In this paper, we propose a novel artificial intelligence (AI) application in open radio access network (Open-RAN) framework to predict positions of user equipment (UE) in mobile networks. Specifically, we first analyze the characteristics of measured value (i.e., signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) value) at the mobile network, which will serve as the foundational input features for the AI application. Based on the analyzed results, we implement the moving average-based preprocessing technique in AI applications to eliminate randomness that could negatively impact prediction accuracy. Then, we design the AI model that utilizes the preprocessed data as input to predict UE positions. The evaluation results demonstrate that the proposed AI application predicts UE positions more accurately than an AI model without the preprocessing method. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to solve the problem that the liquid level measuring mechanism of ultra-low temperature liquid such as LNG is too complicated, a design method of sensor heat insulation mechanism is proposed, so that the instrument can complete the non-contact detection of ultra-low temperature liquid under normal temperature environment. The thermal insulation mechanism is determined according to the measurement process, the heat transfer model of the measurement channel is established, the control structure of the thermal insulation channel is determined, and the functional relationship between its size and heat transfer is established. Finally, the dimensional correlation relationship under the minimum heat transfer is obtained by extreme value optimization. In the typical ultra-low temperature liquid level measurement conditions, the actual structure size and temperature control effect were calculated and verified. Through the comparison with the finite element simulation structure of the structure, it was proved that the proposed thermal insulation mechanism can meet the temperature isolation and heat dissipation control requirements of the ultra-low temperature liquid level. © 2025 SPIE.

This paper introduces a multifunctional signal generator based on STM32 microcontroller for ground electric field detection applications. The signal generator can output a variety of waveforms such as sine wave, triangle wave and square wave, the highest output voltage can reach 600 V, and the frequency can be adjusted within 2 Hz. Through careful design, the signal generator can generate the output waveform with small harmonic components, which is helpful to improve the precision and accuracy of geoelectric field detection. The experimental results show that the designed signal generator has good performance and stability in the ground electric field detection, and has high application value and practicability. The design and application of the signal generator provide a new and efficient detection method for the field of ground electric field detection, which has broad application prospect and popularization value © 2024 IEEE.

At present, China's economy is continuing to develop rapidly, accompanied by a substantial increase in productivity;all walks of life, the demand for electricity is expanding, the volume scale of the power system around the world is also expanding. At the same time the power system's operation and maintenance needs are also growing, the traditional substation manual inspection substation, has not been able to meet the high-quality development of the enterprise requirements. Combined with the characteristics of substation production and operation and maintenance, the article designs and implements a set of substation centralized remote intelligent inspection systems, using the centralized station's powerful network communication capability, highly integrated, openness, scalability, security, and other characteristics to combine the "Remote intelligent Patrol Centralized Monitoring system"and "Regional intelligent Patrol system"with the "Regional intelligent Patrol system. "By combining the system functions of "Remote intelligent Patrol Centralized Monitoring system"and "Regional Remote intelligent Patrol system,"and deploying server clusters through virtualization and cluster design, the system improves and optimizes the operation and maintenance mode of substations, and enhances the ability of substation operation and maintenance in terms of equipment state awareness, active warning, and risk management and control. The practical application results of the substation centralized remote intelligent inspection system in the power system show that the system provides full-coverage remote inspection for substations under centralized control stations, effectively manages the health status of the equipment in the stations, and reduces the operational risks of the substations. © 2024 IEEE.

The application of Uniform design and Fuzzy Analysis to CNC Machine Tool Leveling Accuracy Adjustment

