This paper presents a pan-tilt control method based on multi-sensor fusion, PSO and BP neural network. The traditional PID control algorithm has the disadvantage of difficult parameter tuning, and it is difficult to realize the effective control of complex nonlinear system. BP neural network is used to set the PID three parameters, but the initial neural network is easy to fall into local optimal and slow convergence. In this paper, PSO algorithm is further used to set the initial weight of BP neural network, which can effectively improve the global search ability and convergence speed of BP neural network. The pan-tilt is modeled and the experiment is designed to compared with the traditional digital PID control algorithm, BP neural network PID control algorithm and PSO-BP PID control algorithm, it is proved that the control effect of PSO-BP PID control algorithm is obviously better than the former two. © 2021 IEEE.

Hypertension, one of the most common cardiovascular diseases, may not have obvious symptoms in its early stages, making it difficult to detect through simple blood pressure tests. A deep learning method using electrocardiogram signals as the source has been proposed for automatic feature extraction and classification of hypertension. Firstly, electrocardiogram is processed using methods such as wavelet decomposition to locate and calculate RR-intervals. Then, re-model and extract features from the RR interval data using a Temporal Convolutional Network combined a Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory Network, with added attention mechanism. Finally, a Support Vector Machine classifier optimized by the Dung beetle optimizer is used for hypertension recognition and classification. Simulations using datasets from the PhysioNet database, including shareedb, nsrdb, and nsr2db, show that the model achieves an accuracy, recall rate, specificity, and precision of 93.8%, 96.4%, 88.9%, and 94.3% respectively, with an F1-score of 95.3%. This method can timely identify hypertension, reminding patients to control their blood pressure through effective treatment to avoid adverse consequences.

This paper addresses the problem of steering a robotic vehicle along a geometric path specified with respect to a reference frame moving in three dimensions, termed the Moving Path Following (MPF) motion control problem. The MPF problem is solved for a large class of robotic vehicles that require a minimum positive forward speed to operate. This restriction poses additional challenges with respect to the control design, and is developed using geometric concepts, wherein the attitude control problem is formulated on the Special Orthogonal group SO(3). To this end, a MPF error model formulation is first derived that allows to exclude the conservative constraints on the initial position of the vehicle with respect to the reference path by enabling the explicit control of the progression of a virtual point moving along the reference path. The task of the MPF control law is then to steer the vehicle towards the moving path and to converge to the virtual point. Stability and convergence guarantees of the resulting closed-loop system are provided using the Input-to-State Stability concept. In particular, we show that the proposed controller is robust to imperfect tracking errors by the autopilot and wind gusts. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the efficacy of the proposed MPF control law. © 2021 American automatic control Council.

Fetal echocardiography has become a recommended investigation during pregnancy routine examination in the second semester of fetal development. The heart structures are now sufficiently developed to detect any indication of a possible congenital heart disease. However, the inspection of the key components is not as straightforward for the less experienced young obstetricians. Moreover, a background automatic check of the presence of the main elements could be helpful in speeding up the overall assessment during the periodic pregnancy control. In this respect, the current paper proposes the support of a deep learning model towards the semantic segmentation of eleven key structures that need to be identified within the second trimester fetal heart scans. © 2022 The Authors. A hybrid Search Group Algorithm (SGA) and Pattern Search (hSGA-PS) technique with the PIDA controller, to deal with automatic Generation control (AGC) of power system is presented. In the first stage, three nonlinear power systems with PID controller is considered and the controller parameters are tuned by SGA. The supremacy of the SGA -tuned PID-controlled AGC system is demonstrated by comparing the published Firefly Algorithm (FA) optimization procedure for the same interconnected power system. Then in the second stage, the PID controller is replaced with ProportionalIntegralDerivative and Acceleration (PIDA) controller and the optimum gains of the PIDA controller are optimized employing the SGA technique. It has been demonstrated that SGA-tuned PIDA controller improves the performance significantly compared with the SGA -tuned PID controller. Pattern Search (PS), a local optimization method is used in the third stage to fine-tune the PIDA controller parameters delivered by the SGA. The advantage of the hSGA-PS-tuned PIDA controller over the SGA-tuned PIDA controller, SGA-tuned PID controller, FA-tuned PID controller is demonstrated. Furthermore, in the sensitivity analysis, the system parameters, operation load conditions, and the location of disturbance are changed and the results are analyzed. The performance and results from the sensitivity analysis reveal the effectiveness of the hSGA-PS-tuned PIDA controller aimed at AGC of the power system. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has led to an increasing demand for effective device management. Distributed IoT device management solutions aim to move device management from centralized clouds to the network edge, closer to IoT devices, to improve solution scalability as well as privacy and security for both devices and generated data. However, this leads to the new problem of how to assign a specific device management instance to a client so that it is able to control and interact with devices in its proximity in the context of smart indoor spaces. In this paper, we propose an architecture for distributed and location-aware IoT device control based on indoor positioning. The architecture enables direct and edge-based interaction with IoT devices in the client's proximity based on its indoor location. Finally, we provide a proof-of-concept implementation through a smart campus case study to demonstrate and evaluate the proposed architecture in a real-world environment.

