Group communication plays a vital role in our interconnected society, facilitating efficient and secure data exchange among multiple endpoints. The issue pertains to the intricate nature that emerges within the limited settings of the Internet of Things and sensor networks. GKM plays a crucial role in maintaining security in group communication schemes. Existing GKM schemes commonly rely on public-key cryptography, which may be susceptible to potential threats posed by quantum computers. This study investigated the usage of post-quantum GKM schemes in the realm of IoTs. To enhance communication security and efficiency in the era of quantum computing, we made significant progress in implementing a post-quantum GKM scheme. Specifically, we have chosen the SABER Key Encapsulation Mechanism, which is one of the four finalists in the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) process. We also present preliminary simulation results for our scheme. © 2023 IEEE.

When renewable energy resources started, it opened a new horizon to transmission and distribution of electrical energy. Several distributed energy resources are linked to the utility network or microgrid with the aid of a power electronic interface. However, the power quality is deteriorated by different factors such as varying load demands, changing weather condition and nonlinear loads. Hence, the proposed system aims to achieve improved power quality under balanced and unbalanced conditions with high control capability. To raise the quality of power at Distribution side of utility grid, three-phase four-leg VSI is used. In this proposed system, Photovoltaic system is used to supply power to load. Therefore, a DC-DC Relift Luo converter is used, which efficiently boosts the voltage gain while reducing the effects of parasitic elements over a large duty ratio range. Output of DC-DC converter is stabilized using a Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) tuned PI controller and the effective grid voltage synchronization is achieved by the technique of feedback line controller. To ascertain the working of the proposed design in terms of its efficiency and dynamic compensation capability, a MATLAB based simulation model along with a laboratory prototype are developed and analyzed. © 2023 IEEE.

Wheat rust disease is a major agricultural threat, causing significant yield losses globally. Precision agriculture and autonomous robot systems represent pivotal advancements in modern farming and disease detection, leveraging technology to enhance crop management, optimize resource use, and improve productivity. These systems rely heavily on accurate and comprehensive data to train effectively. However, current datasets often fall short of meeting the specific needs of these advanced agricultural technologies. This paper addresses this gap by introducing a primary contribution in the form of an open-source dataset focused on wheat rust disease segmentation for precision agriculture. Open-source datasets in literature are either general plant disease datasets or wheat disease classification datasets. Our proposed wheat rust segmentation dataset, Focussed Rust Disease Images (FRDI), provides close-up views of disease manifestations on wheat leaves, capturing the natural variability and complexity of diseases in field conditions, thereby meeting the requirements of precision agriculture systems. This facilitates detailed analysis and effective training of deep learning models designed for disease detection and segmentation tasks for real-world agricultural environments. Furthermore, in our work we present an improved wheat rust disease detection and segmentation technique which is based on the concept of co-salient feature extraction for disease identification within complex and cluttered field images. By integrating localized and generic contextual information, our proposed approach effectively identifies key features and intricate patterns associated with wheat rust disease. © 2024 IEEE.

Ensuring the safety of the following operation under moving block signal is very important for safe operation. Now that the Train control system under Moving Block Signal (TC-MBS) is a distributed, complex, dynamic, and highly interactive system, the proposed method uses the Multi-Agent System (MAS) technique to design, model, and analyse the TC-MBS system. This paper describes implementing formal methods for modelling the TC-MBS system that operates in an uncertain environment and its safety verification based on model checking techniques. First, the multi-mode following operation in an uncertain environment is analysed using the decision table technique. Second, we introduce a creative modelling approach for MAS called UML-MAS to build the semi-formal model of the TC-MBS system. UML-MAS acts as a standard interface for the system designers and infrastructure managers to increase their requirement comprehension, analysis, system design, and scheme planning at the conceptual level. Thirdly, a set of rules is suggested to convert UML-MAS model into Vector-based Interpreted Systems Programming Language (VISPL) model, which serves as the input for the model checker MCMAS- T. In order to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the suggested approach, some case studies on modelling the TC-MBS systems while considering various scenarios in an uncertain environment and their verification employing MCMAS- Tare presented. © 2023 IEEE.

