This paper deals with system-identification for a distributed parameter heating process where a solid substrate is moving through a spatially extended heating zone and heated up by applying hot air to its surface. The temperature distribution inside the substrate is modeled in a spatial plane, where heat conduction is considered in the direction, perpendicular to the direction of movement. In contrast to previous work, where scalar model parameters (e.g. the thermal parameters of the substrate) have been identified, here, the quantities for the heat transfer (heat transfer coefficient and air temperature) are identified as functions yielding a significantly improved fit to the measurement data. This improved system-identification is performed for two early-lumping modeling approaches, which differ in the way the advection term in the governing Partial Differential Equation is discretized: one uses Eulerian coordinates, where the computational grid is stationary, whereas the second employs Lagrangian coordinates where the grid is moving with the substrate. The differences of the two approaches are discussed with the main focus on numerical diffusion. Especially its impact on the system-identification is investigated: although the fit to the measurement is comparably good in both cases, very different solutions are obtained for the identified functions which, we argue, is due to the optimizer counteracting the smoothing effect of numerical diffusion. Multi-station integrated power grid system has a large number of cloud and edge data centers. It needs to solve the problem of collaborative use of cloud, edge and terminal resources, realize the rapid migration of computing tasks in the case of failure, and achieve the consistency of primary and standby resources in the cloud and edge. It needs to solve the problem of streaming processing in high concurrent state. This paper studies the resource scheduling optimization technology adapted to the power cloud edge collaboration, innovatively proposes a multi-data center resource optimization and upgrading method based on the graph data structure, adapts to the multi-center resource optimization and upgrading scenario, uses the RDF resource description framework, TLGM data model to build the multi-data center resource database, uses the global scheduler, the edge scheduler to process the calculation request, uses the data linkage state data model, scheduling rules The probability calculation matrix converts the resource consistency and resource utilization into graph query, and uses the original graph retransmission, subgraph merging technology and efficient load balancing to realize graph query, so as to realize the optimization and upgrading of resources in multiple data centers. This paper innovatively proposes a stream data processing method that is suitable for the cloud edge collaborative multi- data center scenario. It is suitable for the cloud edge collaborative multi-data center stream data processing and analysis scenario. The stream business control and orchestration center construct a serial-parallel collaborative flow analysis process based on the pipeline processing model and parallel processing model. The flow control center control terminal, edge data center, and cloud data center implement flow analysis and scheduling according to the business priority, give full play to the advantages of cloud edge collaborative multi-data center distributed computing

The construction of energy Internet can realize the massive collection of load-side data, and the local utilization of load-side data through edge computing devices can effectively reduce the pressure of cloud computing and communication system, but the computing and solving ability of edge devices is worse than that of cloud, and too many computing tasks of edge devices may also affect the overall scheduling. Therefore, this paper combines big data mining technology to analyze the data analysis and decision support in the cyber-physical systems of energy Internet, and studies the optimal scheduling method of energy Internet in cloud edge environment around the multi-energy complementary process and accurate demand response of energy Internet. The research results show that the energy Internet information model based on information physical fusion takes into account the plug-and-play characteristics of distributed devices in the network, and at the same time reflects the multi-time scale characteristics of energy Internet, taking into account the autonomy of specific devices in the network and so on. From the experimental evaluation, it can be seen that big data mining has a good effect on data analysis and decision support in energy Internet cyber-physical systems. © 2023 ACM.

In urban construction, all energy infrastructures have been realized by the information structure. However, due to the non-uniform structure of each energy network, the data cannot be more compatible, and the communication guarantee based on the Internet of Things is one of the most urgent problems to be solved. In this paper, a reasonable network computing offloading model is designed in the edge computing layer, and the computing offloading algorithm is introduced. Considering the dependency between subtasks, an optimization problem is established, and a central scheduling algorithm is proposed to solve it. An optimized distributed unloading algorithm is proposed according to the solution idea of the classical distributed unloading algorithm. Simulation results show that the optimized distributed unloading algorithm proposed in this paper has good solving efficiency and performance, and reduces the task processing delay. At the same time, the experimental simulation proves that the efficiency of multiple edge servers in processing subtasks is higher than that of a single server. It is established that changing the convergence speed and communication delay stability margin of the system by changing the system eigenvalue is beneficial to design a better communication network structure to keep the system stable. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In large-scale distributed storage systems, the repair bandwidth, i.e., the amount of data downloaded for failures, is one of the most important factors that determines the performance of the system. In this paper, we design a novel cooperative repair scheme, specifically, for Zigzag MSR codes with optimal repair bandwidth, enabling the repair of any h=2 failed nodes. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first cooperative repair scheme for Zigzag MSR codes. In contrast to the previous cooperative repair MSR codes, our scheme extremely reduces the size of finite field to Fq, q ≥ n+1. © 2023 IEEE.

