This paper explores the application of Model Predictive control (MPC) in multiple input and multiple output (MIMO) processes, focusing on redesigning the MPC system for a four-tank system known as Quadruple. MPC is utilized in process industries to forecast future controller outputs and minimize system costs by determining optimal future control actions. control action rates and plant outputs are adjusted by modifying weight matrices. The specified prediction and control horizons serve as key control parameters. The redesign of the MPC system for the Quadruple system involves designing and implementing it using LABVIEW software. LABVIEW simplifies the complexity of MPC controller design and implementation. The primary objective of four-tank system is to maintain consistent fluid levels in each tank, with LABVIEW facilitating the implementation of automatic controllers for effective control in process plants. © 2024 IEEE.

In engineering applications,the parameters of Parmanent Magnet Synchronous Machine(PMSM) are likely to be greatly deviated due to the change of ***,the change of electrical parameters will have a great influence on the control strategy of *** paper presents a parameter identification algorithm based on Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm(LM algorithm)to identify motor parameters. Firstly,the mathematical model of the motor is established. Then,the current and speed information of the motor are collected through locked-rotor and no-load experiments,and the collected information is identified by lm *** identification parameters are compared with the actual parameters to verify the effectiveness of the identification ***,the real current and speed information of the motor are collected by the real-time simulation simulation,so as to verify the validity and correctness of the scheme. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2024.

Gaze Estimation, a technology that has evolved in the modern era that revolves around analysing the movement of eyes and their patterns which covers a wide array of fields and domains. It transformed human-computer interaction by providing hands-free device control and navigation through visual focus. In this study, an unique approach has been introduced for estimating the gazes of the eyes through VGG16 model by modifying it's architecture that preserves it's base layers but replacing the softmax layer with an XGBoost classifier for better classification. For estimating it's efficiency, a comparative analysis has been conducted with various deep learning architectures. Through the implementation of the architecture, the primary aim is to outperform the benchmark models with notable performance improvements. The outcomes are highly encouraging and the modified architecture provides more precise estimation of gazes than the benchmark models. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, develop a power control scheme for underwater wireless sensor networks that takes into account the impact of communication ranges on network performance, including energy utilization and delay overhead. The primary objective of our scheme is to assign a differentiated optimal communication radius for each sensor node, enhancing overall network efficiency. The proposed method utilizes energy-aware Cluster-Dragonfly Optimization (CDFO), but it might face challenges in handling large-scale optimization, and the scalability of the algorithm may be limited when dealing with high-dimensional or complex optimization. Although the proposed CDFO method exhibits high performance compared to existing methods, such as Self-Adaptive Glow Worm Swarm Optimization (SA-GWO), Improved Coyote Optimization Algorithm (ICOA), Hybrid Cat Cheetah Optimization algorithm (HCCOA), and Chaotic Search-and-Rescue Optimization (CSRO), it may still face challenges in terms of handling large-scale optimization. Nevertheless, the proposed CDFO yields impressive results, achieving a Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR) of 99%, Packet Loss Ratio (PLR) of 4%, Energy Consumption of 9%, and Alive Node count of 330. These outcomes outperform existing methods in the context of Underwater WSN. © 2024 IEEE.

The high-precision fault diagnosis management method in multi-mode control systems was studied. Three typical power conversion circuits were selected to use full convolutional network (FCN), residual network (RESNET) and self-attention network (TRANSFORMER) for fault diagnosis algorithm research, and a fault diagnosis management method verification platform was built based on this. The algorithm model was built using Python in the Pytorch environment on a computer with 16GB RAM and a 3060 graphics card. The switching power supply circuit based on Tps53355 was analyzed by Pspice sensitivity, and 6 devices with the greatest impact on the output were obtained. The Adam optimizer was used, the total number of epochs trained was 60, and the mini-batch size was fixed to 64. The simulation verification showed that this model can achieve the system engineering management requirements: the fault detection accuracy is not less than 91%, the false alarm rate of lightweight power warning is not higher than 1.05%, and under multiple faults, no less than 3 composite faults can be identified. © 2024 IEEE.