At first, people were unaware of brain tumors, it was believed that there was no cure for the disease, and the main control of the humanoid system was carried out by the human brain. Brain tumors form when brain cells grow and divide abnormally, and brain cancers form when brain tumors continue to grow. Computer purpose is essential in the field of medical because it removes the need for human judgment to produce correct results. The safest MRI techniques are likes of X-ray, CT-Scan and many more useful techniques. Such techniques can even identify small objects. Brain cancer using brain MRI. Abilateral (BF) filter was used in the pre-processing of this study to remove any noise present. For clinical anaysis there is a method termed as Medical imaging is used which basically provides visual representation of the inshore of body and also to show its functioning. Medical imaging is becoming increasingly important as the need for automatic, quick and efficient diagnosis increases, which can provide better image understanding than the human eye. Seeing different trends among young age group it can be said the brain tumor might be the major source of deaths caused by cancer among age group of 20-39. Brain tumors are painful and, if not treated properly, can eventually lead to various diseases. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper analyses Step Density Modulation (SDM) techniques for high-frequency inverters in Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) systems for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging. Pulse Density Modulation (PDM) is widely used to control high-frequency inverters, but it struggles to manage current ripple, which can cause EMI, power transfer efficiency loss, and system degradation. In this paper, Step Density Modulation is offered as an upgrade over standard PDM to reduce effects of dead time in inverters by providing more precise pulse density and timing control. PDM modifies pulse density evenly, whereas Step Density Modulation dynamically varies pulse density in discrete stages to match the inverter's switching characteristics. Current ripple and harmonics are reduced, enhancing waveform quality and power transfer efficiency. A thorough mathematical model compares current ripple magnitude, frequency spectrum, and inverter delay time for the two modulation techniques. Detailed MATLAB models simulated on a 5 kW WPT EV charger show that Step Density Modulation outperforms PDM in reducing current ripple and improving inverter performance. Step Density Modulation reduces current ripple by 30% more than PDM, smoothing inverter output and improving system stability. This innovative modulation scheme improves WPT system efficiency and reliability for EV charging applications. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents the pushing and rotation of a heavy rigid body using an omnidirectional actively tilted aerial manipulator, controlled via a hybrid force/position controller. Unlike conventional unmanned aerial vehicles, the proposed system enables precise horizontal force application, making it ideal for aerial physical interaction tasks. The hybrid controller is implemented in the Robot Operating System and validated through extensive simulations in a Gazebo physics-engine-based environment. The manipulator's performance was evaluated in two scenarios: circular trajectory tracking and the rotation of a heavy rigid mass. Results demonstrated its capability to follow complex trajectories with high accuracy and exert sustained forces for object manipulation. The system exhibited excellent stability and precision, underscoring its potential for real-world applications in challenging environments. © 2024 IEEE.

The accuracy of the dynamic model of a robot plays an important role for robots performing highly dynamic tasks. Quadruped robots are often performing highly dynamic tasks and in order to be able to do that, fine and precise control of all joints is necessary. Friction compensation can play an important role in accomplishing this. A friction identification procedure for quadruped legged robots is presented in this paper. The procedure consists of a predefined joint motion that minimizes the joint coupling and collects the necessary data for friction estimation. Using the identified friction terms, a PD torque controller with friction compensation was implemented. The identification procedure and the torque controller are tested on a Solo12 quadruped robot using MuJoCo simulation software and on the real robot.

Mechanosynthesis, particularly through high-energy ball milling, offers a potent method for the fabrication of nanohybrids. This study explores the characterization of TiO 2 and graphene oxide (GO) nanohybrids, focusing on their optical and electrical properties, as well as their photocatalytic performance. Optical measurements showed a reduction in the bandgap from ≈3.27 eV in pristine TiO 2 to ≈3.02 eV in milled TiO 2 , while electrical conductivity increased from 5.59 × 10 -9 to 2.48 × 10 -8 S/cm. Despite these improvements, the addition of GO did not significantly impact the bandgap or electrical properties of the nanohybrids. Photocatalytic experiments using methylene blue (MB) under visible light irradiation demonstrated a dye degradation of ≈30-32% in all hybrid samples, indicating consistent photocatalytic activity regardless of GO oxidation degrees.
