In recent years, photovoltaic power generation, as one of the most important modes of clean energy generation, has gradually become the focus of China's energy development efforts. The Jiuquan area in Gansu, with good solar radiation conditions, high light intensity and high solar power generation potential, is an ideal area for building solar photovoltaic power generation farms. However, as the photovoltaic panels(PV panels) are exposed to the outdoors for a long time, the surface of the panels tend to accumulate a layer of dust, which makes it difficult for the sunlight to shine directly on the power generation area, seriously reducing the actual power generation efficiency of the panels, and at the same time, the 'heat island effect' caused by the dust may lead to damage of the panels. In this paper, a PV dust monitoring system is designed to solve the problem of low efficiency of PV power generation system caused by dust. The first part introduces the background, purpose and significance of the research, introduces the current status of domestic and international research, and states the main research work of this topic;the second part introduces the basic theory of PV power generation system and the effect of dust on PV power generation system;the third part introduces the design scheme of the system from the perspective of hardware and software;the fourth part introduces the specific implementation scheme of the system. This paper provides a solution to monitor the dust accumulation on the surface of PV panels, and provides support for the prediction of power generation and the recommendation of the cleaning cycle of PV panels. © 2021 IEEE.

This research's primary goal is to create a system for detecting sign language. Sign language has long been accepted as a genuine mode of communication for people who are having hearing-impaired problems. The inability of technology to detect and comprehend sign language has limited its usage in daily life. This research will look at many ways to sign language detection, such as image and video processing using deep learning approaches. The objective of the research work is to develop a system that can recognize and interpret sign language properly, with the potential to increase accessibility and inclusion so that it supports hearing-impaired people. The study's findings will be examined through a series of tests and assessments, and the system's possible applications and future advances will be explored. This paper will give an idea of how deaf and dumb people can engage in utilizing web platforms (video calls, meets, etc). Assisting them in expressing their thoughts, particularly while using internet platforms. In this paper, we are using the Hybrid CNN-LSTM models that have been presented as a means to increase performance on tasks such as image recognition by combining the resilience of both networks Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for sign gesture recognition and for predicting the equivalent words uses Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The role CNNs is to extract features from pictures and other data with grid-like layouts, but LSTMs excel at modelling sequential data while maintaining context. A hybrid CNN-LSTM model can take use of the capabilities of both networks by merging them, possibly leading to higher performance on a number of applications. A hybrid CNN-LSTM model may be implemented by using a CNN to extract features from an input imagery and then feeding those features into an LSTM network to simulate the data's sequential structure. The growing demand for high power-density power factor corrector (PFC) solutions for compact adaptors, electric vehicle chargers, light-emitting diode (LED) drivers, etc, necessitates high-performance energy-efficient control to achieve ultra-fast load transient with reduced output capacitor size. In this paper, a trajectory-based controller tuning approach is proposed in a boost PFC converter under digital constant on-time average current mode control (CMC) with normalized load current feedforward, which can achieve near-time-optimal recovery with reduced voltage undershoot/overshoot. Also, a CCM-DCM (continuous & discontinuous conduction mode) boundary detection technique is incorporated, which offers a natural transition with reduced switching/driving losses. Structural stability analysis is carried out using a discrete-time modeling framework, and the effect of parameter variations is discussed. The effectiveness of the proposed control technique and the performance improvement are demonstrated using simulation results. © 2023 IEEE.

The anticipated growth of the aerospace industry in the coming years has raised concerns among regulatory agencies and airlines regarding the environment and the economy. Extensive efforts have been dedicated to explore more electric aircraft (MEA) to reduce emissions and maintain profitability. In the aerospace industry, multi-pulse rectifiers (MPRs) are commonly employed for their reliability, durability, cost-effectiveness, efficient operation, and maintenance-free nature. This research introduces a circuit configuration designed to mitigate harmonics in the AC side of an extended-delta configured auto-transformer. The proposed design incorporates a 12-pulse extended-delta configured auto-transformer and a pulse multiplication circuit on the DC side of the 12-pulse diode bridge rectifier (DBR) to enhance the output of a standard 12-pulse DBR to 24-pulse DBR. The pulse multiplication circuit, comprising a tapped inter-phase reactor (IPR) and two diodes, offers lower conduction losses and an easier design than traditional pulse multiplication circuits. Moreover, the proposed configuration ensures that the source current closely resembles a sinusoidal wave. The study employs MATLAB/Simulink for circuit configuration simulation and investigation. Hardware-in-loop results are subsequently presented to validate the findings, demonstrating a noteworthy enhancement in power quality, aligning with DO-160G aircraft standards. © 2023 IEEE.

