In the dispersion problem, a group of k <= n mobile robots, initially placed on the vertices of an anonymous graph G with n vertices, must redistribute themselves so that each vertex hosts no more than one robot. We address this challenge on an anonymous triangular grid graph, where each vertex can connect to up to six adjacent vertices. We propose a distributed deterministic algorithm that achieves dispersion on an unoriented triangular grid graph in O(root n) time, where n is the number of vertices. Each robot requires O(log n) bits of memory. The time complexity of our algorithm and the memory usage per robot are optimal. This work builds on previous studies by Kshemkalyani et al. [WALCOM 2020 [17]] and Banerjee et al. [ALGOWIN 2024 [3]]. Importantly, our algorithm terminates without requiring prior knowledge of n and resolves a question posed by Banerjee et al. [ALGOWIN 2024 [3]].

Electric power computing resources are distributed in the respective regions of provincial data centers and transmission and transformation equipment, and the scheduling efficiency of computing resources is limited by conditions such as long distribution locations. Composite data model inference has been widely used in power equipment maintenance analysis, and large-scale model inference requires the use of distributed computing resources. In order to improve the scheduling and fusion efficiency of distributed computing power resources, this paper adopts a lightweight language model to infer and calculate the scheduling parameters of computing power resources in different regions. At the same time, in order to make more rational use of computing power resources, the intelligent models and algorithms used for power equipment maintenance are optimized. Configure the adaptation parameters of the model according to different application scenarios, and adjust the fusion method of input data for the fault diagnosis model and the classification strategy for the fault prediction model separately. Using a fine-tuning language model to map the predicted results to the semantics of power business, and then enhancing the rationality and interoperability of the answer results based on historical knowledge memory, ultimately pushing the reasoning results of the reasons and the classification results of the equipment defect diagnosis classifier to the equipment diagnosis designer. © 2025 SPIE.

Exploration of a graph network means each node of the graph has to be visited by at least one robot. The problem of exploration has been studied in various networks like rings, trees, finite rectangular grids, etc. If we consider infinite domain, previous works solved the problem on infinite rectangular grid and the robots have common chirality. In this work, we have studied the problem of exploration of infinite triangular grid. We have given an algorithm that works under a fully synchronous scheduler. Five robots can explore the infinite triangular grid without collision executing the algorithm. We have used myopic luminous robots. The lights of the robots can be of four different types. Each robot can see up to two hop distance. The robots are without any chirality and there is no axis agreement among the robots. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

A Cutting edge modern day technology for the existing conventional power system is the idea of smart grid. To eradicate climate changes, market variations and security of power supply in near future smart grids help in restructuring the power structure. Smart grids are applied to low carbon energy emissions, electric vehicles, microgrid, renewable energy, flexible power system, distributed energy resources (DER's), advanced metering infrastructure, fuel markets, customer support etc. In this paper, Analysis of DC Microgrid is implemented with distributed generation. On site generations like PV, wind and battery act as input sources and deliver output to the load. The proposed model is simulated in MATLAB Simulink and the results are verified for the operation of DC Microgrid using distributed energy resources. Results highlight upon the flow of power continuously using any one the input resources. The structure is implemented in MATLAB/Simulink and the results are tabulated. © 2025 IEEE.

One of the fundamental problems of distributed systems that has been extensively studied is the exploration of different network topologies. In exploration, each node of the graph network has to be visited by at least one robot within a finite time. Existing literature typically assumes on various networks like lines, rings, tori, arbitrary networks, and rectangular grids. To the best of our knowledge, no existing work has addressed the exploration problem considering triangular grid. In this work the exploration problem is considered on rectangle enclosed triangular grid (RETG) with myopic robots, where the visibility of the robot is limited to a specific distance, denoted as φ, since infinite visibility becomes impractical for a very large network. The robots are luminous and work under FSYNC scheduler. Firstly the cases where the perpetual RETG exploration is not possible are discussed in three impossibility results. Then two algorithms are provided to solve the exploration problem on RETG. The first algorithm requires two robots without common chirality, φ = 1, and three colors of light. The second algorithm requires two robots with common chirality, φ = 2, and two colors of light. Using luminous robots to decrease both visibility and the number of robots is a nice trade-off from the implementation's point of view as increasing visibility is more expensive than using robots with a light having finite colors. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

