There are different types of issues in power quality like Transients, Interruptions, Sag or under-voltage, Swell or Overvoltage, Waveform distortion, Voltage fluctuations, Frequency variations and Harmonics which are more sensitive due to large use of power electronic equipment as well as nonlinear loads. These all issues are almost present in industry, commercial and domestic applications. smart grid has been emerged as promising technology for enabling bi-directional communication between the power company and its users to facilitate intelligent and robust emerging power grid systems [1][2]. One important challenge for smart grid designers is demand side management, which can lead to avoid peak hours as well as to reduce the cost for the consumers and power quality issues. In this paper we will use Fuel cell (FC) as well as wind generator as DG sources. Boost converters are used for boosting the output of the FC and then by using inverter it converts DC to AC. In the wind generation, Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) is used as generator which gives large power output, mostly it is used for wind generation [2][3]. The scope of this paper covers the issues in Power Quality for Distributed Generation of smart grid with storage devices. MATLAB software is used for simulation. Here power quality issues are discussed and focus on sag, which is become common issue. FC and wind generators are used as Microgrid which of 0.5 MW and 1.5 MW rating respectively. Ensuring machine health and predicting failures beforehand is of utmost importance. Fog networking is an emerging paradigm of computing. Advances in neural networks research and their benefits in accurate classification make them best candidate for application to prognostics. Ubiquity of smartphones, wearables and sensors is giving rise to tremendous amount of data necessitating intelligentdataanalytics at the data center. Various researches have focused on compression of large deep models for inferencing on smart devices in order to seek answers to issues like reducing the enormity of computation, decreasing the power and memory requirements on these devices. At this point in time, state of the art in inference such as recurrent neural networks (RNN) seem impossible to be implemented on resource constrained devices. Cloud based inference incurs cost in terms of power as more energy is depleted to access infrastructure via technologies such as 3g/4g networks while also witnessing latency issues due to network congestion. A few real world situations offload inferencing to network edge as it is more beneficial to solve many issues like security, privacy of users, redundancy rather than uploading enormous volume of data on cloud. The paradigm, known as Fog computing, is a hot topic in research facilitating edge analytics by overcoming constraints and shortcoming of cloud enabling quality of service (QoS) required in some real world applications such as Industrial Internet of Things (IoT). Fog acts as a medium between edge device and cloud. In this paper, we propose a hybrid approach of using Fog in conjunction with deep neural nets for inferencing. We propose how neural nets exploited by Fog/Cloudlet can provide computational and storage services to nearby devices and it will also put a barrier by filtering the voluminous data to a reduced form for cloud.

In this paper we sketch a vision of future environments densely populated by smart sensors and actuators possibly embedded in everyday objects - that, rather than simply producing streams of data, are capable of understanding and reporting, via factual assertions and arguments, about what is happening (for sensors) and about what they can make possibly happen (for actuators). These "speaking objects" form the nodes of a dense distributed computing infrastructure that can be exploited to monitor and control activities in our everyday environment. However, the nature of speaking objects will dramatically change the approaches to implementing and coordinating the activities of distributed processes. In fact, distributed coordination is likely to become associated with the capability of argumenting about situations and about the current "state of the affairs", with the aim of triggering and directing proper distributed "conversations" to collectively reach a future desirable state. Accordingly, we discuss how such a novel vision can build upon some readily available technologies, and the research challenges that it poses. Two case studies are used as exemplary scenarios.
