This paper proposes a novel technique for designing a smart Snickometer for assisting on field cricketing umpires and evaluates its performance for combination of different classifiers and features. Snickometer are used to analyze weak signals coming from bat/pad/gloves when incoming ball hits any part of them. The sound generated are captured from high sensitive microphone attached to the stumps and are synced with video for offline analysis. A decision is made by simultaneous analysis of both video and oscilloscope in slow motion. The traditional method involves manual interpretation and may lead to erroneous judgment. The entire verification process sometime takes too much time. To overcome the limitation of the current working model, a smart Snickometer is proposed. data are collected in real time environment. Feature extracted from these data are fed to different classifiers and their performance is reported. Best classification accuracy of 95.83% is achieved with both K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). Maximum Amplitude and Peak Energy are best performing features.

In today's era, a very large and massive data is generating by different government sectors, private ltd companies, healthcare organizations, etc. A major source of data is social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. Several terabytes and petabytes of data are collected by these organizations and companies. Forget analyzing, simply capturing a huge volume of data is impractical. Several reports can be prepared from this data. The process behind this reports preparation is also a challenging task for the software developers. On average, the data capturing technologies are not as sufficient as the data is generated. All the 4V's of data i.e, Volume, Velocity, Variety, and Veracity are taken into considerations while handling such data. This paper simply focused on several issues like challenges in data, challenges in the process, and challenges in data management. The challenge relates to how to manipulate an impressive volume of data that can reach its destination intact. In short, this work treats all the challenges that Big data creates. In further studies, we will review some related papers and will suggest some possible solutions to the existing problems. Along with this, some of the used algorithms are surveyed in this study.

With the rapid development of Internet technology, Web applications are widely used in all walks of life, and their security requirements are increasing. Unfortunately, at present, the development of Web security technology still lags behind the development of Web application technology itself. The Web application itself and its operating environment are still relatively fragile, and its operating environment is easily forged or modified, making Web applications gradually become malicious. The object of the attack is frequently attacked. This paper investigates and analyzes the common vulnerabilities in web applications, deeply studies the basic characteristics of these vulnerabilities, and understands the principles and solutions of vulnerabilities. The static analysis method is used to analyze the vulnerabilities, and the static analysis methods are used to solve the security vulnerabilities in the Java web project.

This paper presents a model that predicts dynamic pricing at any Electronic Vehicle charging station and the waiting period persisting at that station. The dynamic price and the waiting period are calculated using different parameters, namely the number of cars currently present at a particular station, what time of the day it is, and whether it is a weekday or not. The main purpose of this work is to provide hassle-free charging services to the users as well as improve the functioning of EV charging stations by efficiently managing the load by diverting traffic from a busy EV station to the one with comparatively less number of cars. To achieve this objective, the approach used is object detection model: You Only Look Once (YOLO) to detect the number of cars currently present at the EV station and then passed this number along with other parameters to a linear regression model trained using PyTorch to obtain the dynamic price and expected waiting time. The proposed work has taken into consideration the privacy of the data used by encrypted deep learning techniques. The current baselines only focus on solving problems and uncertainties faced by EV charging service providers, whereas this proposed solution focuses on both the service provider as well as the user. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The integration of more sensory and actuation components to the smart Grid produces high volume of data. Consequently, this big data stretches the transmission, processing, and storage capabilities of the smart Grid infrastructures. The vulnerability of advanced metering infrastructures (AMIs) is on the rise, as more devices are connected to the Internet these days. The aforementioned realities have continued to necessitate a debate on the future of cloud-centered artificial intelligence (AI) services for latency-sensitive user-centric IoT applications. It is rapidly becoming necessary to leverage on the applicability of EdgeAI directly on IoT sensory nodes involved in energy metering. This paper proposes the applicability of Artificial Intelligence situated on smart meter, to perform micro analytics at the edge of AMI networks: Artificial Intelligence of Things. Therefore, a functional AMI model based on IoT and EdgeAI is presented herein. Additionally, an integration architecture for the anticipated smart Grid based on IoT and EdgeAI is presented. On implementation, the proposed model would provide high performance analytics and Edge computing capabilities to enable AMIs initiate instant data check at the source and relay relevant real-time data to the Utility through the Internet.

Multi-Agent Systems (MAS), a group of agents that work together to solve complex problems, always have concerns around trust management among the agents in a cyber physical system. With the technological advancements in decentralization, automation, and interactions between physical and software agents, the demand for using MAS is increasing though trust management between the agents remain challenging. To alleviate these challenges, the focus of this paper is to explore blockchain based smart contracts for trust management in MAS, especially in the following three aspects: analyzing the interaction mechanism of smart contracts within a MAS environment;providing a potential framework for smart contract based trust management for MAS;and finally, discussing the challenges of deploying and integrating smart contracts within a MAS framework. The outcome of this paper provides a novel approach to solidifying agent to agent trustworthy communication.

Detecting head- and mouth-related human activities of elderly people are very important for nurse care centers. They need to track different types of activities of elderly people like swallowing, eating, etc., to measure the health status of elderly people. In this regard, earable devices open up interesting possibilities for monitoring personal-scale behavioral activities. Here, we introduce activity recognition based on an earable device called 'eSense'. It has multiple sensors that can be used for human activity recognition. 'eSense' has a 6-axis inertial measurement unit with a microphone and Bluetooth. In this paper, we propose an activity recognition framework using eSense device. We collect accelerometer and gyroscope sensor data from eSense device to detect head- and mouth-related activities along with other normal human activities. We evaluated the classification performance of the classifier using both accelerometer and gyroscope data. For this work, we develop a smartphone application for data collection from the eSense. Several statistical features are exploited to recognize head- and mouth-related activities (e.g., head nodding, head shaking, eating, and speaking), and regular activities (e.g., stay, walk, and speaking while walking). We explored different types of machine learning approaches like Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Random Forest (RnF), K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), Support Vector Machine (SVM), etc., for classifying activities. We have achieved satisfactory results. Our results show that using both accelerometer and gyroscope sensors can improve performance. We achieve accuracy of 80.45% by LDA, 93.34% by SVM, 91.92% by RnF, 91.64% by KNN, and 93.76% by CNN while we exploit both accelerometer and gyroscope sensor data together. The results demonstrate the prospect of eSense device for detecting human activities in various healthcare monitoring system.

intelligent big data analytics is an emerging paradigm for integrating big data, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
