As of late, there has been expanded interest in Video Summarization and automatic Highlights age. One of the most watched and a played sport is cricket, especially in South Asian Countries. In cricket sport video, Umpire has the force for settling on huge choices about functions in the field. In this work, the manually chosen Recorded Video of Some international Twenty-Twenty cricket match video (T20*20) is used as dataset for Umpire identification inside the sport of cricket. The proposed dataset is assessed as a starter help for creating frameworks to consequently produce cricket features. With the growing increase of the utilization of technology in sports, this paper points basically at the Umpire Identification utilizing Area-Of-interest based Histogram of Oriented Gradients (AOI-HOG) Feature Extraction strategy for Human Identification. It expects to give Color Image Segmentation technique utilizing pixel wise color information to support vector machine (SVM) classification for Umpire Identification while protecting the arrangement of highlights. Test proof shows that the proposed technique accomplishes the Accuracy of 94.57%. Proposed one efforts towards successful segmentation results and computational conduct, and lessens the time and expands the norm of color image segmentation. © 2021 IEEE

IoT has become a magnet in today’s cyber world. In the past, household devices were still operated manually, but now they can connect to the internet. The advantage is that house residents can easily monitor and control their devices. With so many IoT devices, it will be more attractive for hackers to take them. There are lots of valuable assets on IoT devices that must be secured. One of them is data from these IoT devices. IoT hardware limitations are the main problem when carrying out a comprehensive data security process. The high computational load to perform this task cannot be adequately accommodated by IoT devices. Through this paper, we propose a clustering system based on the moth flame optimization algorithm to ease the performance of IoT hardware in securing each data. This method is efficient enough to reduce the computational load handled by the RAM and IoT processor. It is open to further improvement to get an end-to-end IoT security system and low computing load.

This paper investigates the application of Kubernetes and Edge computing technologies to operate IT services in the context of power systems and smart grids. Traditional services for grid monitoring such as Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs) and Phasor Data Concentrators (PDCs) require a centralized architecture and a rigid networking infrastructure in order to properly function, which today is only achieved at the High Voltage (HV) transmission level. Furthermore, manual intervention is often the only option for PMUs/PDCs maintenance. In this work, the traditional PμPDC services were deployed as docker-containers in a decentralized Kubernetes cluster, which can represent any kind of geographically dispersed TCP/IP network. By leveraging remote orchestration, several key benefits are achieved: (1) no manual reconfiguration of the PMU-PDC communications upon network reconfiguration, (2) automatic PMU traffic redirection in case of PDC service redeployment in a different location, and (3) reduced data-loss upon PDC failure and enhanced overall system resiliency due to minimized ICT services down-time. © 2022 AEIT.

Remote monitoring and control of irrigation can be realized by using agricultural automatic irrigation technology. Power supply is important to ensure the normal operation of automatic irrigation monitoring and control system. Using pipeline water flow as the energy source could solve the problem of power shortage outside the city. In order to fully utilize the water flow energy, we proposed a pico-hydro generation system in this paper, including the optimized power generation module and its peripheral circuit. Firstly, different structures of 3-D impeller models are constructed. These models are analysed and compared with each other using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and the optimized impeller model is selected. Finally, the peripheral circuit is designed based on the hydraulic turbine output using the optimized impeller structure. The results show that the impeller model with 7 blades, each of which is with the angle of 53°, has a stable flow pattern. And the water energy utilization efficiency is as high as 82.1%. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

In the field of short-term electricity load forecasting for microgrids, accurate forecasting is crucial for the stable operation of electricity grids and the improvement of energy efficiency. The selection of suitable features is a crucial step in the forecasting process as it significantly influences the accuracy and efficiency of the model’s predictions. To improve the selection of features, the study proposes the DC-ATTN-LSTM model, which includes the distance correlation (DC), the attention mechanism (ATTN) and the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) to improve the accuracy of short-term load forecasts. First, the DC method philtres the multivariate time series data of the microgrid to identify important features related to the electrical loads. An attention mechanism then refines these features and focuses the model on forecast-relevant information. These prioritised features are proposed to a newly designed LSTM network, which is designed to learn the temporal dependencies and non-linear patterns in the load data using advanced deep learning techniques. Energy consumption data from Tetouan, Morocco, is used for empirical validation to compare the DC-ATTN-LSTM model with traditional LSTM models and other prediction techniques. The results show that the DC-ATTN-LSTM model outperforms the benchmark models on various assessment measures, confirming its effectiveness in short-term electrical load forecasting. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Chiller system which is also known as Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning (HVAC) system, is a widely used technology by consumers for higher thermal comfort. The living standards around the world are rising rapidly whereby the use of HVAC system is also increasing significantly. However, this indicates that the energy demand especially in building is rising along with the uses of HVAC system. This is due to the large population size and high energy consumption of the HVAC system. Some methods have been proposed to reduce the energy usage of HVAC system in order to achieve energy savings. In this paper, an overview of the types of HVAC systems and review on the current methods used for energy management control are provided. This paper aims to develop a classification of the method used as a further reference of designing higher efficient energy management controls for HVAC system. © 2021 IEEE.