All throughout the world, traditional power systems are facing increasing depletion of fossil fuel supplies, low energy efficiency, and pollution. These concerns have sparked a new trend of integrating renewable/non-conventional energy sources into utility distribution networks to generate power locally at distribution voltage. Natural gas, biogas, wind power, solar photovoltaic cells, combined heat and power systems, microturbines, and Stirling engines are examples of renewable energy sources. At distribution voltage levels, it translates a wide range of renewable and non-conventional energy sources and loads. A Micro-grid system is a novel technology that improves grid reliability while also providing alternate energy sources. The initial model of a small scale microgrid system is simulated using MATLAB/Simulink to implement the project. The distributed generators (DG) in a micro-grid have enough capacity to handle all, or almost all, of the load linked to the micro-grid. The system is intended to operate in both islanded and grid-connected setups. The goal of this work is to provide the basis for subsequent research and the construction of a more comprehensive micro-grid model, providing for a complete knowledge of how MGs function. Micro-generations based on renewable sources, such as wind and solar, have the greatest promise for producing emission-free electricity in future power systems. The principal renewable power generating units in the proposed micro-grid system are a solar generation unit and a wind farm. A prototype model with a solar panel, wind generator, and battery as storage device with light load is intended for hardware implementation to examine how the load is shared by the different micro sources. © 2022 IEEE.

In order to effectively manage power demand, optimize energy usage, and integrate distributed renewable energy production, home energy management systems, or HEMSs, are essential. The primary aim is to optimize energy efficiency while maintaining customer comfort. Numerous factors, including as energy prices, meteorological conditions, load the profiles, and customer comfort levels, influence how HEMSs function. They greatly reduce the amount of power used in both personal and business smart networks as they become more and more common. This study performs a comprehensive analysis of the body of research on HEMS, including key ideas, configurations, and the supporting technologies that support their operation. Giving a thorough review of the status of HEMS innovation and its uses today is the aim. The study also discusses popular communication methods used in demand management applications and analyzes current advancements in HEMS computing. The study that follows provides readers with a comprehensive overview of current and upcoming developments in HEMS technology and solutions. In the era of cloud computing and big data, with the increasingly fierce competition between virtual organizations, achieving knowledge collaboration and consistency has become an important issue facing enterprises. This article discusses how to achieve this goal by studying the dynamic shared networking technology of CORBA (common object request broker architecture). First, the characteristics of the technology are analyzed, corresponding rules are constructed, and the system is verified to have the characteristics of interactivity and stability. A new method is proposed to solve the above problems, and the algorithm is improved. The test results show that the response time of the database to process data return and send data at different number of client points is within 9 seconds, which can save time and improve system efficiency. At the same time, the fault tolerance rate is as low as 79% and as high as 94%. © 2023 IEEE.

With the continuous development of power market and the deepening of power system reform, the audit and analysis of electricity price has become an important link to ensure the economic operation of power system and reasonable market competition. In this paper, a design of transmission and distribution price audit and analysis system based on support vector machine (SVM) algorithm is proposed. The system makes full use of the nonlinear mapping and excellent generalization ability of SVM in high-dimensional space to improve the ability to capture the complex relationship of electricity price. The system design includes data acquisition and preprocessing, feature selection and engineering, SVM model construction, model optimization and parameter adjustment, visualization and result interpretation, and system integration and deployment. In the construction stage of SVM model, the system selects the appropriate kernel function and learns the complex relationship of electricity price in transmission and distribution system through training model. In the stage of model optimization and parameter adjustment, the optimal parameters are determined by cross-validation, which improves the prediction accuracy of the model. Through visualization and result interpretation, the system presents the audit and analysis results to decision makers in an intuitive way. The experimental results show that the system based on SVM algorithm is more accurate and robust than the traditional BP neural network (BPNN) in the task of electricity price forecasting. The system can automatically supervise the transmission and distribution price in advance in the power system reform, which has achieved a significant improvement in supervision efficiency. The monitoring results show that in one cycle, the system based on SVM completes the monitoring of more information, which improves the monitoring efficiency compared with the traditional system. © 2023 IEEE.

The seepage flow of concrete face rockfill dam is the key technical index to feedback the safety performance of the dam body. How to accurately predict and analyze it is a very important research topic. By taking the seepage behind the dam of a pumped storage power station as the research object, this paper introduced a Bi-directional long-short-term memory neural network model (Bi-LSTM). Bi-LSTM could simultaneously consider the influence of the seepage change law before and after the research time node on the prediction results so that the influential factors of different time nodes on the seepage flow can be accurately simulated. Based on the basic principles of dam seepage, a statistical mathematical model of dam seepage flow composed of water pressure component, temperature component, rainfall component and time effect component was established. By taking 18 groups of environmental components as input variables and the seepage flow of the dam body as the training target, a seepage prediction model based on Bi-LSTM neural network model was established. The case study showed that the predicted dam seepage values by Bi-LSTM in this paper have higher correlation coefficient R with the site measured values, and the root mean square error (RMSE) and the mean absolute error (MAE) are superior compared with the traditional RNN model. This method has certain scientific research and engineering application value for future research on the prediction and analysis of seepage flow of concrete face rockfill dams. © 2024 ACM.
