This paper reports on the design, simulation and hardware implementation of a force balance geophone comprising a high order ΣΔM with the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) feedback loop. The system is simulated and analyzed by Simulink modeling, and obtains a low-frequency and stable system. The prototype engages a conventional low cost 4.5 Hz SM-6 geophone cascaded by two distributed feedback (DF) electronic integrators for high-order noise shaping. Our resulting force balance geophone confirms an extended bandwidth to 0.16 Hz and a simulated NEA of 17 ng/√Hz. These performances shows its potential for highly effective and low-cost seismic exploration. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

With the increasing diversification of unbalanced load in distribution grid in smart city, the three-phase imbalance becomes more and more serious, which has a great impact on the safety of power grid operation and the quality of electric power. To realize the load adjustment in power distribution and transformation for the goal of power loss reduction, this paper firstly systematically analyzes the power loss of each part in the system, and compares the characteristics and balancing outcome between various adjustment technologies on the analysis basis. Then, this paper further comes up with the comprehensive compensation method by combing Static Var Generator (SVG) technology with phase switching technology. This method can not only effectively improve the power loss of low-voltage power lines, but also can realize the optimal balance adjustment in distribution network. The correctness and plausibility of this method is further verified by simulation. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2020.

The large volume of data getting generated on the internet has become an opportunity for data analysts to retrieve information and perform decision-making. However, the extraction of relevant information has turned out to be an extremely difficult task, especially when dealing with big data sources like social media. intelligent approaches like recommendation systems came into existence to deal with such situations. These systems require the capability to deal with various big data sources like user-generated content—reviews, comments, ratings, likes, etc. This work proposes a four-stage recommender system architecture for big data processing using open-source technology stack. With the development of network technology and the encouragement of national policies, education tends to be student-centered wisdom teaching. The use of data mining technology can extract meaningful and valuable teaching and learning information from educational big data resources, and apply the extracted information to education and teaching according to the actual teaching situation, so as to adjust the teaching plan and meet the goal of students' intelligent learning. Based on this, this paper first briefly introduces five kinds of technologies commonly used in education big data mining, and then gives examples of smart education application system cases that have applied data mining and analytics technologies, as well as specific technologies, framework environments, toolkit and platforms, and analyzes the significance and role of data mining technology in wisdom teaching. The rapid observed increase in using the Internet led to the presence of huge amounts of data. Traditional data technologies, techniques, and even applications cannot cope with the new data's volume, structure, and types of styles. Big data concepts come to assimilate this non-stop flooding. Big data analysis process used to jewel the useful data and exclude the other one which provides better results with minimum resource utilization, time, and cost. Feature selection principle is a traditional data dimension reduction technique, and big data analytics provided modern technologies and frameworks that feature selection can be integrated with them to provide better performance for the principle itself and help in preprocessing of big data on the other hand. The main objective of this paper is to survey the most recent research challenges for big data analysis and preprocessing processes. The analysis is carried out via acquiring data from resources, storing them, then filtered to pick up the useful ones and dismissing the unwanted ones then extracting information. Before analyzing data, it needs preparation to remove noise, fix incomplete data and put it in a suitable pattern. This is done in the preprocessing step by various models like data reduction, cleaning, normalization, preparation, integration, and transformation.

With the diversified development of air quality data acquisition and processing technology, people began to gradually adopt the new technology represented by machine learning to predict the air quality data to make up for the shortcomings of traditional forecasting methods. However, many machine learning models applied to air quality prediction generally use batch learning and prediction methods, that is, after a sample study and prediction, new samples will not be learned, and air quality prediction will be increased. The error, which deviates from the track of real-time prediction, is difficult to apply effectively to actual engineering. Numerical control technology is the foundation of manufacturing modernization. However, due to the limitation of software and hardware resources, mainstream numerical control systems are increasingly unable to meet users’ increasing demands for intelligent and open functions. In terms of basic theoretical research, cloud computing is mainly based on universities and research institutes. It has made great contributions to the theoretical innovation of cloud computing. The cloud computing industry has a bright future, but compared with developed countries, the scale of China’s cloud computing market still needs to be improved, and it will still need to strive to catch up in the future. Based on the above background, the research content of this article is a heavy-duty CNC machine tool based on cloud computing. This paper first introduces a cloud computing scheduling algorithm based on dynamic substantial path driving and applies it to a CNC machine tool system. The combination of next-generation information technology such as big data is the starting point. Based on the analysis of the mainstream NC system structure at home and abroad, a cloud-based NC system architecture is proposed. Users can access the cloud application center through the CNC system to obtain services. The application center provides general software for the CNC industry. Users can also add their own customized software in the application center. Finally, through experimental simulation, the results prove that the Bayes reliability evaluation method based on the proposed heavy-duty CNC machine tool considering the degree of maintenance is more in line with reality. In addition, it can be seen from the Speedup average analysis that the performance of the proposed algorithm is surpass the algorithms HEFT, HEFT-Lookahead, and CEFT, which is 17.9% better than the algorithm HEFT, 14.5% better than the algorithm HEFT-Lookahead, and 10.2% better than the algorithm CEFT. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland
