This paper presents a CMOS automatic gain control (AGC) readout circuit for Micro Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) resonant pressure sensor. The oscillation conditions for MEMS loop and the accompanying parasitic loops are analyzed in this paper. The parasitic capacitance between the driving and sensing electrodes of the sensor will lead to the electrical oscillation and prevent electrical-mechanical oscillation. The conditions of loop gain that need to be met to solve the above negative effects are discussed. A low noise Trans-Impedance Amplifier (TIA) is proposed to improve system noise performance. Fully differential structure is adopted in the circuit to reduce common-mode interference. The circuit achieves an equivalent input current noise of 0.41 pA/√Hz@100kHz, consumed 4.3mA current under a 5-V supply voltage.

Neutral section passing technology in railway power supply had always been a technical problem in current domestic traction power supply industry. In recent years, there are many technical schemes for passing neutral section. There are two main schemes of automatic neutral section passing at present: the vehicle control neutral section passing and automatic ground control neutral section passing, the automatic ground control neutral section passing is a relatively popular technical route in both schemes. Now incorporating fail-safe principle of signal specialty in automatic ground control neutral section passing and proposing the logic control system of automatic ground control neutral section passing based on the idea of "fail safe"in the interlocking system, and the risk identification and safety analysis are carried out based on the dynamic fault tree and HAZOP method. The fault tree is constructed based on the results of HAZOP analysis. Finally, the system reliability is quantitatively calculated through the fault tree. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In power system automation, substation access centralized monitoring system has a key position, especially in the context of new energy integration, with the rapid development of renewable energy, the power system is experiencing profound changes. To guarantee the reliability and safety of the system, comprehensive testing and verification of substation access to the centralized monitoring system is particularly important. This paper focuses on the research of testing technology of centralized monitoring systems for substation access and describes the current relevant research technology in this field. These include virtualization technologies, testing and commissioning technologies for master stations and substations, automatic point-to-point acceptance technologies, communication network quality assessment, and risk warning technologies. In addition, the paper also comprehensively analyzes the problems and challenges faced in practical applications, such as equipment aging and technical limitations in remote areas. Finally, it is concluded from four aspects that the test technology of the substation connected to the centralized control system needs further study to meet the complex requirements of the power system.

Due to their limited energy capacity, wireless networks will have a difficult time handling the tremendous volume of data that comes with a big number of users. This data is also rapidly changing and diverse. Superficial BigData Communication (SDBC), a novel paradigm for data integrity and energy efficiency, is introduced in this paper. By using a deliberate deployment strategy that permits quick reaction times and significantly increases network uptime, SDBC offers a novel method of obtaining important raw data. Learning enabled Energy Optimization Protocol (LEOP), a novel proposed technique, reduces the efficiency of data aggregation while simultaneously increasing data gathering accuracy as compared to the current Energy aware Route Optimization (ERO) method. The protocol employs sophisticated algorithms to analyze large-scale energy consumption data, identify patterns, and predict future energy needs. By continuously learning from operational data and environmental factors, LEOP adapts its optimization strategies in real time, ensuring robust performance under varying conditions. The primary goal of LEOP is to send as much data as necessary across wireless networks while minimizing energy consumption. The proposed method subsumes optimal energy control by using intelligent routing algorithms along with new data compression techniques. Our experimental results indicate that SDBC consumes less energy compared with the state-of-the-art scheduling approaches while ensuring high data quality. A new class of wireless networks that are sustainable and suitable for the requirements placed upon service providers by BigData applications emerged. Experimental results demonstrate that LEOP significantly reduces energy consumption and operational costs compared to traditional optimization methods. This research underscores LEOP's potential to revolutionize energy management practices, offering a scalable and adaptable solution for addressing the complex challenges of modern

Stop-skipping strategy can benefit both bus operators and passengers if the control is intelligent enough to adapt to the changes in passenger demands and traffic conditions. This is possible via deep reinforcement learning (DRL), where an agent can learn the optimal policy by continuously interacting with the dynamic bus operating environment. In this paper, one express bus lane followed by one no-skip flow is treated as one episode for bus route optimization. The objective is to maximize the passenger satisfaction level while minimizing the bus operator expenditures. To this end, a reward function is formulated as a function of passenger waiting time, passenger in-vehicle time, and total bus travel time. By training an agent of a double deep Q-network (DDQN), simulation results show that the agent can intelligently skip the stations and outperform the noskip method, under different passenger distribution patterns.

Effective generation of adversarial examples can help to improve the training of neural models to avoid adversarial example attacks. Watermark-based adversarial example generation methods regard watermark as a meaningful noise to perturb the neural models. Therefore, the resulting adversarial examples are more similar to the original images yet more difficult to defend. Existing Watermark-based adversarial example generation methods adopt the visible watermarking technology. This however may reduce the success rate of the attacks because the adversarial examples with visible watermarks can be easily perceptible by humans. To address this issue, we propose a novel approach to generate adversarial examples based on the combination of frequency domain and color space perturbation. In particular, we use wavelet transform to hide the watermark, making it invisible and introducing noises to the frequency of the images. We then select the Lab color space Similarity as an optimization scheme for perturbations control. Experimental results show that under the same dataset, the maximum attack success rate of the adversarial example generated by our algorithm can reach 98.56%. In addition, the generated adversarial examples are highly portable, the successful attacks on VGG, Resnet101, and Inception-v3 can reach more than 95%, and the color space perturbation optimization achieves an average RGB channel similarity of 97.22%. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this paper, two saturated nonlinear control strategies are proposed for regulation of SEA-driven robots based on singular perturbation (SP) and Energy Shaping (ES). The SP-based saturated controller is designed with two saturated control terms for cascaded two subsystems, and the ES-based saturated controller is proposed by a saturated PD control term plus a static gravity compensator. In comparison of the two controllers, the SP-based saturated controller requires the stiffness being relative large, while the ES-based saturated controller requires accurate stiffness knowledge. Satisfaction of the control saturation is guaranteed by using the hyperbolic tangent function in controllers design. Asymptotical control stability is analyzed using the Hoppensteadts Theorem and the Krasovskii-LaSalle theorem, and the control effectiveness is illustrated by simulations and experiments. © 2021 IEEE.

Significant performance improvements in bandwidth and latency make 5G a suitable candidate for a wide range of applications, particularly those requiring real-time communication, such as Industrial control Systems (ICS) and autonomous vehicles. However, today’s security, including modern cryptographic systems, is prone to different attacks caused by the high computational power of quantum computing, highlighting the need for integrating quantum-resistant security measures. To accommodate attacks targeted at 5G networks, there are efforts to move towards TLS-based security, which is the widely accepted standard across networks. However, integrating post-quantum algorithms must also be considered in such a transition. Thus, this paper is the first to perform the integration of Post-quantum TLS (PQ-TLS) protocols into 5G networks and offer a realistic performance evaluation. Our approach focuses on integrating PQ-TLS into the 5G control plane (CP) without requiring a major overhaul, thus ensuring communications’ interoperability even with legacy components of 5G, which may not support TLS. Specifically, we have updated the registration and authentication protocols for both core network functions and user equipment (UE) by implementing a TLS tunneling approach through virtualization. We then evaluate the performance and feasibility of PQ-TLS in enhancing the security of 5G communications on an actual testbed. Our results demonstrate that while PQ algorithms introduce some overhead, they remain viable for 5G applications, particularly for protocols that can run on the core network.