This article studies the online simulation technology architecture of intelligent distribution network based on distributed component services and proposes a service-oriented basic computing framework, coordination mechanisms for various modules, and distributed deployment modes. We propose a smart grid management service system integration framework based on the Internet of Things service system, give its architecture and functional modules, and elaborate on the key technologies, methods and processes of each module. Finally, the simulated user applies for the user identification service for theft of electricity, which realizes the unified processing and security authentication of data packets in the entire platform, which can effectively solve the problems of massive data management and data integrity protection and reliability authentication, which is the ubiquitous big data technology. The application of microgrid provides technical support. © 2022 IEEE.

This article provides an overview of the different types of Internet of Things (IoT) architectures, with more emphasis on new seven-layered model architecture for future big data-driven smart homes applied when building a system for achieving energy efficiency. One of the next evolutionary stages in Internet-based computations is the Internet of Things (IoT), which is already making a beneficial difference in a wide range of application sectors, including smart cities, sustainable living, healthcare, production, etc. We can transform the conventional grid into a more effective and intelligent energy grid with the help of IoT. The standards for various IoT technologies, including sensing, communication, and computing technologies, as well as how they relate to smart energy grids, will be the main focus of this article. Additionally, this article gives a thorough outline of the prior research on its IoT applications for Smart grid systems. We conclude by highlighting a brand-new layered architecture that is suggested for the management and processing of massive data in future Smart Homes. The suggested Representational State Transfer (REST)-based architecture for future smart homes' efficient data interchange and processing activities has seven layers, including physical, fog computing, network, cloud computing, service, session, and application. © 2022 IEEE.

Due to the rise in computer power, tools, and data collection, artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming more and more prevalent in diverse photovoltaic (PV) system applications. The basics of grid-connected multilevel inverters for PV systems is provided, together with information on the drivers, characteristics, evaluation criteria, topologies, modulation schemes, and selection criteria for various applications. The results of a thorough reliability investigation of basic 15L multilevel inverter (MLI) are examined in this study. The inverter is the most crucial component of a grid-connected PV system. This study provides a survey of the system topologies and grid-connected PV inverters utilized for PV systems linked to the grid.

In many computing applications, grid-based algorithms are essential, particularly in the gaming industry where performance, shortest path and efficiency are crucial. In order to find the best algorithm for gaming settings, this research emphasizes the importance of grid-based algorithms. The primary objective is to evaluate and contrast the various grid-based algorithms’ performances while taking into account both weighted and conventional grid configurations. The implementation of the Dijkstra’s, A*, and Breadth-First Search (BFS) algorithms for both normal and weighted grids will provide insights into their applicability for gaming applications. Also, in weighted grid factors, the method known as Jump Point Search with weight will be incorporated for additional comparison. A number of measures, such as cost analysis, time complexity, space complexity, and weight complexity, will be used to conduct the evaluation process. By comparing these algorithms to one another through the process of benchmarking, the aim is to identify which algorithm offers the highest performance across all of these measures. The results of this investigation will offer significant recommendations for game designers looking to improve the performance of pathfinding algorithms in their works.

With the increasing demands of data computation and storage for cloud-based services, the energy demand of data centers (DCs) is rising rapidly and becoming a noticeable challenge for current power networks. The smart grid (SG) is deemed as the future power system paradigm enabling more affordable and sustainable energy supply, which can effectively relieve the power load pressure of DCs. Moreover, with growing concerns regarding harmful emissions due to combustion of fossil fuels, the exploitation of renewable energy sources (RES) has attracted extensive attention, benefiting both SGs and DCs at large. However, the geo-distributed property of DCs and SGs, as well as the uncertain nature of RES production pose severe challenges to the optimal management of computation and energy resources in such coupling system. Focusing on these issues, a joint energy and computation workload management framework is proposed for enabling a sustainable DC paradigm with distributed RES. Specifically, to model the interactions between data center operator (DCO) and SGs, a Stackelberg game is formulated. The SG offers the DCO an electricity selling price to maximize the benefit. The DCO allocates the computation workload to geo-distributed DCs, aiming to minimize the costs of energy consumption and carbon emissions. We obtain the equilibrium state of the game and prove its uniqueness and optimality. Simulation experiments are conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme, showing that it can achieve considerable cost savings over counterparts. The proposed approach and obtained results provide useful insights for helping the DCO developing rational management strategies. © 2021 IEEE.
