This study aims to evaluate the usability of the Travoy mobile application using the system Usability Scale (SUS) method. The data analysis method used is SUS, which involves 10 questions with 5 answer choices. Based on the conducted survey, the majority of respondents were women (52%) and men (48%). The usability evaluation shows that the overall score of the Travoy application is 63, equivalent to a grade of C-. Although this application is acceptable to users, to achieve better acceptance, a minimum score of 68 needs to be attained. In terms of the adjective interpretation approach, this application can still be categorized as 'OK' with sufficient level of acceptance. Based on the Net Promoter Score (NPS) interpretation approach, the Travoy application falls into the 'passive' category, where users neither reject nor have a strong desire to use the service. The results of the interview with users indicate that the user interface (UI) design needs to be improved for a better user experience, especially in the toll rate feature, digital receipt feature, and the addition of HD in the CCTV feature. © 2023 IEEE.

Polycarbonate materials display excellent transparency, comparable to glass, while also boasting impressive mechanical properties, including high flexural strength and stiffness. Consequently, polycarbonate serves as a vital substitute for metals and glass, with wide-ranging applications across various fields. However, polycarbonate materials also face challenges, such as stress cracking, frequently leading to performance failures in practical applications, so necessary measures need to be taken to address these issues. Against this background, this paper utilizes finite element analysis (FEA) to perform a mechanical analysis of polycarbonate structural components, aiming to identify fracture points and optimize structural *** results indicate that this method effectively analyzes stress distribution in polycarbonate structural components and identifies stress-cracking locations. Employing this method, the design of an LED light shell is optimized, leading to a significant improvement in its mechanical properties and the elimination of stress cracking issues. With continuous technological advancements, the performance of polycarbonate materials is expected to further improve, broadening their application potential. © 2024 SPIE.

The phase-shifted full-bridge inverter is widely used in the field of power electronics technology, aiming to achieve precise regulation of the output voltage and improve the stability and efficiency of the power system. This paper proposes a single-phase phase-shift full-bridge inverter voltage regulation system and its parameter design method based on the LLC resonant network. Combined with voltage-controlled closed-loop control and APFC technology, the working mode of the system circuit is analyzed, and the system parameters are designed. The system simulation model is built in MATLAB/Simulink. The constant voltage output of the system is realized, the power factor is greater than 96%, and the relative error of the output voltage change is less than 2%. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. With the continuous development of social economy and the transformation of energy structure, regional energy Internet has become an important means to promote clean, efficient and sustainable energy development. Based on Big Data (BD) technology, this paper constructs a set of regional energy Internet information management system (IMS) to realize intelligent management and optimal scheduling of multi-source energy. Through experimental analysis, the system has made remarkable achievements in improving energy utilization efficiency, reducing costs and promoting the application of renewable energy. In the aspect of real-time data processing, this system realizes the collection, transmission, cleaning and storage of high-frequency real-time data of various energy facilities, which provides a solid foundation for real-time monitoring and adjustment of the system. The establishment of energy demand forecasting model and the application of optimal scheduling algorithm enable the system to allocate energy more intelligently, make maximum use of renewable energy, reduce dependence on traditional power grid and improve overall efficiency. Through real-time monitoring, predictive analysis and optimal scheduling, IMS, a regional energy internet, has achieved efficient management of microgrid energy and improved the reliability and flexibility of the system. The comparison of the cost and efficiency of regional energy Internet IMS shows that the introduction of BD management system not only improves the efficiency of energy utilization, but also brings practical economic benefits. The construction of regional energy Internet IMS based on BD provides substantial support for the sustainable development of regional energy, and provides new ideas and methods for future energy management and renewable energy application. © 2024 IEEE.

With the ongoing progress in artificial intelligence, human-machine interaction technologies, rooted in electrification, connectivity, intelligence, and sharing, have emerged as the predominant focus for the future of intelligent cockpits. This paper, by scrutinizing the present requirements for information processing from a human-machine interaction standpoint, proposes a head and eye pose detection and tracking method in intelligent cockpits, enabling accurate perception of the driver's intentions. This scheme incorporates three core modules: information acquisition, information processing, and intention perception. To implement this, we employ a Driver Monitoring system (DMS) to gather comprehensive facial data from drivers. By integrating both depth and grayscale feature information from these recordings, we accurately identify key facial landmarks and the precise detection of the head and eye pose of the driver. Leveraging our custom-built simulated driving environment, we then undertake an in-depth analysis of the drivers' behavioral intentions using the proposed head and eye position detection method, effectively validating the reliability and efficacy of our proposed intention awareness solution. This research thereby charts a new course for advancing human-machine interaction designs and strategies for intelligent cockpits, offering a fresh perspective of the head and eye pose detection and tracking method that can pave the way for enhanced safety, efficiency, and user experience in the cockpits of tomorrow. © 2024 IEEE.

Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium (NPK) as elemental macro nutrients are highly indispensable for augmenting agricultural productivity. The amalgamation of NPK sensors with Internet of Things (IoT) technology within the domain of precision agriculture has garnered substantial scholarly interest. This integration facilitates the contemporaneous and meticulous monitoring of soil nutrient levels, thereby allowing farmers to discerningly optimize Fertilizer Use Efficiency (FUE). Such precision not only engenders heightened crop yields but also serves as a bastion against soil pollution, thereby reinforcing environmental stewardship to bolster the economic sustainability of farmers. In the multifaceted context of varying nutrient exigencies across diverse crop species at different testing intervals within agro-ecosystems, rapid development is highly necessitated. In response to this constraint, the current scholarly discourse expounds upon the pioneering development of an innovative NPK sensor, rooted in the venerable photometric principle. The crux of this method lies in the detection and quantification of light refraction in the resultant solution, meticulously orchestrated through the perceptive deployment of a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) and a sophisticated ARM microcontroller. The efficacy and precision of this system are corroborated through the rigorous application of statistical models, thereby substantiating its operational linearity to mark a significant step toward sustainable and efficient agricultural practices. © 2023 IEEE.

To solve the traffic safety problems that arise during "mixed traffic" between autonomous and manual vehicles, this paper presents a harzard scenario simulation and safety assessment method based on autonomous driving crash reports. 197 crash reports of autonomous vehicles are selected from California Department of Motor Vehicles and used for autonomous driving hazard scenario extraction. Combining 37 pre-collision scenarios published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, typical traffic safety scenarios are identified. A random forest model is used to identify key elements of typical autonomous vehicle accident scenarios. The CARLA microscopic traffic simulation platform is used to simulate two typical "mixed traffic" safety scenarios: Lead Vehicle Stopped and Following Vehicle Making a Maneuver. Three indicators - relative velocity, relative distance, and time-to-collision - are selected for constructing a safety evaluation suitable for autonomous vehicles. The research results show that in the Lead Vehicle Stopped scenario, when the following vehicle is 15 meters away from the front vehicle, the risk of collision is extremely high when the initial speed of the following vehicle is greater than 13.1 m/s. In the Following Vehicle Making a Maneuver scenario, when the initial speed of the following vehicle is greater than 12.5 m/s, the risk of collision with the front vehicle is also extremely high. The results can provide support for the safety evaluation of autonomous driving and the improvement of autonomous driving system. © 2024 SPIE.

The development of machine learning and Internet-Of-Things has helped to break down barriers in health and medical facilities. In this paper, we propose SmartHealth, a smart diabetes prediction framework in an Internet-Of-Things (IoT) system based on machine learning. The factors (attributes) affecting diabetes are gathered from individuals using a collection of IoT devices and recorded in our designed SmartHealth mobile application. We design the machine learning models using different algorithms, such as k-Nearest Neighbour, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Decision Tress, and Multi Layer Perceptron and determine the best performing model among them. This model has been pre-trained and is used to predict the result of the individuals based on the collected data (attributes) that is uploaded in the edge server. Different results and plots are obtained that convey the performance of our SmartHealth framework. © 2024 IEEE.

In the existing literature, a variety of distribution network optimization methods have been proposed, including genetic algorithm, ant colony algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm. However, these methods have many optimization variables and complex constraints, and the traditional optimization methods are easy to fall into local optimal in the solving process. The main objective of this paper is to design a multi-objective optimization algorithm based on PSO for the optimal scheduling of autonomous vehicle systems in distribution networks. Particle swarm optimization (PSO), as a new swarm intelligence optimization algorithm, has become an effective tool to solve multi-objective optimization problems because of its simplicity, global search ability and fast convergence speed. The application of PSO strategy to the multi-objective optimization of distribution network autonomous vehicle system is expected to overcome the shortcomings of traditional optimization methods and achieve more efficient and reliable optimization results. The main contribution of this paper is to effectively balance multiple optimization objectives and improve the overall performance of the system. Under single objective optimization, the average driving distance from vehicle 1-5 to area 1-5 was above 3 kilometers;under multi-objective optimization, the average driving distance of vehicles 6-10 to areas 1-5 was mostly within 3 kilometers. By optimizing the operation and management of the distribution system, sustainable development of the power system can be achieved, reducing its impact on the environment and improving social and economic benefits. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, UAVs (unmanned air vehicles) have shown great application potential in the fields of logistics transportation, disaster relief, agricultural plant protection and military missions. However, the endurance and power supply efficiency of UAVs are the key factors restricting their application. Under the background of continuous breakthrough and development of wireless charging technology, this paper proposes a shelter autonomous wireless charging technology scheme for rotor UAV cluster. The application scenario analysis and overall design, motion scheme design, overall layout structure design and key component design selection of the autonomous wireless charging shelter are carried out. Based on the LabVIEW programming language, the shelter motion control and energy management system are designed and developed, and the design and performance verification of the autonomous wireless charging shelter of the UAV group are completed. The shelter can realize the functions of autonomous cruise, auxiliary precise berthing, autonomous wireless charging and unmanned remote control of the rotorcraft UAV, significantly improve the endurance and efficiency of the rotorcraft UAV, and effectively expand the operation mode and application field of the rotorcraft UAV. © 2023 IEEE.
