Cloud computing empowers the prototypical of data service outsourcing. To defend data concealment, penetrating cloud data has to be encrypted before outsourced to the salable public cloud. Traditional searchable encryption techniques provision only Boolean search and are not yet plenty to meet the operative data utilization need that is inherently demanded by large number of users and enormous amount of data files in cloud. In this project, we delineate and elucidate the tricky of sheltered ranked keyword search over encrypted cloud data. Ranked search momentously enhances system usability by enabling search result relevance ranking in its place of sending undifferentiated results, and auxiliarywarrants the file retrieval precision. we explore the statistical measure methodology, i.e. relevance score, from information retrieval to physique a sheltered searchable index, and progress a one-to-many order-preserving mapping technique to appropriatelyshelter those penetrating score information. © 2017 IEEE.

Social networking sites are now entered into the mainstream media landscape and cover a broad demographic spectrum of Internet users. Users post real time messages about their opinions on different topics and current issues, complain and express sentiments for products they use in their daily life. Such users have produced extensive online user-generated content and attracted business firms to consider it as a valuable input for their business processes. But this rapid growth in data size has posted many challenges in accessing, managing, analyzing, and integrating the data in networking, management, computational, and statistical sciences. This paper proposes a framework for analyzing the online data produced by the social networking site, twitter. The proposed Jen-Ton framework collects, pre-processes and analyses the sentiment present in the tweets and prepares the aspect based sentiment analysis for a product. This framework uses three techniques namely, Imputation of Missing Sentiment (IMS), Aspect based Sentiment Analysis using Fuzzy Logic (ASFuL) and Aspect based SenTiment Analysis using Clustering with Genetic Algorithm (ASTA-CGA) for enhancing the accuracy of the aspect based sentiment analysis in big data. © 2017 IEEE.

This paper analyse the performance and design of high speed Train (HST) communications that use massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system. The users travelling in the train communicate with the Base Station by using antennas mounted on top of the train as gateways. Two antenna configuration are considered, one is co-located antennas (CA) at the center of the train, and the other is distributed antennas (DA) uniformly placed along the train. In the CA layout, the average ergodic uplink capacity is concave in the number of Tx antennas on the train, and the optimum antennas on the train is found by increasing the average uplink capacity. In the DA layout, the average ergodic capacity is bounded concave function, which are then used to find optimum value of the number of Tx antennas on the train. Both analytical and simulation results demonstrate that the CA layout has a higher average cell capacity while the DA layout has comparatively low capacity. In this paper downlink maximum achievable rate or capacity is also simulated and analysed with respect to number of base station antenna which shows that as we increase number of base station antenna, achievable rate from base station to user terminal is also increased.

With the advent of technological advances in the healthcare industry, predicting the labor-related complications becomes an important aspect in Gynecology and Obstetrics. It is a proactive way of preparing the patients mentally for facing any unforeseen situations which may arise due to these complications. The earlier the complications if any are detected;it is easier to prescribe the medication and the treatment to overcome the complications. Preterm Birth (PTB) is one such complication which needs a special attention and medication so that a possible PTB can be converted to a normal birth. Unfortunately, the clinical procedures like Ultrasound Scan and Swab test cannot reveal any major indicators of PTB and hence the number of spontaneous PTBs is increasing continuously. Between 1981 and 2008, PTB has increased from 9.4% to 12.3%. This is an increase of 36% in less than two decades. Hence there is a need to predict the PTB well in advance so that it helps the healthcare professionals to make decisions about the treatment. Subsequently, the expectant mother undergoes minimal or no complications of preterm labor. On the other hand, it also helps to avoid unnecessary hospitalization and treatment for women who are having a false labor pain. This study predicts the PTB by analyzing the historical data of patients who had either preterm or term birth. The results from this study show that PTB can be predicted with an accuracy of more than 98% using stacked generalization. The proposed approach helps the physicists in Gynecology and Obstetrics departments to accurately predict the PTB. Based on the prediction, the decision about the treatment to be rendered to the expectant mother to delay the birth is made on time. This, in turn, can reduce the mortality of babies due to preterm birth.

Mysore public city bus transport is using iintelligent transport system (ITS) to improve their operational efficiency and service to the commuters. Objective of this paper is to identify various parameters and propose methods to evaluate the performance of public transport before and after implementation of ITS by using quantitative data. ITS project has been implemented to Mysore City Transport Division (MCTD) in 2012 by Karnataka state road transport corporation (KSRTC). To measure the performance 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 are considered as non-ITS period and 2012-13, 2013-14 are considered as ITS period. In this paper we present a nonparametric comparative efficiency analysis of 3 depots of MCTD of KSRTC. The present study quantitatively evaluates the performance of 3 depots of MCTD using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), with respect to the physical and financial parameters of the depots. It is found that the original efficiency scores are upward biased in DEA. To remove upward bias in DEA results bootstrapping is applied to DEA. Bootstrapped-DEA model has been developed and has shown the discrimination between the efficient and inefficient decision making units (DMUs) by removing the upward bias, which was not observed in DEA alone. This kind of analysis benefits the MCTD to set the benchmark to run the corporation in a profitable way. It is observed that conclude from quantitative data analysis is difficult, so qualitative data has been collected. This paper also discusses in detail the user and operator perception study, to know the impact of ITS implementation on Mysore city bus transportation by collecting the combination of revealed preference survey and stated preference survey data. These surveys reveal that the Mysore ITS project requires attention from the KSRTC.

