Screening of the lower gastrointestinal (GI) tract is of paramount importance for the early detection of precancerous lesions in the intestine, with an impact on reducing the high death rate of patients affected by cancer worldwide. Colonoscopy, i.e. standard procedure for screening the colon, is effective in reducing the incidence of colorectal cancer worldwide, nonetheless, this procedure remains an invasive method of screening, that typically causes discomfort and requires sedation for the patient. The SoftSCREEN system, a tethered robotic capsule designed for colonoscopy, aims to enable minimally invasive diagnosis of intestinal diseases through its innovative design that incorporates elastic tracks for locomotion and inflatable toroidal chambers for adaptable geometry to match the local lumen of the GI tract. After demonstrating the viability of the proposed design in a large-scale proof of concept in our previous work, the authors present here a miniaturised version of the SoftSCREEN system. We assess its performance in multiple phantom tests and evaluate the effect of pressure regulation on its locomotion. The conducted extensive tests demonstrate the capability of the soft robot to move inside intricate passages, capture internal images, and adjust its geometry to optimise traction. The results underscore the potential of the proposed design, offering promising advancements in the development of a robotic platform for efficient front-wheel locomotion and accurate intestinal screening.

The establishment of rural social security decision-making system is crucial for people's social welfare. The Spark algorithm is employed to filter and segment data to prune frequent pattern trees, optimize parameters, and improve grouping strategies and association rule mining algorithms. An intelligent decision system is designed for index factor and knowledge base management. The optimization method reduces data set resource consumption by approximately 50% and improves execution time, scalability, acceleration performance, and accuracy. The optimization algorithm solves issues of data randomness and uncertainty. This study offers technical support for the rural social security system and aims to improve it further. When support is at 40, 60 and 80%, the optimization algorithm performs well in all iterative processes, and when support is at 70%, the execution time of the optimization algorithm is significantly lower after the seventh iteration. The optimization algorithm solves the problems of randomness and uncertainty of data, improves the execution time, scalability, acceleration performance and accuracy. It realizes the establishment of intelligent decision-making system. This study provides technical support for the establishment of the rural social security system, hoping to further improve the rural social security system.

This study introduces the Cognitive Innovator Xcelerator (CIX), an advanced AI framework designed to optimize the design and integration of these complex systems. CIX employs a multi-faceted approach, integrating intelligent Problem Mapping and ASIT Thinking Modules to analyze and address challenges in hybrid energy systemdesign. By leveraging AI-driven idea generation and solution refinement, CIX facilitates a systematic exploration of potential design configurations. The application of CIX led to the identification of novel, efficient configurations for hybrid energy systems, surpassing conventional designs in energy output and sustainability metrics. Physical testing of the optimized design confirmed theoretical predictions, demonstrating significant improvements in energy efficiency and system integration.
