As the pressure of new energy consumption increases, load side resources serve as economic regulation resources to provide flexible regulation capabilities for the power grid. To reduce the scheduling, computing, and management burden of ubiquitous access of distributed resources, the load side resource aggregation provide an interface for grid collaborative scheduling. By using the aggregation equivalence method based on the zonotope to characterize the time-varying scheduling parameters of resources, an aggregation method is proposed to construct an approximate objective function considering the demand of new energy consumption inside and outside the cluster. The aggregation loss is divided into periods with lower demand for new energy consumption, thereby improving the effective accuracy of the aggregation method. In the disaggregation process, design new energy consumption factors to maximize the consumption of new energy within cluster. Finally, through practical example verification, the aggregation efficiency of clusters covering multiple types of resources such as source, load, and storage was verified. The results showed that the improved aggregation and disaggregation methods effectively improved the regulatory efficiency of load side resource participation in assisting new energy consumption. © 2023 IEEE.

In cloud-based edge computing systems, edge server placement is crucial to many applications response time. Generally, edge server placement is always modeled as a multi-objective optimization problem and solved with integer programming algorithms. However, these algorithms are not well scalable, and parameters used in these algorithms depend heavily on experiences. In this paper, we propose an optimized k-mean based edge server placement method. We use k-mean to cluster system sources and application loads, and sort the application load to apply the most applicable server to the application. Experimental studies over synthetic data sets validate effectiveness of the method. © 2023 SPIE.

Ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) in computer networks is a primary goal for network scientists and engineers. Quality of Service (QoS) is the capacity to ensure a specific degree of performance in a communication network or to assign varying priorities to various users, applications, or data flows. In addition to taking security considerations into account, it entails managing a number of network parameters, including throughput, bandwidth utilisation, latency, jitter, packet loss, and availability. However, preserving QoS becomes difficult in dynamic networks where topology changes frequently. In this sense, Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) pose a special challenge. Due to their reliance on single-channel communication systems in the past, MANETs' QoS capabilities are limited. The use of multichannel communication has been investigated as a method to enhance QoS in MANETs. Multichannel communication can increase throughput, decrease interference, and provide mobile nodes more flexibility by using numerous channels at once. The idea of multichannel communication for MANETs is expanded by this research. In order to demonstrate how the suggested approach differs from current single-channel approaches, a multichannel MANET implementation system is built and analysed. The goal of this system is to offer an efficient QoS policy for MANETs, in which a large number of nodes have previously been installed using a variety of techniques and algorithms. Effective multichannel tactics are used to test and assess the system in comparison to existing methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Image matching is an important step in the process of power inspection image stitching and 3D reconstruction, which directly affects the effect of power line image stitching and 3D reconstruction, and is widely used in power line inspection. Traditional power inspection image matching applications are mostly implemented on X86 architecture, but ARM architecture has gradually entered the server field in recent years, showing high efficiency and energy-saving advantages, so it is necessary to transplant power inspection image matching applications to the server platform of ARM architecture. Since the application of image matching is very computation-based, in the process of porting the algorithm to the ARM platform, this paper adopts the Gaussian pyramid algorithm to accelerate the application of image matching through the search method from coarse to fine. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. With the popularization of new technologies such as big data, cloud computing and the Internet of things in the construction of smart grid, power data is showing explosive growth. Traditional power enterprises rely on manpower to collect data and recover arrears. During the period of COVID-19, the closed management of government departments, the arrears of electricity customers and no power outages made the recovery work more difficult. In this paper, through the mining and analysis of customers' historical payment data, historical electricity and other data, using the deep learning algorithm in the field of artificial intelligence, this paper constructs a mathematical model and formulates the prevention and control strategy of electricity charge recovery risk of business travel alienation. The application results show that the new strategy can effectively reduce the amount of customer arrears and comprehensively improve the lean, digital and intelligent management level of power supply enterprises. © 2022 IEEE.

Today the world facing the huge gap between generation and demand of electrical energy, after the huge oil crises the Renewable Energy power generation helps to fulfil the energy gap. There are different Renewable Energy resources are available in nature, form that solar energy source plays a vital role in electrical power generation. In India huge MW of solar parks has been installed with better efficiency but those plants are facing some power quality issues when connected to the load due to some technical reasons like equipment failure, overheating of electrical distribution system, software corruption, circuit board failure, fluctuation on voltage and frequency, etc. The power quality is important characteristics of Renewable Energy system because now a day the connected loads are nonlinear like oscillation in frequency, voltage, and harmonics due to the met and also more sensitive. The smart grid connection also have same problem due to various source connected to the grid such as Solar, Wind, Thermal, Nuclear. This article provide solution to overcome this problem by introducing soft computing-based MPPT control system, filter control system and also for three phase system. As one of the critical infrastructures, the safety and reliability of the smart grid are directly associated with the development and stability of society. However, studies have shown that the power grid is at risk when the parameters are manipulated and cyber-attacks are generated against the state estimation, i.e., under false data injection attack (FDIA). Currently, a rich body of literature has studied on the FDIA defense methods, but most of them focus on the direct current (DC) scenario. This paper proposes a novel detection model that combines the wavelet packet decomposition (WPD) technique with the random forest (RF) algorithm. The WPD is able to capture the deviation of parameters from the normal conditions, whereas the RF is developed to classify these features and effectively identify the malicious data. The proposed model is also evaluated using real-world data on IEEE 118-bus power system. The results demonstrate excellent performance on precision rate and recall rate under varying scenarios. © 2021 IEEE.

With the increasing intelligence of power IoT terminal devices, the massive volume of data transmission, and the widespread adoption of shared services, traditional terminal boundary security mechanisms are unable to keep up with the rapid development of network technologies and applications. Additionally, they fail to trace and source network attacks, leading to frequent organized and purposeful malicious attack incidents. To address these issues, this paper proposes a research method for risk modeling and traceability of boundary attacks on power IoT terminals based on complex networks. First, based on the node information of power IoT terminal devices and complex network theory, a terminal boundary attack network (TBAN) is established. Next, using indicators related to complex network theory, such as degree, in-degree, and out-degree, the terminal boundary attack network is analyzed. Furthermore, a staged TBAN is proposed to analyze the attack risks at different times. Then, combining causal theory, a method for tracing and sourcing terminal boundary attacks based on a causal Bayesian network is proposed to identify and trace malicious attacks. Finally, validation and testing analysis are conducted using the actual deployment of power IoT terminal devices. The proposed analysis method transforms the spatial characteristics of the power IoT terminal boundary into a temporally sequential TBAN, which not only visually reflects attack risks but also reveals the temporal relationships of terminal boundary attacks between lines. © 2024 IEEE.

The wearable medical devices are integrated with the internet of things (IoT) for smart healthcare applications to improve the quality of service. The information regarding the patient's details updated through the IoT devices helps to provide the medication based on the present condition and hence the severity can be reduced instantly. Machine learning (ML) is utilized for making better decisions through clustering and classification methods that efficiently deal with the quality of information. Hence, this research introduces an analysis of smart disease prediction techniques for healthcare applications. The analysis of diseases such as heart disease, Alzheimer's disease, and diabetic retinopathy disease based on machine learning is employed by reviewing the conventional detection methods along with the achievements and research gaps. In addition, the analysis based on the performance metrics, dataset, and tools utilized is also devised for the development of the novel smart disease detection technique with more efficient accuracy of detection. © 2022 IEEE.
