During crises, social media has emerged as a crucial platform for the dissemination of crisis information;however, it also presents challenges such as information overload, demand matching, and rapid processing. This study focuses specifically on the Henan rainstorm rescue case to analyze the information requirements and dissemination behavior of governmental bodies, social organizations, and netizens. Additionally, it applies crowdsourcing theory to examine bystander behavior during such crises. The findings reveal that bystanders publish a significantly greater number of microblogs compared to government entities and other rescue organizations. Furthermore, online documents play an indispensable role in promoting multi-party participation by leveraging cloud computing technology. Consequently, this enhances crisis management efficiency by mobilizing netizens and the general public to actively engage in crisis information governance. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). Neuromorphic computing, inspired by nervous systems, revolutionizes information processing with its focus on efficiency and low power consumption. Using sparse coding, this paradigm enhances processing efficiency, which is crucial for edge devices with power constraints. The Locally Competitive Algorithm (LCA), adapted for audio with Gammatone and Gammachirp filter banks, provides an efficient sparse coding method for neuromorphic speech processing. Adaptive LCA (ALCA) further refines this method by dynamically adjusting modulation parameters, thereby improving reconstruction quality and sparsity. This paper introduces an enhanced ALCA version, the ALCA Central Frequency (ALCA-CF), which dynamically adapts both modulation parameters and central frequencies, optimizing the speech representation. Evaluations show that this approach improves reconstruction quality and sparsity while significantly reducing the power consumption of speech classification, without compromising classification accuracy, particularly on Intel's Loihi 2 neuromorphic chip. © 2025 IEEE.

The secure storage and preservation of data is a very important issue. Different methods and studies have been presented for the secure storage of data. One of these methods is Blockchain based approaches. Blockchain technology continues to revolutionize various sectors by offering innovative solutions for reliable and distributed data management. Therefore in this study, an approach that aims to increase transaction efficiency and reduce storage costs in the Blockchain infrastructure is presented. Huffman coding, transaction clustering and PoW (Proof of Work) mechanism are integrated into the presented approach. The smart clustering algorithm we developed by taking into account transaction similarities compresses data with Huffman coding and includes compressed transactions in blocks. In addition the security of each block is ensured by using the PoW mechanism. The main contributions of our work include a dynamic clustering approach for transaction similarity analysis, the effectiveness of the on-chain data compression method and the performance evaluation of a Blockchain system integrated with PoW. In the experiments, it has been observed that the proposed system saves approximately 35% in storage costs compared to the traditional Blockchain structure and optimizes the transaction addition speed. This study provides an important step towards improving the efficiency and reliability of Blockchain technology from both theoretical and practical perspectives. The proposed approach provides an ideal solution for large-scale Blockchain applications and resource-constrained environments. © 2025 IEEE.

With the rapid development and application of distributed systems and Ethernet technology, higher requirements have been put forward for the clock synchronization of the global network. The IEEE1588 protocol is able to achieve high-precision clock synchronization, which meets the time accuracy requirements of real-time distributed systems. Therefore, this paper introduces the principle of the IEEE1588 clock synchronization technology and constructs a test environment to analyze the clock synchronization accuracy it can achieve from both theoretical calculation and experimental test. The results show that IEEE1588 clock synchronization can achieve sub-microsecond level time synchronization, with high-precision clock synchronization capability, and can be widely used in high real-time distributed systems. © 2025 SPIE.

Diet management requires keeping track of what you eat. The researchers presented a recipe retrieval technique based on food photos that retrieves the related recipes from the taken images and creates nutritional information accordingly, making recording more convenient. The retrieval of recipes is an example of a cross-modal retrieval challenge. Still, as compared to other challenges, the main challenge is that recipes explain a succession of modifications from raw ingredients to completed goods rather than immediately apparent characteristics. As a result, the model must have a thorough understanding of the raw materials processing process. Additionally, the model improves upon the attention mechanisms of prior techniques to mine the semantics of recipes more effectively. The approach enhances the recall rate of the recipe retrieval task by 22% over the baseline strategy, according to experimental data © 2025 The Author(s).