The primary goal of the economic dispatch (ED) is to organize the generation schedule to fulfill system energy demand at the lowest possible operational cost while meeting all other requirements, including system security and reliability. The inclusion of smart grid technologies requires advanced computational techniques and increased problem-solving capabilities to manage effectively. The in-house computing infrastructure has drawbacks, such as high costs, operational complexity, limited flexibility, and security risks. Even though cloud computing is a substitute, it faces the major challenge of storing sensitive data, such as power system data, in the cloud, which could put organizations at risk of cyberattacks. We propose an outsourcing model of distributed linear programming (LP) that solves large-scale economic dispatch problems. Moreover, for the preservation of data confidentiality, we transform our LP into a confidentiality-preserving LP. We have shown the efficacy of our model by implementing on the real-life Bangladesh power grid system. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Due to the lack of rationality of channel resource allocation in the transmission phase, the effect of transmission has certain limitations, therefore, a study on the secure transmission of ciphertext data in the cloud of power Internet of Things (IoT) based on the dynamic tree topology is proposed. When planning the channel resources in the secure transmission of ciphertext data in the cloud of electric power Internet of Things using the frame slot allocation algorithm in the dynamic tree topology, the parent-child relationship in the tree topology subdivides a single superframe into multiple frames and further divides each frame into three independent time slots, and avoiding the time slot conflict within the vertical distance of two hops from the perspective of improving the overall efficiency of the network;Ciphertext transmission is realized under the distributed consensus mechanism. In the test results, the data transmission completion effect is always stabilized above 0.975, and the energy consumption is always lower than that of the control group. The surge in distributed energy resources connected to the power grid has significantly heightened challenges for grid operators. While the integration of micro-synchrophasor unit (μPMU) into the power grid infrastructure has facilitated the acquisition of high-resolution data, analyzing such vast datasets presents its own set of challenges. This paper offers insights into fifty days of μPMU data through data analysis techniques focusing on frequency events within the operational and hazardous ranges. Drawing from fifty days of real-world data collected from grid-connected solar farm in England, this paper examines and analyzes multiple frequency events while enhancing comprehension of their diverse patterns. With the high proportion of new source loads such as distributed power sources, electric vehicles, and energy storage, as well as the rapid development of new models and formats such as microgrids, integrated energy, and virtual power plants, the distribution network is gradually transforming from a power network that simply receives and distributes electricity to users to a power network that integrates source grid load storage interaction and flexibly couples with the higher-level power grid. In recent years, State grid Economic and Technological Research Institute has focused on original technology research and development in the field of distribution networks, fully supporting the construction of original technology source areas. It has developed a distribution network simulation calculation and analysis platform with completely independent intellectual property rights, supporting the construction of new distribution systems in multiple regions. The development of new source loads may lead to local concentration and overall imbalance, resulting in significant differences in load rates between different regions and lines of the distribution network. This often leads to issues of insufficient or unusable equipment capacity, which is not conducive to improving the overall quality and efficiency of the distribution network. The State grid Economic and Technological Research Institute, in collaboration with the United Nations grid Tianjin Electric Power Company, has established a flexible interconnection technology system for distribution networks, developed the world's first set of corresponding flexible interconnection power electronic equipment, and implemented it in the Beichen National Industry City Integration Demonstration Zone in Tianjin. This thorough research explores the world of blockchain technology and its significant effects on the use of decentralized grids. Decentralized networks have shown promise in addressing the rising need for renewable energy and effective resource management. Blockchain, a technology based on distributed ledgers, presents creative approaches to improve grid oversight, enable through peer-to- energy trade, and guarantee openness and protection in the management of the grid. This paper investigates the advantages and disadvantages of using blockchain in decentralized grids. From trading in renewable energy to grid optimization and demand response, we examine a variety of use cases and applications. We offer insight into the practical viability and scalability of blockchain-based solutions through a thorough analysis of real-world deployments and case reports. We also address the legislative and technological challenges to be solved before blockchain technology can realize its full potential in decentralized grid setups. Our research strongly emphasizes that regulatory architectures, seamless integration, and standardization all contribute to supporting the harmonious adaptation of blockchain technology worldwide. This study provides lawmakers, industry players, and investigators in the efforts to build a sustainable and effective energy future with an informative tool: it will shed light on the potential and constraints presented by blockchain technology in a decentralized environment of grid usage. © 2025 IEEE.
