of sight) conditions, were also presented. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper presents the pushing and rotation of a heavy rigid body using an omnidirectional actively tilted aerial manipulator, controlled via a hybrid force/position controller. Unlike conventional unmanned aerial vehicles, the proposed system enables precise horizontal force application, making it ideal for aerial physical interaction tasks. The hybrid controller is implemented in the Robot Operating System and validated through extensive simulations in a Gazebo physics-engine-based environment. The manipulator's performance was evaluated in two scenarios: circular trajectory tracking and the rotation of a heavy rigid mass. Results demonstrated its capability to follow complex trajectories with high accuracy and exert sustained forces for object manipulation. The system exhibited excellent stability and precision, underscoring its potential for real-world applications in challenging environments. © 2024 IEEE.

Memristors have also become one of the most promising research hotspots for solving data storage and computing problems faced in the big data era. As an emerging electronic device, memristor has potentially important applications in information storage and processing. This paper constructs a rod-shaped TiO2-x nanoscale memristor with FTO/TiO2-x/Cu structure, whose reliability is based on the memory behavior and its conversion mechanism. Research progress including materials, preparation methods, resistive switching mechanism and application prospects are described. First, the constituent materials of memristor are introduced, focusing on metal oxides and organic materials such as titanium oxide (TiO2). The choice of these materials is critical to memristor performance and applications. Secondly, the advantages and limitations of the preparation methods are discussed. Then the resistance switching mechanism of memristor was studied in depth, focusing on the generation principle and adjustment mechanism of memristor effect. These include important concepts such as charge migration, Schottky barrier formation and oxygen vacancy drift, which help to understand the electrical properties of memristors. In addition, we explore the prospects of memristors in practical applications. Finally, past and current work in this field is summarized, and the prospects and challenges of memristorrelated research are prospected. © 2023 IEEE.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are networks of sensors that can sense a dynamic process and send the measured data over a common channel to a central base station. As the number of devices increases exponentially, the energy efficiency of WSN clusters needs to be considered. The transmission power refers to the total allowable output power of the sensors to send information packets. Consider the power transmission problem for a fully connected cluster, with the goal of finding the minimum transmission power for each node in a given cluster without disrupting the network. In order to obtain a more effective optimal solution for the mentioned problem, ten different cases are studied using five optimization algorithms. The optimization algorithm is repeatedly tested to find the global minima of the fitness function. The study emphasises that the artificial ecosystem optimizer is the best fit for the mentioned model in all 10 cases. The average energy saved in transmission by the best performing algorithm is about 6.4 dBm. © 2023 IEEE.

Micro blogging sites have become extremely popular, with a huge number of tweets being posted daily on a broad assortment of subjects. Recent studies have exposed that a significant part of these tweets are regarding 'events', and the discovery of new events in the tweet-stream has pulled in a lot of attention. In the Natural Language Processing (NLP) field, automatic text summarization is viewed as an extremely tricky problem. The content substance on the internet, specifically, is rising at an outstanding level. The capacity to decode through such immense volumes of data, to facilitate mine the require knowledge, is a foremost undertaking and needs an automatic system to serve with the present warehouse of data. A decent text summarization framework should comprehend the entire content, reorganize information, and create coherent, useful and amazingly tiny summaries to pass on the significant information of the innovative content. In this article, an inventive content summarization framework has been built, which combines RNN with LSTM and encoder-decoder structure. Our framework is assessed on the LCSTS dataset, which is an excellent corpus of Chinese short content summarization dataset created from 'SinaWeibo'. Empirical outcomes exhibit the adequacy of the proposed framework, which outperforms all the existing approaches. Particularly, the proposed framework enhances the semantic consistency by 5% in terms of human assessment. © 2022 IEEE.

Recently, space-air-ground integrated network (SAGIN) has garnered considerable interest from both academia and industry due to its broad-coverage and high-reliability features collaborated by low earth orbit (LEO) satellites, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and ground devices. In the meantime, the integration of SAGIN with other emerging communication technologies is promising for research and applications. Mobile edge computing (MEC) enables the resource limited devices, i.e., the Internet of things (IoTs) devices, to offload their data packet to the data processing center for computing. In this paper, a space-air-ground integrated MEC network is studied, where the UAV and satellite are capable for providing computing services to IoT devices. All IoT devices could split their data packet for local computing and offloading. The IoT devices can communicate with the UAV by active mode and/or passive mode through backscatter communication. The utility efficiency maximization problem that jointly considers the data volume, time latency, and energy consumption is formulated. As the problem is nonconvex and can not be addressed by conventional methods, a deep reinforcement learning based method is proposed to acquire the data offloading policy. Numerous numerical results confirm the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method compared to other benchmark methods. © 2023 IEEE.