Huge information evaluation, the use of synthetic Intelligence, is a manner of using AI structures to automate the system of extracting meaningful insights from massive sets of statistics. A combination of AI-driven algorithms and hardware may be used to quickly perceive styles in unlabeled information that could otherwise take vast quantities of time to extract. This paper presents a method and framework for Automating Big Data Analysis using Artificial Intelligence (AI). With the increasing volume and complexity of big data, traditional manual analysis methods are becoming inefficient and often result in inaccurate or incomplete insights. To address this challenge, we propose a systematic approach that leverages AI techniques such as machine learning and natural language processing to automate the process of data analysis. Our framework includes measures for data preprocessing, feature selection, model building, and result interpretation, and adapts to different types and sources of big data. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach through experiments on real-world datasets and compare the results with manual analysis methods. The proposed automated approach not only improves the speed and accuracy of big data analysis, but also reduces the human effort and expertise required. This has the potential to greatly enhance decision-making processes in various industries and domains that deal with large amounts of data. These talents can be used to permit higher choice-making and create extra efficient, automatic approaches to conducting huge-scale data analysis.

Multi-Layer Perceptrons (MLP) are powerful tools for representing complex, non-linear relationships, making them essential for diverse machine learning and AI applications. Efficient hardware implementation of MLPs can be achieved through many hardware and architectural design techniques. These networks excel at predictive modeling and classification tasks like image classification, making them a popular choice. Approximate computing techniques are increasingly used to optimize critical path delay, area, power, and overall hardware efficiency in high-performance computing systems through controlled error and related trade-offs. This study proposes a hardware MLP neural network implemented in 45nm CMOS technology, in which MAC units of the neurons incorporate error and power controllable approximate multipliers for classification of the MNIST dataset. The optimized network consists of 10 neurons within the hidden layers, occupying 0.026mm2 of area, with 5.55mW at 100MHz frequency in accurate mode and 4.81mW in lowest accuracy mode. The experiments indicate that the proposed design achieves a maximum rate of 13.33% decrease overall and 24.78% in each neuron's power consumption with only a 0.92% decrease in accuracy in comparison with accurate circuit.

In this 21st century, one of the major issues faced by humans is, how to deal with the wastage of electricity. Mostly due to the carelessness of the management of the lamps or the streetlights are left ON in many places and one of the main sources of this wastage of electricity is in the sports complexes. In our paper, we try to solve this problem by using solar panels, and in addition to the proper utilization of electrical energy and water, we are using specific light and soil moisture sensors. To the maximum extend, our paper helps us to overcome the problems faced. The lights will be automatically turned on and turned off depending on the sunlight intensity, and also the water pumps will be controlled according to the moisture level present in the ground. The solar sensor which we are using is BH-1750 gives accurate values when compared with other sensors. In this research, we have collected the data on sunlight intensity which can be used further for developing a Machine Learning algorithm. © 2021 IEEE.

With the integration of distributed energy resources such as roof-top solar panels and wind turbines into the grid, power generation can surpass demand-generation and thus, giving rise to the negative pricing, especially in the summer months. In this regard, a scientific case study is conducted in this paper to analyse and predict the increasing instances of negative energy prices against demand-generation in Australian energy markets (AEMs) using real-time energy data from the Hornsdale power reserve, South Australia. A robust machine learning method, Light gradient boosting machine (LightGBM) is utilised to detect and predict negative prices at different quantiles to quantity the outliers in the pricing data. The implementation results demonstrate that predicting the prices at different quantiles can tackle outliers (negative prices) effectively with the help of extracted upper and lower bounds using quantile regression-based approach. The case study is further extended to learn the complex statistical relationships between different data features using Naive-Bayes Tree Augmented (NB-TAN) algorithm considering ‘price’ as the dependent feature against the independent features such as demand-generation, battery charging/discharging, and frequency control ancillary services.
