Embedded systems are increasingly susceptible to attack from malicious software, posing a significant threat to critical infrastructure and data. Various shreds of evidence reveal the unknown nature of attacks. In this manuscript, we propose a novel abnormal behaviour monitoring and detection system by designing a self-supervised hardware-based Self-Organizing Map (SOM) algorithm which continuously monitors the execution status of an embedded program and the behaviour of the entire platform as a whole. Our design boasts low resource utilization, high speed, effectiveness, and broad compatibility, making it suitable for real-time detection of malicious behaviour in resource-constrained embedded systems. Experimental trials were conducted on the Piccolo RISC-V processor being proto-typed on an FPGA, which achieved an impressive 96% accuracy in detecting malicious programs, at the cost of a marginal 10% increase in resource consumption in comparison to its vanilla counterpart.

As the "mother machine" of manufacturing, machine tools have been widely employed, but with high energy consumption, low energy efficiency, and serious carbon emissions. How to reveal the dynamic characteristics of carbon emissions is of great significance for machine tools to achieve green and sustainable development. Existing research neglected the dynamic characteristics of carbon emissions and focused on a single phase for machine tool. To this end, this study carried out the digital twin-driven modeling and application of carbon emission for machine tool considering both the design and usage stages. Utilizing real-time data acquisition and model refinement of digital twin system, this research proposed an adaptive algorithm for the dynamic prediction and optimization of processing parameters. Related management services in usage stage based on digital twin was developed and a digital twin-driven carbon emission prototype system was established. And a milling experiment was performed to validate the practicality and feasibility of the proposed algorithm. Besides, combining with operation data recorded by digital twin model, working conditions of machine tool were simulated in the digital space. Optimization of tool part selection under simulated conditions can be realized during design stage, which makes the closed-loop design for machine tool. Considering both design and usage stages, this research offers a reference solution for the multidimensional, intelligent, and collaborative management of carbon emissions for machine tool.

In this paper, for the AGV navigation path planning algorithm design problems, explored and researched the idea and implementation process of the A(star) algorithm, constructed the experimental environment model of AGV navigation path planning by using grid graphs, and carried out experiments with the help of simulation tools to verify the impact of different neighborhood node expansion search methods on the path planning speed in the A(star) algorithm. From the experimental data comparison and analysis results, it is concluded that the node expansion search method plays a key role in the efficiency of path planning. The results of the exploration research will provide a certain reference basis for the correct selection of node neighborhood expansion search method for AGV navigation route path planning in the actual production environment.

Bushings are critical components of ultra-high voltage transmission systems, and their performance is intimately tied to the safety and stability of the power system. The application of adaptive composite materials in bushing can realize active field grading of spatial electric fields, opening up a disruptive path for innovative technology. To determine the electrical performance design criteria for the adaptive bushing, this paper discusses the various types of discharge that may occur in the novel adaptive bushing during AC electrical tests. The electric field intensity values during discharge were verified using a combination of simulation and experimental methods. Multiple test prototypes of self-equalizing bushings with various discharge defects were created, and their initial partial discharge voltages were confirmed using partial discharge testing. The finite element simulation models corresponding to the test prototypes were created, the electric field distributions were calculated, and the electric field intensity values at discharge were determined. During the design of the self-equalizing bushing, the maximum allowable air-side electric field value of 2.0 kV/mm and the maximum allowable electric field value of 8.5 kV/mm for the main insulation resin-impregnated glass fiber material were determined using these values and certain design margins.
