Trust plays a vital role in ensuring the security of the Social Internet of Things. Due to the increased mobility of intelligent devices, there are frequent interactions between machines and changes in social relationships. It leads to a possible data sparsity problem in the Social Internet of Things. Therefore, it is presented that the trust evaluation model is based on various social relationships. The model considers the impact of multiple dynamically changing social relationships between nodes on trust. The implicit social relationship is mined based on the stated social relationship and potential attributes connecting nodes. It addresses the scarcity issue and the slow start of the Social Internet of Things. Simulations on the Santander smart Cities dataset demonstrate that the approach improves the accuracy and convergence of trust evaluation in both sparse and regular networks. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper mainly studies the use of Apache + PHP + MySQL and big data computing technology to design a commodity trading platform based on big data analysis. This commodity trading platform has multi-style data analysis. The front desk has user personal data analysis, including footprint, order analysis, purchase preferences, consumption information, etc. There are various kinds of marketing data analysis of the platform in the background, including sales profile data analysis, peer hot sales data analysis, sales ranking, etc. In addition, big data computing technology is used to analyze user behavior, collect all access ways of user browsing platform, and process the collected data in depth, so as to obtain a real-time dynamic effect map, dynamically display the access amount and proportion of each access way, and extract valuable information from it, so as to develop an effective promotion plan for the platform and achieve precision marketing. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

data-driven design for cities is improving the quality of everyday life of citizens and optimizes the usage of resources. A new aspect is artificial intelligence, which smart Cities could greatly benefit from. A central problem for urban designers is the unavailability of data to make relevant decisions. Agent-based simulations enable a view of the dynamic properties of the urban system, generating data in its course. However, the simulation must remain sufficiently simple to remain in the realm of computability. The research question of this paper is: How can we make agents behave more realistically to analyze citizens’ mobility behavior? To solve this problem, we first created a simulated virtual environment, where agents can move freely in a small part of a city, the harbor area in Hamburg, Germany. We assumed that happiness is a crucial motivating factor for the movement of citizens. A survey of 130 citizens provided the weights that govern the simulated environment and the happiness score assignation of places. As an AI method, we then used Reinforcement Learning as a general model and Q-learning as an algorithm to generate a baseline. Through randomly traversing the model environment a baseline was created. We are in the process of enhancing Reinforcement Learning with a Deep Q-Network to make the actors learn. Early experiments show a significant improvement over a tabular Q-learning approach. This paper contributes to the literature of urban planning, and data-driven architectural design. The main contribution is replacing the inefficient search for a global maximum of the happiness function, with an efficient local solution global maximum. This has implications for further research in the generation of synthetic data through simulations.

Aiming at the problem of how to maintain stable and secure operation of the smart grid after a false injection attack, the tolerant intrusion control of the system after a false data injection attack is investigated. First, since there is no publicly available FDIA dataset, two datasets are generated: one contains random single-node attacks and the other contains random multi-node attacks. Second, combining AE and Generative Adversarial Network (GAN), and introducing Wasserstein distance and gradient penalty term to avoid the problems of gradient vanishing and pattern collapse that GAN is prone to in adversarial training;at the same time, adversarial training is used to achieve Nash equilibrium, learn spatial relationship between data, and complete the data reconstruction;the method does not need labeled data from measurement instruments, and only requires attack-free historical state data to complete the training, thus it is unsupervised learning. Finally, the simulation results show that the adopted recovery scheme can accurately restore the contaminated state quantities to their pre-attack values, and has high recovery accuracy for FDIA contamination. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

With the increasing trend of population aging, the traditional pension model has been unable to meet the rapidly growing needs of elderly care, smart elderly care will become the most ideal solution. The article mainly analyzes the characteristics of the elderly private data in the smart pension system, and elaborate the various security risks of the elderly private data in the system operation process. In the security protection of the privacy data of the elderly, the following measures are mainly adopted: securely harden the software and hardware of the smart pension system, formulate a differentiated privacy data confidentiality strategy, establish a data management and control mechanism with subdivided rights and responsibilities, improve industry technical standards and laws, and improve user privacy protection awareness. In an intelligent Transportation System for a smart City, seamless connectivity is essential for each user during mobility for efficient data communication. For a group of mobile users in a vehicle (bus/train/flight), due to high mobility, implementing a protocol in order to manage handoffs smoothly is a challenging task. Network Mobility Basic Support (NEMO- BS) protocol was proposed to comply with this requirement. It is an extended version of Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6). But, the MIPv6 implementation in ns-3, which is the most widely used open-source simulator, is still not extended so far, to support network mobility. In this work, we have implemented the functionality of the NEMO-BS protocol in ns-3.25 by modifying the existing MIPv6 module to enrich the ns-3 library.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is growing rapidly in today’s world. A big challenge nowadays is the large volume of data generated between WSN and the cloud infrastructure. Fog computing is a new technology that is an extension to the cloud where processing is performed at the edge of the network, reducing latency and traffic as well. Because of its structure, it has a high demand in healthcare applications, smart homes, supply chain management, smart cities, and intelligent transportation system. Nano data centers (nDCs) are called the tiny computers at the edge of the network. Load balancing is achieved by the current fog architecture. User request allocation technique plays a vital role in fog server energy consumption. The allocation of the user request task to fog servers in a fog environment is a difficult (NP-hard) problem. smart spindles extend conventional electromechanical machine tool sub-systems with additional sensing and local data processing capabilities, according to the Cyber-Physical Systems paradigm, in the framework of Industry 4.0. The article investigates the possibility and advantages of performing local elaboration of spindle-specific data, which allows embedding and protecting the expertise of component creator in form of proprietary data processing algorithms and numerical models. The main elements and functionalities of a smart spindle are discussed, focusing on how they can deliver a competitive performance exploiting edge computing, the convenience of use for the end user and aspects related to data privacy. © 2021 The Authors.