The hybrid electric vehicle plays an important role in the automobile industry. The development of hybrid electric vehicles helps in the reduction of greenhouse gases and need not to depend on fossil fuels. The hybrid electric vehicle integrates with both the internal combustion engine and the electric motor. This helps to improve the sustainability of the system. This is enhanced through DC-DC converters. They help to transfer seamless transfer of energy through various sources and loads to the vehicle's electrical system. The overall performance of the system is achieved through efficiently converting and regulating the voltage levels. This also helps to improve the energy utilization of the electric vehicles. The smooth energy flow is achieved through the development of various control strategies. The various challenges in the functioning of hybrid electric vehicles are resolved through adopting deep learning techniques. Deep learning is artificial intelligence which functions based on the activities of human intelligence. Energy management is obtained through optimizing control parameters. The battery state of charge and energy exhaustion are detected and monitored through optimization techniques. The genetic algorithm is used for optimization of power management to obtain a more reliable and efficient system. This helps to provide automatic decision- making on how to distribute power from the hybrid energy sources. This is obtained as a sustainable transportation option due to its improved efficiency with reduced emissions. © 2024 IEEE.

Because of their high torque, high power density, and appropriate speed range, brushless DC (BLDC) motors are the top choice for lightweight electric vehicles. The application's goal is to use a Hall position sensor to build a speed-closed loop BLDC driver. The Enhanced Exploration of Aquila optimized control for speed in brushless DC motor is presented in this study as a new conceptual upgrade of Aquila optimization. In this study we employ and optimization - driven methodology to fine tune both the PI speed and voltage controllers, where the objective function is centered on minimizing errors. We evaluate the performance of our approach in contrast to a system utilizing AO optimization. When compared to the existing optimization of the PI controller, MATLAB simulation results reveal that the suggested optimized controller is more effective in the time domain performance. © 2024 Bharati Vidyapeeth, New Delhi.

In this project, we present the framework and methodology for developing a control algorithm for small mobile robots with limited range of communication in the context of rescuing victims trapped in debris after an earthquake. Our approach focuses on autonomous control and cooperative behavior among robots, with an emphasis on exploration techniques rather than complex maneuvering mechanics. To accomplish this objective, we establish a systematic methodology that involves analyzing primitive exploration algorithms in simulated scenarios, evaluating their effectiveness, and designing a priority function that enables adaptive switching based on sensor information and data from other mobile agents. © 2023 IEEE.

The project 'Advanced Fire Detection and Extinguishing Rover utilizing YOLOv8' introduces a cutting-edge, fire-detection and suppression system that uses deep learning and robotic automation to improve safety. The system uses the YOLOv8 object identification model, which was trained on several fire-related datasets, to effectively identify fire dangers in real-time using live video feeds processed using Python and OpenCV. When the system detects a fire with a high confidence score, it labels the impacted regions and sends the rover driven by the remote controlled and Arduino microcontroller. The rover's servo motor independently directs an inbuilt fire extinguisher to extinguish flames. Bluetooth allows remote monitoring and control, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and securely. This combination of artificial intelligence, computer vision, and robotics provides a revolutionary method for proactive fire-risk mitigation that aims to reduce damage, improve safety, and save lives. © 2025 IEEE.

This study addresses the affine formation maneuver control of cooperative multi-agent systems (MAS) having periodic inter-agent communication for both static and dynamic leader cases. Here, we focus on the leader-follower MASs. The primary aim of the control system is to steer the entire collection of agents to produce required patterns (geometric) along with any required maneuver through the direct control of only few a selected agents referred to as leaders. Most of the existing works are constrained to either the individual agents communicate with each other in continuous-time or the sample-data scenario where the leaders are stationary or have constant acceleration or velocities. Here, we consider the scenarios where the velocities of the leaders can be time-varying or constant. Here, different cases are addressed and some control laws are proposed. Conditions are established to help guarantee the overall stability of the systems. A simulation study is employed for the illustration of our proposed laws. © 2024 IEEE.
