A simple technical integration approach is used to classify dynamic data with various disturbances and uncertainties. Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) is introduced to decompose nonlinear data subject to classification into approximation and detail components at multiple levels, in order to extract the intrinsic information against disturbances and uncertainties. The nonlinear Support Vector Machine (SVM) is then applied for data training and binary tree decision making as well as learning enhancement. Integration of DWT and nonlinear SVM has demonstrated feasibility and effectiveness in multiple case studies. Firstly, this approach has been applied to time domain transient experimental data classification for Rapid Compression Machine. Secondly, it has been applied to frequency domain Raman spectral differentiation and decision learning enhancement. It can also be extended to spatial domain data classification, such as dynamic properties of clay flocs.

In the current industrial era, automated inspection is crucial for maintaining the quality and reliability of manufactured components. Accurate and efficient inspection processes are essential to meet industry standards. This research presents a deep learning-based model integrated with automated inspection hardware for detecting defects in flywheel workpieces. The flywheels, with dimensions of 22.75 cm outer radius, 16.75 cm inner radius, and 6 cm thickness, were inspected to detect holes, scratches, and pitted defects. The model was trained on 1900 images from 38 flywheels and tested on 7, with 40 ground truth defects identified by professional QA from industries. To meet the requirement of inspecting each flywheel within 20 seconds, we designed a hardware system incorporating a stepper motor, camera, and lighting. The deep learning model is based on YOLOv4Tiny, with modifications to the backbone and feature fusion through an improved Feature Pyramid Network (FPN). We evaluated the model using a confusion matrix to determine precision, recall, and accuracy. Our model detected defects as small as 0.5 mm and achieved the highest accuracy at 95% and 40 fps, outperforming YOLOv5, YOLOv6, YOLOv7, and DETR. The optimal motor speed, determined by real-world observation, was 200 RPM, enabling the system to complete the inspection within 20 seconds. © 2024 IEEE.

This manuscript presents the real-time experiments of a model-free nonlinear controller based on Adaptive Dynamic Programming (ADP) for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV). These types of vehicles exhibit significant coupled nonlinearities and parameter uncertainties. To address this, our approach introduces a data-driven scheme, where open - loop data are collected and used to train a differential neural network for identifying the vehicle's dynamics. Based on the identified model, an ADP scheme with an actor-critic structure is implemented to conduct trajectory tracking experiments for yaw and depth dynamics. Additionally, this study examines the implications of using the ADP algorithm and offers insights for necessary adaptations to achieve successful implementation on an open-source commercial underwater vehicle within the ROS environment, thereby bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical experimentation.

With the development of computer technology and network technology, power electronic and electrical equipment has also shifted from traditional manual and manual measurements to automatic control measurements, providing more convenient and efficient monitoring methods for electrical equipment in substations. By establishing a visual monitoring system for the power system, real-time information of the power system can be obtained, playing a crucial role in the safe operation of the entire power system. The traditional monitoring of electrical equipment involves processing various electrical equipment data through computers, analyzing the data to identify and diagnose faults in the equipment. Therefore, traditional monitoring methods for power electronic equipment have many shortcomings, such as a single monitoring object and content. Traditional methods can only monitor the electrical circuits of power equipment, And it is not possible to make real-time diagnosis of equipment faults. Therefore, in order to solve the above problems, this article proposes a visual monitoring method for electrical equipment based on fuzzy PID algorithm, which is based on existing visual monitoring methods for electrical equipment. © 2023 IEEE.

The need for effective cybersecurity solutions has never been greater than in today's world of constant digitalization and interconnection. This study explores the use of deep learning to the creation of a model for preventing cyber security threats using machine learning. The model is meant to successfully identify and prevent cyber-attacks by analysing network traffic and system behaviour using a convolutional neural network (CNN) linked with variationalautoencoders (VAEs). This study's findings illustrate the model's competency in threat recognition with a high degree of accuracy, precision, and recall. Actively monitoring and evaluating network data, providing automatic threat identification and response, further demonstrates its usefulness when used in the real world. This work sets the path for future developments in quantum-resistant encryption, adversarial machine learning studies, deep learning architectures, autonomous cybersecurity systems, explainable AI, and global threat intelligence cooperation. These new approaches have great potential for paving the way towards a more secure and resilient cyber future. © 2023 IEEE.

