smart sensors and medical health technologies are becoming increasingly popular due to their potential for real-time, non-invasive health monitoring and diagnostics. With the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), these devices can track vital signs and important biomarkers, supporting the management of chronic diseases. This study employs bibliometric analysis using tools like VOSviewer to map research trends in this domain, identifying collaborations, emerging keywords, and contributions from institutions and countries. Findings indicate a significant increase in publications and citations, especially after 2010, highlighting influential journals such as IEEE Sensors Journal. The primary focus is on health monitoring applications and advancements in sensor technology, with an increasing use of terms like "machine learning" and "data analytics." These findings provide insights into future research directions and technological innovations that impact medical health applications. It is recommended that future development integrate advanced data processing techniques and apply sensors in infrastructure and smart city environments, aiming to create systems that are more responsive, efficient, and sustainable.

intelligent communities can support high population growth thanks to their well-designed infrastructure. They should have round-the-clock access to utilities like electricity and water as well as better IoT system functionality. This article describes the smart screen, which was designed with edge computing in mind and is capable of carrying out several computations as well as interacting with different apps and tangible objects. The main concept is to store as much data as possible near the edge of the network instead of on distant servers or in the cloud. The compute for offloading on adjacent edge nodes can be managed by the suggested design. It can perform the extensive IoT data editing and analysis required to satisfy the anticipated rise in demand from smart cities. This article proposes Sustainable Development with Edge computing (SD-EDC), a novel strategy for sustainable development. For smart city utility situations, the system is deemed robust and practical enough. The virtualization software for smart cities uses intelligent Display analytics, which is derived from the Internet of Things data gathered by the edge computing architecture of a network. To solve problems like forecasting methods, immediate fashion computing, edge device resource management, etc., machine learning looks at previously gathered data. Lastly, a lot of implementation factors were handled in the created design, and the planning method effectively controls management data. Both criteria are used when mapping software applications for edge devices.

The Research on the Internet of Things (IoT) has paved the way for a revolution in community services. It was found that the application of IoT in a smart city is mainly carried out without major human intervention. The different uses of IoT devices allow interfaces to available systems, improve communication and perform a variety of tasks. In addition, the availability of multiple IoT devices has been shown to be compatible to protect integrity, collect and analyze information, and improve functionality. The study is focused in understanding the critical role Artificial Intelligence empowered Internet of Things (IoT) for creating smart city. The researchers have used extensive data analysis by collecting the data from the respondents to understand the importance of AI empowered IoT in creating better smart city. The analysis is focused in using regression tools and other key data analysis to test the hypothesis. The optical network has been evolving into intelligent infrastructure in which the physical network can be automatically and predictably managed by the deployed software functions in the cyber space. This paper proposes novel construction approaches of digital twin models for intelligent optical network. A tensor based three layers, three slices, and four features framework was presented to promote the traditional optical network to intelligent information infrastructure. In order to proof and realize the framework, this paper firstly introduces four units, namely device unit, management unit, intelligent unit, and service unit, then illustrates how to construct a cyber physical social system to implement the corresponding functions of these four units. In the cyber space, three types of technologies including digital twin, artificial intelligent, special algorithm are used to analyze date and generate controlling instructions for the optical network devices in the physical space. A cyber physical system prototype for the intelligent optical network was developed and demonstrated. We present two application scenarios of the mentioned prototype, namely quality evaluation of the optical network and prediction of transmission performance. Finally, the paper describes future work and evolution trend of the cyber physical system for intelligent optical network. © 2022 IEEE.

With the development of intelligent traffic system, it is critical to use vehicle platooning to improve the safety and efficiency of vehicles. Vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication technology is the key to guarantee the stability of platooning and cooperative communication technique can be leveraged to improve the communication coverage. In this paper, we first constructed an Amplify-and-forward (AF) relay communication network for vehicular platooning where the base station (BS) or the road side unit (RSU) can be selected as the relay node. Then, we carried out the performance analysis of the communication success probability by using stochastic geometry. The distribution of the locations of vehicles and RSUs is modeled by Poisson line process (PLP) and the spatial layout of BSs is modeled by a 2D Poisson point process (PPP). The BS or RSU is selected as the relay node according to their location. By deriving the association probability to BS or RSU, we derive the analytical solution of the success probability of the system. Simulation results verify our analysis and reveal the impact of the system parameters on the relay network performance. © 2021 IEEE.

Retail security and surveillance systems have transformed into data-driven smart solutions thanks to the fast development of technology. This paper presents a new method for improving retail shop security and surveillance by combining transfer learning (TL) algorithms with cloud-powered video analytics. It is now possible to remotely interpret, analyze, and store massive amounts of video data produced by security cameras using cloud computing capabilities. In addition, TL methods are used to customize pre-trained deep learning models for retail settings, allowing for precise event and anomaly identification. This method drastically reduces the computing load on local devices and makes surveillance systems more accurate and responsive. One of the main advantages of the proposed system is that it can monitor the store premises in real time. It can also automatically identify suspicious actions like stealing or damage and inform staff or security about possible risks. By using cloud infrastructure, the system can also adapt to changing security needs and expand dynamically to handle increasing data volumes. Retailers may find useful information for refining shop layouts, product placements, and marketing tactics by integrating cloud-powered video analytics, which allows advanced functions like crowd analysis, heat mapping, and customer behavior analysis. A thorough plan for smart retail store security and surveillance, using cloud computing, video analytics, and TL algorithms to build a strong and effective system for protecting digital retail spaces.

The individual and integration use of the Internet of Things (IoT), Information-Centric Networking (ICN), and Federated Learning (FL) have recently been used in several network-related scenarios and have consequently experienced a growing interest in the research community. Federated learning addresses the privacy and security issues of the IoT data in a decentralized manner. Also, it can be capable of training the multiple learning algorithms through local content except for exchanging data through intelligent Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based algorithms. Moreover, in ICN, the content is retrieved and stored based on the content name rather than the content location address. On the other hand, it is challenging to support the massive IoT devices by the fifth generation (5G) mobile-cellular networks. Therefore, the cellular 6G networks are expected to increase the connection capabilities by 10-100 times over 5G, which necessitates a convergence of Communication, computing, and Caching (3C). At the same time, the in-network caching capabilities of ICN can be attractive features for IoT networks. IoT aspires to link anybody and/or everything at any time and location. However, integrating IoT with different areas is a new academic topic and is still in its infancy. As a result, this research highlights the potential of ICN for IoTs by conducting an exhaustive literature review. This work provides a comprehensive survey regarding these three recent research trends (i.e., FL, IoT, and ICN) and reviews the related state-of-the-art literature. We first describe the main features of each technology and discuss their most common and used variants. Furthermore, we envision the integration of such technologies to take advantage efficiently. Indeed, we consider their group-wise (FL-ICN-IoT) utilization based on the need for more robust security and privacy.
