Traditional warning signs use human retrograde placement;there are problems such as short warning distances, imprecise placement positions, and difficult positioning of accident points. According to statistics, the user's reaction time after facing a car accident is generally 1.05–1.28 s, and the reaction time to light is 0.225 s. The reaction time for the user to deal with a car accident independently is completely insufficient, and these reasons are the main reasons for secondary traffic accidents. In order to solve this social pain point, we designed a new intelligent triangle warning sign. The intelligent warning sign is installed with an intelligent base at the bottom, and it gets the traffic accident point precisely located when the intelligent warning sign is working, and the system gets the vehicle accident point and reminds the vehicles behind to pay attention to avoid, realizing the three-way interconnection of drivers and passengers, traffic control departments, and the personnel of the vehicles behind, and using the automatic navigation algorithm to realize the automatic navigation of the warning sign to protect the safety of drivers and passengers. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2024.

This article examines the current state of speech recognition technologies in Bangla, which is one of the Low Resource Languages (LRLs) spoken by a population of almost 185 million in Bangladesh and Western India. Out of the 12,338 articles on Bangla Speech Recognition Systems, 15 have been selected based on the fine-tuning approach of deep-learning algorithms, speech corpus development, gender bias mitigation, and unique acoustic modeling. However, the datasets and evaluation metrics used in these articles vary, making it difficult to compare their performance. To address this, a comparative analysis of the selected papers is provided, summarizing the technological approaches, adapted methods, and achieved performance. Additionally, a prospective application of speech-based data collection in the healthcare domain is introduced, highlighting its potential. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to shorten the time it takes for the manipulator components to reach the preset position and avoid the behavior state of excessively increasing the gripping angle, an automatic control system for the gripping angle of the manipulator based on machine vision is designed. According to the motion state of the mechanical components of the gripper, the connection sensitivity of the angular position sensor is controlled, and then the tension and pressure control structure is used to complete the on-demand adjustment of the clamping force action form and realize the construction of the application platform environment of the hardware structure of the automatic control system. On this basis, by grabbing the necessary manipulator operation image, following the principle of machine vision, completing the preprocessing, and then combining the kinematic functions to perform the force control switching operation and realizing the gripping force control based on machine vision, and completing the design and application of the automatic control system for the gripping angle of the manipulator. The experimental results show that when the motor driving speed is equal to 2000 PPS,4000 PPS, and 6000 PPS, the consumption time required for the manipulator components to reach the preset position will not exceed 9.5s. Compared with the double closed-loop control system, it is more in line with the application requirements of effectively controlling the behavior of the clamping angle. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

With the implementation of the guidelines contained in the Mexican standard NOM-172-SEMARNAT-2019, for obtaining and communicating the Air Quality and Health Risks Index, a unique method of calculation and dissemination guidelines was officially recognized to be applied by state or municipal governments responsible for monitoring air quality, this led to significant progress in access to information and health protection. This work has as one of its purposes to provide an accessible tool of very low cost so that monitoring studies can be carried out in other cities of the Mexican Republic using mobile networks of census of pollutants (using free software tools for a Geographic Information System, as well as free interactive data visualization software). Additionally, it was considered useful to make a distribution (areas of influence) using the Voronoi methodology in order to place this distribution only as a reference standard for the installation of future monitoring stations. © 2022 IEEE.

In this work, an improvement is made to eye fundus images to highlight the characteristics associated either with diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma pathologies, considering observations collected from specialized medical personnel, which are intended to facilitate diagnosis. Migration from the RGB (Red-Green-Blue) color space to the CIE L*a*b∗ space, defined by the Commission international d'Eclairage (CIE), is proposed for image processing. Given this migration, the intensity levels of pixel illumination are analyzed and modified by employing two fuzzy inference systems (FIS) to improve the image's contrast and highlight the details associated with these pathologies. The results section presents the relevant data obtained in this proposal. With them, it is demonstrated that applying fuzzy logic in processing eye fundus images is a viable option to support medical personnel in elaborating a diagnosis, considering that fuzzy schemes had been scarcely used for this type of image. © 2022 IEEE.