The Structured Random Matrix (SRM) model is an increasingly popular approach to industrial automation. This model is based on the idea that the control systems of industrial machines are "structured"in a certain way, with certain properties that can be predicted and used to model the behavior of the system. SRM incorporates the principles of random matrix theory in order to provide an efficient, reliable, and realistic model for industrial automation. The SRM model works by taking a large set of variables, such as the type of machine, the speed of the machine, the number of required parts, and the number of different components to be used in the system. These variables are then used to generate a random matrix, which can then be analyzed to identify patterns and correlations between the different variables. This allows engineers to develop more accurate models of the system, as well as to identify potential problems and solutions. In addition to providing a more accurate model, the SRM model also allows engineers to simplify the design process by reducing the number of variables used in the system. This simplification means that fewer parts are needed in the system, which reduces the cost and complexity of the system. Furthermore, by reducing the complexity of the system, engineers can reduce the amount of time spent on maintenance and repairs, which saves money and increases efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a ventilator that is characterized by simple construction and operation, as well as accurate execution of tasks due to the control system based on the Arduino board and servo motor. The device presented in this research is composed of two main parts: the mechanical part, represented by pliers, which are two opposite plates that can be moved at a specific angle and speed with the assistance of a servo motor connected to these two pliers by two iron rods, and the electronic part, which serves as the base for the ventilator described in this paper. The electronic component consists of a keypad, an Arduino board, and a servo motor. a display screen that shows the user-entered settings is also included. The main goal of this paper is to accurately adjust the amount of oxygen flowing to the patient through the ability of this device to determine the angle of the motor, and the number of breathing times that can be adjusted by adjusting the speed of the engine. A model of the proposed ventilator has been implemented and successfully tested in terms of modifying the motor angle and how rapidly the bag is pressed (motor speed). wherever the control system's settings have all been accurately and completely applied. In comparison to other devices proposed in numerous studies, this device is characterized by the simplicity of its design, the affordability of its parts, as well as its light weight, which makes it easier to carry and move from one place to another. It is also distinguished by its accuracy in controlling the amount of oxygen required as well as the number of breathing cycles per minute. © 2023 IEEE.

The conventional energy sources that are used today are the most reliable sources discovered till date. But its environmental consequences and exhaustibility are the sole reason for switching to the renewable energy sources. Despite of all its environmental benefits and inexhaustible nature, it is very unpredictable and hence not at all reliable. So instead of depending on a single renewable source world is moving towards a hybrid source. So the idea of smart integration of the renewable energy sources with grid or battery bank for standalone system is coming into picture. The core objective of this paper is to create a smart sensor-based network for automatic control and switching of the solar and wind integrated system depending upon the nature of resource available, demand and utilizing from the auxiliary supply when needed. This is a theoretical model with the objective is to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the system. A part of this model is modelled in the MATLAB/Simulink Software to check the utility of the model. © 2022 IEEE.

With the increase in the number of remote sensing satellites and imaging modes, the amount of data for acquiring remote sensing images has greatly increased. Effectively and stably performing geometric positioning on remote sensing images is the foundation of remote sensing applications. This paper proposes a remote sensing image matching and positioning method based on a multi-feature control point database in MySQL. Firstly, a feature control point database in MySQL is constructed based on multiple feature methods. Subsequently, the target image is matched from coarse to fine using region features and point features in the feature control point database. Experimental results show that, on three target remote sensing images, the coarse-to-fine matching method based on MySQL multi-feature database can achieve good geometric positioning effects, with a positioning accuracy of around 0.5 pixels. © 2024 IEEE.

The clock tree synthesis (CTS) step is critical for the physical design of ultra-large-scale integrated circuits (VLSI). Outstanding CTS results can reduce the skew of clock networks, decrease chip power consumption while improving performance and reliability of the chip. This paper proposes a register clustering method based on the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II) algorithm to generate the leaf-level topology of the clock tree, addressing multi-objective optimization issues in integrated circuit physical design. We model register clustering as a multi-objective optimization problem. By analyzing the clock network model and power consumption to design the objective functions, register clustering schemes are encoded. Pareto optimal solutions are obtained through iterative evolution and non-dominated sorting. This method is integrated into the traditional CTS process. Three circuits were selected from the ISCAS89 benchmark circuit for testing and analysis proving its effectiveness. Experimental results show that compared to traditional clock tree synthesis methods, our approach reduces timing skew by more than 5%, maximum clock delay by over 15%, and power consumption by over 10%. Our strategy achieves a balance among multiple physical design objectives, obtaining superior clustering schemes. This paper offers an effective algorithm for multi-objective register clustering. © 2024 SPIE.
