The explosive growth of new multimediaapplications over mobile networks has attracted intensive research over the years. The main problem in this area is posed by the immense data rate required for multimediaapplications in conjunction with the scarcity of wireless resources. To alleviate this shortcoming, this paper proposes combining mobility management and application layer filtering in order to optimize and maintain video quality. The design of the proposed solution is described in depth, as well as the integration of this approach within the LTE Evolved Packet Core architecture. Finally, experimental results are presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed mechanism.

Many multimediaapplications and online services have risen on the Internet, and they demand high quality of service for their real-time interaction. Although DiffServ has been employed in the network core, it neither provide end-to-end QoS guarantee, nor realize fine-grained flow control, which decrease the effect. To address these issues, we propose an incremental deployed approach, namely Soip, to enhance the capability of QoS guarantee in Internet, and the core idea is to build a software-defined overlay network over ip network, and take advantage of the characteristic of per-flow management in SDN to satisfy the resource demands of these applications. Simultaneously, ip network preserves the differentiated services. Moreover, we present the coupling mechanism to implement the collaboration between software-defined networks and the ip network to achieve better resource utilization. Finally, we validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach by simulation experiments.

Network Function Virtualization (NFV) allows Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to implement key function modules, such as, BRAS (Broadband Remote Access Server), IMS (Internet multimedia System), etc. in virtual machines in a cloud environment. One of the key problems in NFV implementation is the placement of virtual machines (VMs) in clouds managed by different cloud service providers each with its own management interface. It would be helpful if the clients can implement their policies in a multi-cloud environment using a single interface. Our proposed solution is a modular multi-cloud management system called OpenADN that provides a common interface for resource allocation in a multi-cloud environment. The solution is also applicable to non-ISP applications, such as, banking, financial, and other sectors that need to use globally distributed multi-cloud resources. This paper presents a brief overview of the OpenADN architecture. The key feature of OpenADN is that multiple tenants can share the resources and all resource owners keep complete control over their resources. The data plane module of OpenADN is called OpenADN (Open Application Delivery Network). OpenADN has been implemented and brief details of implementation are also presented in this paper.

This article considers up-to-date problems of parallel computing systems development in Russia. The study describes an engineering of an interface for organization of high-performance system with programmable structure and for its partition to specific subsystems focused on applied tasks. The solution is based on the concept of homogeneous computing systems (HCS) relying on the model of collective of calculators. HCS concept was formulated in the Institute of Mathematics of the USSR under the leadership of E.V. Evreinov in 1962 [1]. The approach is particularly relevant in terms of growing popularity of information networks which combining numerous personal computers (PCs). It's obviously necessary to develop software tools to integrate disparate calculators into the system and identify the required number of sub-systems for specific problem solving. An interference into the hardware and software parts of the calculators must be avoided during the software development process. Programmable structure of the computer system is provided at the stage of unification of calculators into software subsystem interface called an agent of DCS PS. The experience of the development of the Interface organization of distributed computing systems with programmable structure and allocation of subsystems for specific applications. The software described in the present document has been tested while an experimental organization of the DCS PS at the department of the computer engineering of NSTU.