automatic Modulation Recognition (AMR) plays a critical role in wireless communication and can be applied in various applications such as spectrum monitoring and signal surveillance. Recently, different AMR approaches have been proposed based on Deep Learning (DL), which are inspired by the powerful abilities of feature extraction in neural networks, i.e., Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN). Among these solutions, hybrid methods extract spatial features and temporal features of signals by combining CNN and RNN into a single architecture to provide better performance. However, it is inefficient to extract two types of features using a single architecture since the temporal feature could be degraded after CNN layers, and the spatial feature may be compromised after RNN layers. To overcome this challenge, we propose a parallel neural network architecture for AMR, which extracts spatial features using CNN layers and temporal features using LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) layers, respectively, in two parallel routes. Afterward, the extracted features will be combined to predict the modulation scheme of a signal. Extensive simulations are conducted on signals with 11 different modulation methods at a wide range of Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) levels to evaluate our proposed parallel feature extraction architecture. In addition, we compare our solution against three other DL-based methods, and the results show that our method outperforms in terms of recognition accuracy. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Real-time parallel applications with industrial automation are applications that are designed to run in parallel, in order to accomplish a task in a shorter amount of time. These applications are used in industrial environments to control machines and other processes in order to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. Real-time parallel applications allow machines and processes to be managed simultaneously. This means that instead of needing to wait for one process to finish before starting the next, multiple processes can be run at the same time. This increases the speed at which tasks can be completed, allowing for greater efficiency and productivity. Real-time parallel applications can be used to automate processes and machines. This means that instead of needing to manually manage and monitor a machine, the software can handle all of the work. This can help to reduce errors and improve the overall quality of the product being produced. © 2023 IEEE.

Incorporation of DL techniques have greatly advanced in accuracy of prediction in various fields. In this research, our goal is to diagnose crop damage in fields by enabling farmers to identify the crop disease and take suitable actions. The proposed solution leverages hybrid model of CNN and CapsNets for image-based classification, accessible via a web interface, to facilitate this accurate crop disease prediction. After reviewing over 50 CNN articles, we identified that usage of Capsule Networks along with CNN enhances image classification acquiring better spatial relationships. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper explores the essential aspects of user interfaces for teleoperating mining vehicles and systems. Current interfaces have evolved from basic line-of-sight remote control systems, incorporating video displays to enhance functionality. Despite their simplicity, these interfaces have proven to be effective and profitable for teleoperation. Ongoing research in Exploration and Mining emphasizes the integration of non-visual feedback for operators and the efficient presentation of such information. The primary goal of the user interface is to meet key client requirements for mining systems, focusing on robustness, reliability, and user-friendliness for on-site operational and sup- port personnel. The implementation involves a rover controlled via a mobile device, utilizing Arduino for robot control and an ESP32 cam for video capturing and live streaming. Blockchain technology represents a modern supply chain management revolution which fixes operational challenges while providing enhanced transparency at reduced costs. The research develops HB-SCOF (Hybrid Blockchain-Enabled Supply Chain Optimization Framework) which combines blockchain self-verification databases with automatic smart contracts to maintain continuous supply chain observation and evaluate data credibility. The framework integrates tamper-proof transaction tracking mechanisms with unified supply chain network connectivity for securing data transmission as a trust delivery method through unbreakable shared databases. The retail-industry case study demonstrated a 25% decrease in expenses stemming from agency elimination alongside enhanced flow management and better stock distribution. The system demonstrates its effectiveness through assessments of key performance indicators including transaction speed and data accuracy together with business cost efficiency. This part looks at implementation methods through training stakeholders in addition to transforming organizational policies which produce successful outcomes. Blockchain technology labs verify its capability to enhance supply chain management efficiency while showing realistic deployment methods. © 2025 IEEE.
