With the ever-increasing technology widgets and media, there is enough awareness of good and bad in the surroundings. Unemployment or abundant money is making people to indulge in crime. Throughout the world, crime prediction and prevention are the two major issues of all governments for the safety and security of their citizens. With machine learning and data mining techniques to predict unknown events, crime data analysis and prediction has attracted the attention of many researchers in recent times. There is still generalized, accurate and optimized requirement of crime data analysis and prediction models. This work proposes to address crime data analysis and prediction using visual analytics and machine learning algorithms on Kaggle crime dataset. The proposed models provide better insights on the crime zones and frequency of occurrences of certain crimes in a zone. We have compared Naïve Bayesian and Random Forest Machine Learning Models to predict the crime, and we have noticed that our models exhibited better accuracy. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In the proposed system, we intend to use machine learning and deep learning algorithms to predict which crops can be grown on a particular field given its soil type, environmental conditions like rainfall, humidity, temperature and so on. We also wish to design a disease prediction model as an additional feature which helps the farmers to identify if their crops are suffering from any diseases. This will help the farmers to ensure that their crops stay healthy throughout their period of growth. Also if the crops are suffering from a disease, we would be able to detect that and suggest what must be done to cure the disease and avoid it in future. This would require data analytics, data warehousing techniques to be employed to prepare a good and appropriate data set to train the selected model. smart grid based systems are part of modernized critical infrastructures that countries use to operate in various critical sectors ranging from electricity services, nuclear stations, transportation systems, hospital services, waste management, water services, etc. The modern smart grid based systems comprises of operational technology (OT) components and the information technology (IT) components and the convergence of both has introduced new security challenges for the operations of the systems in terms of its safety, reliability, efficiency and stability. The security perimeter is completely redrawn with the OT and IT convergence. The need of the hour is the new approaches towards the security that are innovative and will ensure the security of critical infrastructures. The traditional approach of perimeter-based security defense is obsolete with the convergence of OT and IT. The Zero Trust model for user access and identity is based on concept of "Never Trust but Always Verify" that enable organizations to secure the critical infrastructures by ensuring only trustworthy and validated components are allowed into the network. The perimeter-centric security architecture is replaced by Zero Trust model to ensure and enable security and access decisions for devices, identity and user context to be enforced dynamically. It also ensures that only authorized and authenticated users and devices can have access to the network, systems, applications and data. In this paper we are proposing Zero Trust User Access & Identity Security model that can be implemented in smart grid based SCADA systems. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In recent years, with the rapid development of market economy and global economy, the development of China’s power marketization process is accelerating, power marketing in the process of power marketization has undergone great changes. This article first to the layered management system related to the concept of narrative, then combining clustering analysis algorithm and layered management is introduced into the electric power marketing, and then on the basis of electricity marketing theory of marketization of electric power under the background of our country electric power marketing model, carried on the thorough analysis of the current situation of the layered management system theory as the guiding ideology, together with the present situation of the development of Chinese electric power marketing model to build the corresponding marketing mode of electric power. With the globalization development of educational informatization, information technologies such as Internet of Things, cloud computing and big data are constantly emerging. As the core and fundamental cornerstone of wisdom education, intelligent learning has come into people’s vision and received great attention from many foreign countries. However, the study of wisdom learning in China has just started. Based on this, this paper studies the further development of wisdom learning by combining the key technologies of virtual and real fusion and interactive operation. This paper firstly analyzes the research status of intelligent learning, discusses various interaction technologies, and proposes virtual and real interaction methods based on Kinect sensor instruction type and multi-channel type. These interaction methods can effectively control virtual objects and improve the stability, real-time and authenticity of the augmented reality interaction system. Then, this paper combined with the network learning platform to carry out an experiment on the scheme, the results show that the scheme effectively improves the learning efficiency of students in the network intelligent learning platform, the attendance rate increased by 11.27%. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
