This paper designs and develops a single and three-phase electric energy meter calibration assembly line system, and conducts research on large-scale flexible calibration of electric energy measurement. The detection hardware system mainly consists of connection units, loading and unloading units, pallet conveying units, accuracy and multifunctional calibration units, PLC control systems, and calibration software. We need to use the MES production execution system to manage tasks, perform calibration, and process data processing and services, complete information exchange between control software and calibration software, coordinate the actions between the calibration conveyor system and the calibration device, perform calibration and testing, and meet the requirements of each functional unit. We cooperated with the intelligent three-dimensional warehouse, exchange logistics information, complete the automation operation of the entire process, and achieve intelligent electric energy meter detection.

Intubation is essential for ventilating critically ill patients and involves precise maneuvering of a laryngoscope to place an endotracheal tube (ETT). However, training for this procedure is fraught with challenges. Traditional methods, relying on manikins or training with a single sensing modality, fail to adequately convey important interaction information. Such challenge is heightened in pediatric intubation due to anatomical differences that demand greater precision. Furthermore, integrating multiple sensing modalities into a laryngoscope without changing its size presents a significant design challenge, critical for maintaining realistic training scenarios. To overcome these obstacles, we developed a sensorized laryngoscope system equipped with a force-torque sensor, a 9-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU), and tactile sensors. This system, validated in a preliminary user study, provides online feedback on angles, forces, and grip strength through an online feedback GUI. Adopting a learning-by-demonstration approach with both experts and novices, the initial validation confirmed the system's potential, paving the way for expanded trials with more participants.

This paper explores how artificial intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) technology can be integrated with heuristic learning methods in a virtual realm. Heuristic learning emphasizes the promotion of deeper understanding and internalization of knowledge through discovery, problem-solving, and practice. This paper outlines AI-enhanced heuristic learning strategies, highlighting how AI integration enables customized learning paths, immersive simulation environments, intelligent feedback and evaluation, auxiliary functions, and data-driven insights. The designed system structure includes modules for data collection, feature engineering, model training and deployment, knowledge base creation, and user interface. Examples of intelligent learning companions demonstrate the practical application of AI-assisted tools in providing real-time heuristic guidance and personalized support in animation design courses. Through experimental comparative analysis, it is concluded that combining heuristic methods with AI-supported environments can enhance the learning experience of students, providing valuable insights for future courses in terms of participation, efficiency, customization, and knowledge internalization.

In this work we analyze the problem of computing the regions of attraction of a well-acknowledged model in the framework of diabetes modeling and control, the model by Topp et al. Despite the importance of this pioneering model in the literature of mathematical models of diabetes progression, to the best of our knowledge a clear representation of the regions of attraction of specific target sets under suitable conditions appears to be lacking. We address this problem by means of a method employing moment-sum-of-squares (moment-SOS) hierarchy that we exploit to assess the validity of a general computation of the regions of attraction performed through a Monte Carlo simulation. Addressing the problem of the knowledge of certain region of attraction, this work paves the way to future research aimed at exploiting a polynomial version of diabetes progression models to leverage optimal control problem design via occupation measures and momentSOS hierarchy.
