The internet of things (IoT) plays an important role in monitoring machines, productions and inventory management in smart factories. It helps to improve labor productivity, automatic system management, and devices maintenance. This paper presents the IoT framework and the results of research, design, and fabrication of the Wi-Fi wireless communication and control IoT system for coil winding CNC machines. A coil winding CNC machine includes three motors: one for releasing winding, one for winding coil and the other for spreading wiring. Each wound- or releasing-winding motor is controlled by an individual inverter, while the spreading winding motor is controlled by a servo drive. The whole electrical drive is monitored and controlled by its Supervisory control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) including electronic hardware and software. This paper focuses on the design of electronic hardware, communication firmware, and computer and smart phone software for monitoring parameters of a coil winding CNC machine. © 2024 IEEE.

The goal of this project is to build an automated railway gate control and signalling system using high-range ZigBee sensor technology. automatic railway gate control systems employ a layered sensor-based controlling system to avert traction system mishaps at railway crossings. The procedure is applied on a designated portion of the railway track, both before and after the crossing gate. The range will be determined by the average speed of trains passing through the crossing's rails. People using the crossing will be able to easily observe the several remarkable strategies used by trains to arrive at the crossing. In addition to visual and auditory cues, its primary function is to regulate a broad range of signals that span the whole crossing region. © 2024 IEEE.

In the field of healthcare, law, and education, Blockchain technology (BT) is emerging as a transformative force. This paper helps to explore the usage of BT to enhance the privacy and security in the above said domains. In healthcare industry, blockchain offers privacy and secure management of the vital electronic health records (EHR) and patient health records (PHR), boosting the data integrity and access control. In the law sector, blockchain-enabled smart contracts are providing new possibilities for the transactions automation, transparency, and security of the transactions, thoroughly facing the challenges in terms of jurisdiction and compliance with regulations like GDPR. In the field of education, blockchain technology is improvising the record-keeping, degree verification, and collaborative learning environments. Increased utilization of automated machine to reduce human effort has enormously increased demand of power units to be produced. This increased demand cannot be realized with conventional sources of energy and hence researchers have tried exploring possibility of fulfilling this heavy demand with non-conventional or green energy sources. This paper presents the energy exploitation model of nuclear power system. Nuclear energy is highly sensitive to extract and transmit to end consumers. In this paper, a combined frequency and automatic voltage restoration is achieved efficiently with the help of Osprey Optimization Technique (OOT) tuned TID-PID controller under condition of sudden loadings or disturbances in power network. The effectiveness of inspection tasks performed by unmanned helicopters during underground inspections is directly influenced by the performance of attitude control. Therefore, it is crucial to optimize the attitude control of unmanned helicopters. Spike neural membrane computing offers Turing computing versatility and high efficiency in various time collaborations. This paper presents a study on attitude optimization control of unmanned helicopters in underground coal mines using spike neural network computing. The approach involves constructing an extended spike neural membrane system based on the attitude dynamics model of an unmanned helicopter, with the aim of further optimizing the system and algorithm. The experimental results demonstrate that the optimized spike neural membrane system is capable of effectively achieving attitude control of the unmanned helicopter under normal conditions. Furthermore, it can successfully maintain the attitude angle within the desired range, even in the presence of wind interference. Additionally, a comparison with traditional sliding mode control and the Designed Optimization Model (OSNMS) reveals that the OSNMS proposed in this paper significantly enhances the attitude control performance of unmanned helicopters. © 2023 SPIE.

This research work focuses on conceptualizing and modeling smart grid infrastructure. The project's main objective is to develop a smart grid infrastructure to improve energy management in industrial processes. Regenerate has deployed a system that uses renewable energy sources like solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays and wind turbines combined with batteries for energy storage. This research work describes a method that first creates synthetic data and then uses a polynomial function to precisely model the statistical fluctuations inherent in the output of renewable energy sources. The process is carried out using MATLAB. A simulation model created using Simulink is also applied to build a smart grid that includes dynamic load control, demand side management DSM, and various control system configurations. The simulation demonstrates that it is possible to produce electricity with minimal or no depreciation related to an increased dependency on renewable energy sources. It can also function at a higher ratio of energy output produced by traditional sources than previously credited within New Zealand while having substantially fewer overall expenses associated with carbon emissions. © 2025 IEEE.

For electric vehicles (EVs) equipped with hybrid energy storage systems (HESS), a challenge is reasonably distributing and optimizing load power. To optimize the performances of the vehicle power and battery capacity, This paper introduces an innovative data-driven Energy Management Strategy (EMS) designed for HESS, which combines a hierarchical strategy of fuzzy neural network (FNN) and data-enabled predictive control (DeePC). At the driving level, FNN predicts load power demand by collecting historical speed and acceleration information along with current data. At the energy management level, the EMS adopts a novel data-enabled model, which collects the load power predicted by an upper layer. The DeePC achieves power distribution by controlling the supercapacitor current while maintaining the state of charge (SoC) within the expected range. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the developed EMS. Compared with long-short term memory (LSTM), artificial neural network (ANN), and support vector regression (SVR), FNN demonstrates the best-fitting performance, while the prediction results are closer to the actual load power. Compared with model predictive control (MPC), the proposed DeePC approximately reduces battery capacity loss by 0.15% and demonstrates well control performance. © 2023 IEEE.

This article studies the electrical protection technology requirements for the use of shore power by docked ships to ensure the safe and stable operation of the ship's shore power system in complex environments. By exploring the design and control strategies of electrical protection systems, the aim is to reduce equipment failure rates, eliminate safety hazards, improve energy efficiency, and support the development of green ports and low-carbon shipping. Detailed analysis of the three-level protection mechanism of shore power systems, analysis of the causes and countermeasures of short-circuit faults at different nodes, calculation and simulation of short-circuit currents for various types of shore power systems, analysis of the characteristics of short-circuit current changes, providing an analytical method for the rational configuration of circuit breakers, and emphasizing the importance of scientifically setting the protection system setting values. © 2024 SPIE.

The unbalanced duty cycles of the switches have been addressed by researching a three-level boost converter modular topology that incorporates interleaved boost converters. Output voltage management is necessary to guarantee the effective functioning of the load in renewable energy systems. This study proposes a cascaded controller control to balance the capacitor's voltage and manage the energy at the equivalent capacitor by computing the power current drawn from each energy source. MATLAB/Simulink simulates each of them. The two scenarios are as follows: altering the value of the load resistance and changing the value of the reference voltage. © 2024 IEEE.