A leveling accuracy adjustment equipment system and module for precision machinery were developed in this study with the fundamental purpose of increasing measurement accuracy and establishing a leveling adjustment method. The leveling system and module were self-developed software and firmware. The sensor module used electrolyte tilt sensors as measurement components. The experimental method was performed in three stages. In Stage 1, intelligent leveling accuracy measurement equipment and system were developed. In Stage 2, the uniform design method was used to design the experiments, and different parameters were verified. In Stage 3, the fuzzy method was used for prediction and verification. In terms of the stability of the self-developed measurement equipment, the precision (Cp value) of this equipment was greater than Class A, while in terms of reproducibility, the Cp value and accuracy (Ca value) of this equipment were of Class B and Class A, respectively. Finally, the resolution test revealed that the minimum resolution attained was 2 μm. In average curve fitting, the fitting degrees of the total X and Y axes of the uniform design method in the designed experiments were 90.47% and 92.34%, respectively. After fuzzy inference, the prediction model adjusted X and Y axes errors reached the target adjustment value of ± 0.02 mm, and the target values of the distance X and Y axes were increased by 88.67% and 62.67%, respectively on average, indicating successful development of the measuring method and equipment. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Korean Society for Precision engineering 2024.

In the electric power system, transmission lines perform a vital role. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and existing problems in the maintenance of transmission and transformation lines through the practical summary of maintenance work, in order to provide a reference for improving the safe operation level of transmission and transformation lines. This article first provides a detailed introduction to the Back Propagation neural network(BPNN) and intelligent optimization of transmission lines. Then, it explores the design of an intelligent optimization system for transmission lines based on BPNN. At the same time, it discusses the design of an optimization system for transmission lines based on the algorithm proposed in this article. Finally, experiments were conducted to verify that the intelligent optimization system for transmission lines based on BPNNs has better accuracy and accuracy in detecting line faults than systems based on random forest models and convolutional block attention models. The fault detection rate of the algorithm in this article is 16% and 21% higher than that of the random forest model and convolutional block attention model systems. The fault location accuracy of the algorithm in this article is 10.88% and 16.11% higher than that of the systems using random forest models and convolutional block attention models. The accuracy of fault type recognition in this algorithm is higher than that of the random forest model and convolutional block attention model systems by 7% and 17.12%, respectively. © 2024 SPIE.

The User Experience (UX) development method plays an important role in ensuring the successful design of the user experience of an application that is effective, satisfying and meets user needs. This study compares two popular methods that are often used in developing UX, namely design Thinking and Lean UX. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the advantages, disadvantages and focus of each method in developing UX designs. The results of this study indicate that the design Thinking method focuses more on understanding the user or is more user-centered, while Lean UX focuses more on flexibility and fast iteration as well as continuous experimentation or testing. Based on this, it is interesting to further investigate how a team determines which method to use in their UX design project, considering that both methods have their own strengths and weaknesses, and there are various factors that influence the UX design development stage, such as resources, time, project scale, and others. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, with the rapid development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) technology, easy-to-control, lowcost consumer and industrial UAVs have been widely used, accompanied by various 'black flying' phenomena that also pose a serious threat to public safety and national security, there is an urgent need for effective technical means to supervise UAV. Because of the limitations of the existing evaluation system of UAV detection and countermeasures strategies, this paper takes the application of various UAV detection and countermeasures strategies in the security conditions of major cities as the background, from preliminary targeting capability, public opinion guidance, detection accuracy, economic cost, effective range, time cost. By analyzing the specific situation model of security in various cities, the analytic hierarchy process is used to design the judgment matrix and the target matrix, and the APP designer tool of MATLAB is used to design the visual program. Finally, a software platform for intelligent and visual UAV detection and countermeasure strategy evaluation system based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is built, which provides a theoretical reference for the detection and countermeasure of security UAVs in various cities. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, with the extensive application of deep learning methods, face recognition technology has been greatly developed. Aiming at the problem of video surveillance in power network, a video surveillance method based on image processing is proposed. In this paper, an intelligent decision model based on knowledge automatic extraction is studied and optimized. In power network monitoring, face detection and recognition technology based on deep learning is a commonly used face detection and recognition technology, including: face detection, face alignment, face size alignment. Aiming at video surveillance image in power system, a new technology with strong robustness is studied. This new algorithm can solve this problem well. On this basis, a power network monitoring system based on computer vision technology is adopted. Experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve {9 5. 9%} accuracy and {9 4. 7%} stability, and can be used in real environment. © 2024 IEEE.
