To better analyze and process power data to obtain effective information, a power big data analysis scheme based on Hadoop architecture is proposed. We analyze the cloud computing environment Hadoop distributed platform to obtain massive data of large-scale distributed power system. According to the characteristics of intelligent power consumption data, common data mining algorithm modules such as parallel classification algorithm and parallel real-time clustering algorithm are designed, and the implementation of clustering algorithm with different principles is further analyzed. Then, HBase is adopted to access data in a distributed way, and MapReduce is used to realize the visual management of power GIS data. The experimental results show that the parallel processing method of power big data based on Hadoop has high efficiency and good scalability, and the algorithm has good identification ability for massive data in the cluster mode. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Aiming at the problem of poor real-time control effect in the traditional power marketing remote real-time fee control system, a big data-based power marketing remote real-time fee control system design is proposed. First, the overall system architecture consisting of a channel collaborative operation platform, a channel collaborative management platform, a risk management and control platform, and a data sharing application platform is given. The key description includes user behaviour analysis, business behaviour analysis, operation planning, operation execution, operation release, and operation monitoring. Operation report, operation assistance and other main function design. Build a data distributed structure model to realize data collection and sample combination. According to the correlation test results of DC voltage harmonics and voltage fluctuations, the remote real-time cost control information characteristics of power marketing are extracted to realize the adaptive grouping of data. The application of this system in Chinese power companies not only improves the analysis capabilities of power companies' marketing operations, but also greatly improves the accuracy of forecasts. This is important for promoting the sustainable development of Chinese power companies and responding to national policies. Prompt and guiding significance. © 2023 IEEE.

With the development of the smart power grid, the requirements for intelligent, vivid, and real-time power system inspection services are getting higher. 5G, artificial intelligence, edge computing, big data, virtual reality, and other information technologies bring breakthroughs for power system inspection services evolution, but in the meanwhile, making the services more complex and draining large amounts of computing resources. In the 5G networks with collaborative computing enabled in cloud-edge-end nodes, how to reasonably decompose a complex power system inspection service into multiple task clusters becomes a prerequisite for the efficient distributed deployment of the service and its rapid execution. This paper proposes an approach for the decomposition of intelligent power system inspection services. It considers the computing resource requirements of the functional components in a power system inspection service as well as the interactions between them, perceives the computing capabilities of heterogeneous nodes, such as cloud, edge, and collaborative end terminal in 5G networks, and decomposes the service into multiple task clusters which retain the original logical structure. Simulation results show that the approach can produce suitable results, which can reduce the expected service execution time and improve the utilization of network resources.

Microgrid has become progressively alluring among the consumers, consequently, there will be a tremendous increment in its installation in the forthcoming years. It has an advantage that it can be handled in both (i.e. grid connected & Islanded Mode) modes of operations. Its main sources of power are PV arrays, Micro- turbines, FuelCells, Battery storage system, Wind-turbines and the list continues. All these sources are called distributed Energy Resources (DER's). DER's are some sort of localized energy sources, setup at the place where it is required. DER's is one of the fastest emerging sources of power in the current story line. It has helped in dwindling our dependence in the utility grid, lessen the losses and chiefly, being cost-effective. But, the addition of DER's has drastically affected the peculiarities of the microgrid, making its operation more complex and complicated in nature. Meanwhile, it has affected the protection system in an intense way. The bi-directional current flow, irregular shift of the system voltage-profile, alteration of the system-dynamic behavior and a lot more. Apart from this, the precipitous addition of the power electronic devices in the model affects the fault level and are slowly-&-gradually affecting the persuasiveness of the traditionally used protection system. The different obstacles and their consequences on the microgrid have been discussed.

This article discusses creating distributed AI algorithms for edge computing and suggests a model optimization framework using federated learning to boost computing efficiency and real-time system performance. In common smart grid use cases, edge nodes can effectively handle large amounts of real-time data by utilizing distributed architecture, decreasing communication delays with local model updates, and improving the system's performance as a whole. This paper compares the performance differences between distributed and centralized models in experiments. The results show that the distributed model performs well in terms of convergence speed, communication delay and system response time, and has stronger scalability and adaptability. This algorithm can not only effectively reduce network load, but also ensure data privacy and security, providing theoretical support and application examples for the design of distributed artificial intelligence algorithms in edge computing environments.

The use of power monitoring and management system in power enterprises has significantly improved the convenience, fault tolerance, and related economic income of power grid in power supply. At present, there are still many problems in the management system, such as the lack of unified planning. Many functions related to power monitoring and management often need a lot of software to be repeatedly installed in the system to complete the functions required by customers. Meanwhile, this software often has duplicate functions. Power data can not be shared, and the upgrade of the system will encounter many obstacles. To meet the data communication requirements of component-based power monitoring and management system, this paper applies the characteristics of multi-point distribution and real-time and efficient transmission of data based on model-based information transmission. It also applies component-based data monitoring technology to complete the design. For the power data content of monitoring and calculation, a reusable framework is applied to facilitate user expansion. Users can complete the interface layout by dragging controls on the control interface of the power monitoring and management system, and then realize data customization and saving by binding the database. Finally, the monitoring of the power grid data platforms under cloud service is realized, which is conducive to the effective and timely processing of blowout power grid data. It is of great significance to the safe and stable operation of the power system. © 2023 SPIE.

It is a connected smart network that integrates electricity generation, transmission, substation, distribution, etc. In this smart grid, clean, reliable power with a high-efficiency rate of transmission is available. In this paper, a highly efficient smart management system of a smart grid with overall protection is proposed. This management system checks and monitors the parameters periodically. This future technology also develops a smart transformer with ac and dc compatibility, for self-protection and for the healing process. © 2022 IEEE.

Over-voltage faults in the distribution grid need to respond and deal with power equipment in time due to their great damage to power equipment and systems. When the power system realizes the ubiquitous Internet of things, over-voltage faults do not have to enter the ubiquitous power Internet of things cloud platform for data acquisition and integration, but edge computing can be conducted by localized control and distributed processing, data transmission and communication are an important basis for realizing edge computing. Ageing infrastructure in the electricity grid network has been a major impeding factor to the power system growth, expansion, and upgrade. Network reliability has greatly affected the potential transition to a smarter grid design. In this paper, a novel smart grid reliability computation that maps the generation, transmission, and distribution into an automated controller is presented. The system supports hybrid gamma-based energy sources including the transmission and distribution network layers while simplifying complex grid automation. Monte Carlo method and Crammer's rule are employed for reliability computation. Results of smart grid reliability validation with a designed distributed Cloud network, (DCCN), DCell and BCube are used to test the network reliability. Also, a proof-of-concept setup is developed using light C-HF code scripts on the PIC18F4550 8-bit chipset at the monitoring zone for load points reliability housekeeping.
