Cloud computing technology is a series of fusion products of computer technology development to a certain stage, which will bring revolutionary and far-reaching influence to various fields including digital library. The purpose of this paper is to study the design and development of self built database of University Library Based on cloud computing. Firstly, this paper summarizes the concept of the impact of digital resource integration in detail, focusing on the analysis of the technical characteristics and basic structure of cloud computing technology. This paper puts forward the structure of database model, and analyzes the design of self built database system of personalized University Library Based on the demand of users and system performance. According to the requirements of the project development, the experimental results show that in the data integration module, column storage stores and queries the data in columns. Each table consists of a set of page chains, each page chain corresponds to a storage column in the table, and each page chain stores one or more values of the column. HNG index is a combination of b-tree index and bitmap index in the storage. The data is stored in bit mode and sliced vertically according to bit. A large part of data storage can be compressed due to sparsity, and I0 can be reduced. It is suitable for parallel calculation of total and average values. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In response to the existing and predicted skills gap in cybersecurity, educational institutions establish an increased number of studies. Admission boards need to screen large numbers of applicants to identify those with the highest probability of successful completion. To address the current lack of scalable and validated admission procedures with predictive value, we present a validation of an innovative university admission process for a master level program including technical skills assessment via cloud-based virtual labs. A regression model based on data collected during admission assessment procedures is applied to predict later study performance in technical courses. The virtual labs assessing technical skills but also interview component had comparably high predictive values for study performance, indicating a complementary relationship of two distinct skill-sets. The primary conclusion of this research is that cybersecurity technical labs can be used to significantly improve the predictive value of traditional interview-based admission processes for the candidates' later success in technical courses.

Semantic similarity plays an important role in understanding the context of text data. In this paper, semantic similarity between large text data is computed using different neural embeddings. we review the utility of different deep neural embeddings for text data representation. Most of the earlier papers have studied the semantic similarity of text by using individual word embeddings. In this paper, we have evaluated the neural embedding techniques on large text data with the help of Essay dataset. We have used recent neural embedding methods such as Google Sentence Encoder, ELMo, and GloVe along with traditional similarity metrics including TF-IDF and Jaccard Index for experimental investigation. Experimental evaluation in this research paper shows that Google Sentence Encoder and ELMo embeddings perform best on semantic similarity task. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In recent years, with the rapid expansion of urbanization, urban diseases are getting worse. smart city as a sustainable development solution, has played an increasingly important role. Base on the existing smart city evaluation system, this study has constructed an evaluation index system with 5 dimensions and 14 indicators. The AHP method was introduced to calculate the weight of indicators and their ranking. The results showed that among the five dimensions, smart infrastructure is the most important, followed by smart public services, smart public management, and smart industry economy and finally is the smart security system. In view of the following situations in smart industry and smart life, heterogeneous devices cannot be unrecognized effectively and automatically, the cloud takes a long time to response, and the inefficiency of on-site data analysis and linkage processing capabilities, this paper proposes that a cloud-edge collaborative computing framework called CGET. The biggest feature of CGET is that it splits the edge into levels: edge intelligent gateway and edge server. In addition, this paper proposes a method for automatic access, identification and communication of edge-side heterogeneous sensors based on the 'cloud-edge collaboration + edge-edge collaboration' architecture, which realizes the protection of sensitive information of edge-side sensors and the information based on RESTFUL style unified conversion function. Taking elderly ambulance as an example, based on the proposed architecture, the emergency rescue process for the elderly is designed, and the existing intelligent medical rescue process is optimized;taking industrial inspection robots as an example, a intelligent industrial computing model based on cloud-edge collaboration is proposed. The project results provide a new way of thinking for intelligent industry and life services and similar applications. © 2021 IEEE.

In day-to-day life, Time and Health are two precious assets to achieve anything by an individual. In sustaining good health, rural communities confront numerous obstacles in receiving healthcare services. According to the statistics, 26.5% of uninsured rural residents delayed receiving necessary healthcare in the past year. At the beginning of 2020, the use of telemedicine services was already booming, but responses to the COVID-19 pandemic sped up this expansion. In rural areas, one must make sure that telehealth services continue to be compensated at the existing pandemic rates in order to provide proper treatment at right moment with patient’s medical history. To solve this issue, the “smart TeleHealthcare using Blockchain and IPFS ”(STBI) system proposes a secure healthcare solution that merges IoT and Blockchain. The Blockchain network connects the patient and medical team in STBI, and both can communicate with the decentralized storage IPFS. STBI system collects healthcare samples (i.e., which are simulated by sensing temperature using Node MCU board interfacing with LM35 sensor) and displays the health reports (i.e., temperature value) on webpage. The lengthy health reports are kept in IPFS, and the resulting hash value is stored in Blockchain for further reference by doctors. In STBI, the electronic medical data is shared between authorized stakeholders such as patients, doctors and medical team which enhances effective medical treatment collaboratively. The experimental system was incorporated with blockchain and IoT technologies to provide an enhanced secure and transparent healthcare facilities in rural areas.

With the growing maturity of cloud computing and the wider application range, deploying applications on cloud computing platform has become a common way in the Internet industry. The user privacy of cloud server has also become the focus of attention. It is difficult for application providers to fully control the data stored on the cloud server, which increases the possibility of user privacy disclosure. In this paper, we propose a dynamic Token-D model to distribute authentication token of client and cloud server, which uses a third-party server to store user information and generate dynamic tokens. The client and cloud server achieve dynamic tokens to manage login authentication and information interaction. As people age, the frequency and impact of falls among the elderly continue to escalate, presenting significant health and mobility risks. Efficient detection and immediate response are crucial in reducing the severity of injuries and potentially life-threatening complications associated with such falls. This research study introduces a real-time alert system for the elderly by utlilizing the cutting-edge capabilities of YOLO v8, the latest iteration in the You Only Look Once series of models known for its high speed and accuracy in object detection tasks. The system is designed to operate with inputs from a variety of sources, including direct video feeds, RTSP streams from existing CCTV infrastructure, static images, and data from wearable sensors. This multi-source approach ensures that the system is adaptable for use in a wide range of environments, from personal residences to care facilities, providing continuous monitoring with enhanced accuracy. Upon the detection of a fall, the system immediately activates an alert protocol via Amazon Web Services (AWS) Simple Notification Service (SNS), ensuring that caregivers or family members are promptly notified to respond swiftly to the incident. This data-driven approach not only enhances the accuracy and responsiveness of the system over time but also aids caregivers and healthcare providers in understanding fall patterns and potential risk factors associated with specific environments or individuals, effectively addressing the critical challenges in elderly fall prevention and care.

The project aims to develop intelligent natural language analysis tools. The aim of the project is to formalize the interpretative approach in the study of perception and understanding of language interfaces. The project implements an expert system of psychophonetic analysis in the field of onomastics. The system is designed for psychological diagnostics of anthroponyms in the Russian language. The project offers a research technique for the psychophonetic study of naming in natural language. The project discusses the formalization of psychophonetic functions of the mental lexicon. The subject of the analysis is the psychological structure of phonosemantic decoding of nouns.