In this work, we propose a low-cost rate splitting (RS) technique in a multi-user multiple-input singleoutput (MISO) system operating in frequency division duplex (FDD) mode. The proposed iterative optimisation algorithm only depends on the second-order statistical channel knowledge and the pilot training matrix. Moreover, it offers a closed-form solution in each update step. This reduces the design complexity of the system as we only need to optimise the precoding filters in every coherence interval of the covariance matrices, but not in the channel coherence interval. Moreover, since the algorithm provides a closed-form solution, we do not need any interior point solvers like CVX, as needed in most state-of-the-art techniques. © 2025 IEEE.

This study pioneers the utilization of the YHGSM dataset to conduct an in-depth analysis of the ramifications of the stratosphere's sudden warming (SSW) event in 2021 on local atmospheric circulation, temperature, and density. The research first validates the precision of the YHGSM forecast data;subsequently, by computing the meridional temperature gradient and potential height gradient within the polar vortex, it elucidates the spatiotemporal dynamics of the SSW event's intensity;ultimately, it scrutinizes the SSW's influence on the ambient atmospheric wind field, density, and temperature. The findings ascertain that the YHGSM forecast data is reliable in accuracy and can faithfully delineate the inception, evolution, and dissipation of SSW, precipitating alterations in atmospheric circulation patterns, pronounced temperature oscillations, and consequently impacting the flight safety of aerial vehicles. © 2025 SPIE.

This paper focuses on the application of Deep Learning technology to improve the performance of V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) communication systems. Of the Multiple-input Multiple-output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system over a traffic environment, supported by Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC) technology, we deploy channel coding algorithm of Low-density parity-check code (LDPC) for correcting error derived from the transmission media. Artificial Neural Network (ANN), an algorithm that can interpret raw data, is used to simulate real-world data. We apply ANN with layers as a mathematical model to train the path gain parameter, which thereafter examined the system performance BER of 5G channel coding MIMO-OFDM system over Rayleigh fading channel. We evaluate the BER and the throughput at different vehicle speeds of 60 km/h or 120 km/h as well as training process of 50 data samples or 250 data samples in scenarios of 2×2 or 4×4 MIMO antennas deployed DSRC technique. From the simulation results, training model for optimizing path gain has yielded positive results in terms of system performance and throughput, even at lower 50 data sample training. It can be said that the moving speeds of vehicles significantly affect the performance of DSRC systems due to the influence of the Doppler effect. After ANN training, if speeding up the velocity, the throughputs of 4×4 MIMO-OFDM system are increasing at lower data sample training. © 2025 IEEE.

Recently, there has been a boom in imaginative medical services technologies that have enhanced the delivery of medical care data. Human-to-human and gadget-to-gadget networks are crucial in people’s lives and function 24 hours a day, seven days a week. MobileCloud-computing becomes a crucial tool in this regard. Given the tremendous improvements in the Internet of Things, such a combination has become a major worry. This study developed a framework that included two essential application components: flexible usage and a server request. The server application records patient data while a Counterfeit Neural Network (CNN) module distinguishes between the two stroke subtypes. Similarly, as a framework for stroke patients, our model ensures accessibility, security, and adaptability by utilising the Stroke dataset for CNN computation and the Multilayer Perceptron Algorithm (MLP), which has been completed without precedent for working with large amounts of data in this extension. © 2025 The Author(s).

The Conditional GAN generates the human faces with certain conditions applied to its features. In Conditional GANs, the generator and discriminator networks are extended to take in additional conditional information during the training process. The generator network synthesizes faces with specific attributes. The discriminator is also conditioned on the same external information which helps it learn not only to differentiate between real and fake samples but also to recognize and potentially control specific attributes in the generated data. By altering the conditionally labelled data supplied to the discriminator and generator, the characteristics of the created faces can be modified. The conditional attributes include hair color, gender, face shape, expression, and age. Applying the conditions while keeping the random noise constant leads to generating faces that exhibit those specific attributes. The convergence occurs while the discriminator can no longer reliably distinguish between real and fake images. This point indicates that the generator has successfully learned to produce realistic-looking images that resemble the real data distribution. The trained generator network can be used to create new, artificial faces when the GAN has converged. © 2025 IEEE.
