Nowadays, a great deal of attention is devoted to the relevant problem of supporting big data analytics from social systems (e.g., social networks, smart city applications, skill management platforms, and so forth). Following this innovative trend, the opportunity of adopting advanced OLAP-based tools for supporting the knowledge extraction phase from big social data represents the new frontiers for big social data computing. Indeed, the well-known features of multidimensional data analysis are able to support a "rich"extraction of actionable knowledge, beyond actual limitations of alternative procedural approaches. In line with this emerging research challenge, this paper explores benefits, limitations and challenges of OLAP-based big data analytics tools over (big) social data. © 2020 ACM.

It is more and more important to strengthen the security management of power information network. Online purchase portals have a spectacular opportunity for business expansion. E-commerce portals have data repositories pertaining to online transactions that could be analyzed through data analytics to find valuable insight for further expansion of business as well as targeted marketing. This study has made an attempt for the implementation of data analytics over the shared data set of Turkey-based e-commerce company. Precisely, a comparative analysis of supervised machine learning algorithms has been worked out for predicting customer behavior and products being brought. Their efficiency has been found out and they have been ranked purpose wise. The implementations of algorithms are carried out in Python.

The rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) is a product of the emergence of the mobile Internet and the new generation of information technology. It is of great significance to the upgrading and transformation of industries, agriculture, and cities. As one of the cutting-edge technologies with great application value, the IoT is characterized by its green, intelligent, and sustainable development, which makes it a promising foundation and an important engine for future technological progress and economic development. This paper starts with the status quo of the development of the IoTs, takes the national development policy as a basis, and focuses on the technical difficulties and application bottlenecks of the IoTs. The key technologies and application areas of the IoTs are also introduced to give a reasonable prediction of its future trend. The development of the IoTs will play an active role in the promotion of industries, agriculture, and cities.

In order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of building data acquisition in smart city, this paper proposes a novel building data acquisition method based on big data technology, Internet of things technology and cloud computing technology. This method mainly integrates computer-aided design technology, building information model technology and radio frequency identification technology, and uses case analysis to realize an efficient and scientific building data collection in a smart city. The research results show that this method can promote the efficiency and accuracy of building data collection in smart cities, and promote the leap from traditional buildings to intelligent buildings. © 2020 IEEE.

With the emergence of wearable technology, IoT, and Edge computing, the nature of healthcare is rapidly shifting towards digital health aided by these ICT technologies. At the same time, consumer devices, such as smart, wearable fitness watches are gaining market share as a way to monitor physical activity and wellness. Despite these advances, and their ability to capture longitudinal behavioural patterns, these devices have yet to be fully leveraged within the healthcare system. If the user-generated data from such devices could be collected without compromising an individual's privacy, these insights could comprise part of a more holistic and preventative healthcare solution. In this article, we propose an Edge-assisted data analytics framework that uses Federated Learning to re-train local machine learning models using user-generated data. This framework could leverage pre-trained models to extract user-customized insights while preserving privacy and Cloud resources. We also identify some potential application scenarios and discuss research challenges to be explored within the proposed framework.

The rural economy is restricted by many factors. It is necessary to integrate data analysis technology and dig into comprehensive evaluation indicators that meet the level of rural development. In this way, we can make accurate judgments on rural development and put forward constructive opinions on development. Based on the statistical data of the Statistical Yearbook from 2009 to 2018, this paper takes the new urbanization pilot city Ningbo as the research object and uses MATLAB software for data analysis. Through the analytic hierarchy process and entropy method to calculate the comprehensive weight value, this paper constructs a three-level index comprehensive evaluation system, and calculates the comprehensive evaluation score. The study found that as the years change, the level of rural development in Ningbo has shown an upward trend. At the same time, this paper calculates and compares the scores of the primary and secondary indicators, and puts forward suggestions for rural development after analyzing the reasons. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

With the rapid development of technologies such as the Internet, big data and cloud computing, new changes have also occurred in the financial industry. Big data technology plays an important role in accelerating financial development and promoting financial innovation. This article aims to provide a new way of thinking for the innovative development of inclusive finance by studying the innovative development model of promoting inclusive finance under the background of big data. This article investigates the current situation of inclusive finance by conducting a questionnaire survey on vulnerable groups such as small and micro enterprises, farmers, urban low-income people, and poor people in our city. It is concluded that 78.70% believe that small and micro enterprises have difficulties in financing, slow financing, expensive financing, etc., and insufficient financial services;80.40% think that the development of small and micro enterprises lacks the support of financial resources, and put forward measures to promote the innovative development of inclusive finance. At present, most data theft cases originate from the malicious intrusion of individual hackers to the production database. Therefore, more and more countries attach importance to the next generation of network communication, and a large amount of human and financial resources are invested in the research and development of data privacy protection of network communication. In order to perform real-time monitoring and intelligent control of network communication, the intelligent network communication control center needs to continuously collect the user's network communication data, and if the data leaks, it will expose the network communication rules and living habits of the individual users. In this paper, the actual system of high-speed data communication is realized by OFDM technology, and the problem of network communication data privacy protection is discussed and solved.

Drowning in the huge amount of content of recorded and live video data, relying solely on manual observation by security personnel for long hours is not feasible no efficient. There is a need for an intelligent and smart system which can overcome this difficulty by automating this process. It should alert the security personnel when suspicious objects in the frame are detected. It should also keep false alarms to a minimum. If this is achieved, the work of surveillance will be optimized and the presence of security personnel can be used else-where more labor force is needed. Video surveillance system plays a significant role in the security systems of modern cities since it can detect abnormal behavior and suspicious objects ahead of time as opposed to the late detection by humans. However, due to the expansion of the surveillance network, a massive amount of data is generated which makes the analytics, storage and retrieval of the data challenging.
