Harvesting of mechanical vibration energy recently is a popular idea, but its implementation is still limited due to real size of harvesters and efficiency of the systems. Here provided an idea and realization of smart shock absorber with smart liquid, able to generate electric energy from vehicle suspension excitation and thus damping vehicle vibrations. Linear types of electric generators are not very efficient due to limited stroke, therefore their efficiency of energy transformation is far from ideal. This paper provides experimental research of energy harvesting efficiency using smart liquid core, magnetic core and ferromagnetic core of shock absorber. Comparison of these materials in the shock absorber provides clear ability to use smart liquid as ferromagnetic core in the process of power generating. Such device proves possibility to be implemented in the vehicle suspension and allows power-damping control as well as data transmission energy request. Generated power and its dependency from excitation frequency provided in the result graphs.

With the continuous development of China's economic and social construction, building a strong smart power grid has become the inevitable trend of future power grid development. As an important infrastructure of the smart power grid, smart electricity meter plays an extremely important role in the development of the smart power grid. The fault of electricity meter is the main reason of electricity meter replacement. In this paper, association rule mining is carried out for the fault cause of electricity meters by using the replacement data of fault meters. Based on the association rules mining, the internal relationship between the electricity meter fault and the electricity meter manufacturer, management unit and other factors is obtained. The mining results can provide support for the formulation of the management scheme of electricity meters, further reduce the failure rate of meters, reduce the risk of public opinion, and improves the operation reliability of smart electricity meters. © 2020 IEEE.

As it is said history repeats itself, in 2020, the world witnessed another epidemic with the name of novel corona virus (2019-nCoV). The dataset has been prepared through the information from John Hopkins University, WHO source, along with the data of Indian Government. In this paper, we will take a deeper view through the epidemiological data on corona virus affected patients. We have assessed various trends and discovered patterns through the data. We have studied the outbreak progression of the 2019-nCoV in India through exponential growth model. Various patterns are analyzed like gender affected, age group of people being affected the most and percentage people survived based on assessing delays between symptom onset and initialization of treatment by the professionals. Through modeling of maximum likelihood function, we have drawn an approximate conclusion on number of unreported cases of 2019-nCoV patients (initially as per data). Serial interval taken for other known corona-viruses (nCoV), Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) are used as an approximate measure to predict the number of unreported cases. The counts of unreported cases are more vital than its counterpart as it can cause severe outbreak if not checked. Along with that, we have proposed a LSTM-based architecture to predict the number of cases in India. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this paper, An AABC-based Optimized data Clustering technique using cellular automata in data mining is proposed. In our previous work, Adaptive Central Force Optimization (ACFO) was utilized but it lacks in performance measures. To improve the performance measures in the proposed data clustering technique, AABC is utilized to predict the threshold. The efficiency of the projected technique is analyzed with the help of the brain MR images to cluster the tumour parts in the images. The efficiency of the projected AABC technique is compared with the existing ACFO technique. Also, benchmark functions are utilized to assess the clustering performance of the projected technique.

data is generated by humans every day via various sources such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc at a rate of 2.5 quintillion bytes with high volume, high speed and high variety. When this huge volume of data with high velocity is handled by the traditional approaches, it becomes inefficient and time-consuming. Apache Spark technology has been used that is an open-source in-memory clusters computing system for fast processing. This paper introduces a brief study of Big data analytics and Apache Spark which consists of characteristics (7V's) of big data, tools and application areas for big data analytics, as well as Apache Spark Ecosystem including components, libraries and cluster managers that is deployment modes of Apache spark. Furthermore, this also presents a comparative study of Python and Scala programming languages with many parameters in the aspect of Apache Spark. This comparative study will help to identify which programming language like Python and Scala are suitable for Apache Spark technology. As result, both Python and Scala programming languages are suitable for Apache Spark, however language choice for programming in Apache Spark is depending on the features that best suited the needs of the project since each one has its own advantages and disadvantages. The main purpose of this paper is to make things easier for the programmer in the selection of programming languages in Apache Spark-based on their project. © 2020 IEEE.

Learning was once defined as the function of efforts spent in relation to efforts needed [3]. Provided that effort is closely linked to time, previous research has found a positive relationship between student effort over time and student success, both in university education and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). With the complex environment of tracing and identifying relevant data of student learning processes in MOOCs, this study employs learning analytics to examine this relationship for MITx 6.00x, an introductory programming and computer science MOOC hosted on the edX MOOC platform. A population sample from the MOOC (N = 32,621) was examined using logistic regression, controlling for variables that may also influence the outcome. Conversely, the outcome of this research study suggests that there is a curvilinear relationship between effort over time and student success, meaning those who exert effort for the longest amount of time in the MOOC actually have a lower probability of obtaining a certificate than others who exert effort over somewhat less time. Finally, research implications are discussed.

With the wide application of big data technology in accounting work and the continuous development of Internet technology, accounting informatization has become an inevitable trend in the development of accounting work. This paper mainly studies the service composition architecture of the application system based on the SOA idea, which not only completes the accounting integrated service management platform, but also provides the related web services related to accounting information for other internal independent systems. At the same time, the application service engine provided by cloud computing platform is used to realize all kinds of required financial applications. By using the SOA solution of Hessian, a distributed computing framework that provides users with more appropriate instant information services and related information query functions, and presents the problems encountered in the implementation process and solutions. It realizes the interface and service release between the accounting integrated service platform and other information management systems, as well as the information sharing and resource integration among the independent systems within the enterprise, which finally promotes the efficiency of the accounting staff.