Traditional control instruments and DCS control systems are limited by shortcomings such as single control function, independent controlled elements, inability to close-loop control on site, and ineffective communication. Aiming at these problems, this paper proposes a kind of industrial furnace edge controller which has the functions of acquisition, calculation, control, storage, output and communication in one. The edge controller structure, edge computing and the control method applied to edge computing are designed. The fuzzy PID control method is compared with the conventional PID control method by taking the temperature control of resistance furnace as an example. The simulation shows that the control effect of fuzzy PID on resistance furnace temperature is obviously better than that of conventional PID. The test results also show that the performance indices for the fuzzy PID control are better, which again proves that the fuzzy PID control outperforms. The research results of this paper are of reference value for engineering applications. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

This journal discusses how Internet of Things (IoT) technology has overseen the management of poultry feed and supplements in Indonesia. By looking at the new findings proposed by the author, as well as the completeness of the explanation and analysis provided, this study aims to determine the level of scientific contribution of the paper. The authors of this study suggest using an Internet of Things (IoT) system to enable farmers to monitor feed and supplement conditions remotely. Using an average ping data of 64.8 milliseconds to the Blynk cloud server, notifications about the availability of feed and supplements are sent to farmers. In addition, the machine is automatically activated according to the feeding schedule at 08.00 and 16.00 and supplementation at 19.00. The controller technology uses the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to measure the surface height of feed and supplements. These sensors have very high correlation coefficients (r), which are 0.998 and 0.99, respectively. The research results show that this paper makes a scientific contribution by proposing and implementing an Internet of Things system that can help farmers monitor and manage the process of providing poultry supplements and feed. The new findings that combine controller technology with ultrasonic sensors to detect feed and supplement surfaces with high detection rates demonstrate good research quality. Overall, this paper makes a significant research contribution to the advancement of Internet of Things technology in the field of poultry farming, particularly in terms of automatic control and management of feed and supplements.

The accurate determination of the position of the clutch half joint is of great importance for controlling the automatic transmission. Due to the great change of truck load, the location of half joint is significantly affected by the mass factors. Consequently, the clutch half joint needs to be controlled according to the change of the load. The truck load was identified by the deformation of the truck’s leaf spring measured by displacement sensors. Meanwhile, the locations of the clutch half joint under different load conditions were calibrated by platform experiment. The calibrated half joints were determined based on the truck load and rectified successively using the coefficient K in the practical operation to approximate real half joint. The real vehicle tests demonstrated that controlling a clutch by considering the influence of the weight change on half joint can shorten starting time and improve the engagement quality of the clutch.

Managing data encompasses gathering, analyzing, storing and disseminating information. These days, multi-partner firms can't function without data sharing and collaborative data processing, which are essential for finding fresh insights. The majority of the time, institutions share data for institutional decision-making, advertising, and marketing purposes. The problem is that organizations share the data obtained, which mostly concerns individuals called data subjects or producers, without obtaining their meaningful consent. This means that those whose data is being used or misused have no idea what's going on. Data subjects also have little control over who outside organizations can access their information. In this work, we argued that data management should aim to gain the confidence of people whose information is being processed. Data subjects should be able to access and understand their data in order to do this. Lightweight Decentralized Data Manipulation Strategy (LDDMS) is a cloud-based data management and sharing platform that allows data subjects to choose who may access their data and consent to its collection and utilization using smart contracts. In order to determine how effective the suggested method is, it is cross-validated with the standard document processing technique known as Intelligent File Handling System (IFHS). Database mismatches are a common problem, but this method fixes them. The reliability and accuracy of data management are greatly enhanced by our system's exceptional performance in critical areas including data security, information verification, and error traceback. We provide a robust LDDMS as a future-proof answer to the problem of safe and effective educational data management.