Automatic translation from or to sign language by recognizing patterns to produce a written text by using an annotated sign language corpus or any other tools of grammatical structure, syntactic rules, synthesis specifically for Arabic Sign Language. Arabic Sign Language still lack exhaustive scientific studies of their grammatical structure, morphology and syntactic rules, as well as the rules that govern the construction of sentences in this language. Such studies are necessary for the development and evolution of any sign language. In addition, the lack of tools that help researchers in studying Arabic Sign Language is another obstacle. In this paper we will show the importance of a system that would help to represent and translate Sign Language to a written text. In this context, we present a new proposal for the way towards the establishment of a system for the automated translation of the Arabic sign language into written text based on creation an annotated Arabic Sign Language corpus. This new proposed scheme can be useful for learning, teaching or studying for people who suffer from hearing difficulty. We also propose some rules which help developing Sign Language automatic translation systems.

Many villages in India use fossil fuel based water pumping system for irrigation due to a shortage of electricity. Fossil fuel causes great damage to the environment as they release harmful greenhouse gases. Conventional generation of electricity by thermal and nuclear power plants also harm the environment. In this research work, we propose a solar energy based automated water pumping system which can be used in many villages as an alternative to the fossil fuel based water pumping systems. As the system is automated, the water pumps are switched on only when the moisture content of the soil is below a critical level which is determined by the moisture sensors planted in the fields. An intelligent microcontroller based circuit board is the heart of the system. As part of this research work, we conducted a case study in a village called Siruvani near Coimbatore district in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India. Agriculture is the lifeline for most of the forty-four families that live in this village. Currently, they use diesel based water pumping system which is not only expensive but also harms the environment. The villagers' profit is greatly reduced as they spend a lot of money in buying diesel for naming the water pump system. The study conducted by us shows that the proposed solar based automated water pumping system if implemented would be a boon to these villagers in terms of cost and profit. In addition, this can save a lot of water and is environment-friendly. In this paper we would discuss the design and implementation of the automated solar water pumping system along with the case study carried in Siruvani village.

In recent years, the people affected with Parkinson's disease (PD) are increasing with the increase in the old age population worldwide. PD affects 2-3% of the population over the age of 65 years. As the diseases progresses it produces different abnormalities in the spinal cords and brain cells that direct affect the gait, speech, and memory. Some of the recent works pointed out that artificial intelligence technique has been successfully applied to assess the disease at different stage using the gait features as well as speech related features. So in this paper an attempt has been made to 'distinguish PD group from the healthy control group based on voice recordings with selected features and different classification techniques such as linear classifiers, nonlinear classifiers and Probabilistic classifiers. We have used recursive feature elimination algorithm (RFE) for selection of important features. We have implemented above mentioned classification technique and found an accuracy of 97.37% and sensitivity of 100% with linear classifier (SVM) compared with the other classifier. We have also compare the other performance metrics such as sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive by implementing the classification techniques. This analysis helps the medical practitioner to distinguish PD from healthy group by using voice recordings.

The main objective of this work is to design selective frequency reconflgurable antenna. The reconflgurable antenna is one of important aspect in cognitive radio systems along with sensing antennas. The frequency reconfigurable antenna is designed using microstrip patch antenna having reconfigurable filter. Overall dimension of antenna is 26 mm x 28 mm. Reconfigurable filter consist of PIN diodes as switches. In total four PIN diodes are used at two different places. One above the substrate and other three are incorporated with horizontal slot created in ground plane. By varying the slot length and electrical length of patch using different switching condition, different resonant frequencies achieved without changing the size of the antenna. FR4 epoxy substrate is used having relative permittivity of 4.4+0.088i and 1.6mm thickness. Here, in this proposed antenna twelve reconflgurable frequencies are attained using eight switching condition. The frequency bands of the antenna are varied from 2.76 GHz to 8 GHz. The antenna operates in both single band mode as well as multi band mode by changing the state of the PIN diode. For each case reflection coefficient should maintain less than-10 dB throughout the operating frequency. Antenna analysis is done using software HFSS.

Aquaculture is the farming of aquatic organism in natural or controlled marine or freshwater environments. The real-time monitoring of environmental parameters are very important for both shrimp aquaculture and paddy farming. Here, an electronic system is proposed for the efficient monitoring and effective control of different environmental parameters related to the paddy field and shrimp aquaculture. The proposed system is implemented as an embedded system to monitor and control the important environmental parameters with the help of sensors and actuators. A set of different types of sensors are placed in the cultivation field and each of them are connected to a common microcontroller board built on an Arduino UNO board. The micro-controller will monitor the sensor values and these real-time values are shared to a data logging system implemented on a Raspberry Pi based single board computer. The real-time sensor values can be logged into the SD card of the Raspberry Pi. The actuators such as pump and aerator will be turned on and off automatically by the Raspberry Pi in accordance with the threshold values of different environmental parameters. Moreover, the farmer is also given a facility to control the pumps and aerators through a latest trend in embedded system technology called the Internet of Things(IoT). The farmers can use a social media open-source Android app called Telegram for monitoring and controlling the system. Also, the real-time temperature and humidity values from the sensors are validated by using the information collected from a weather forecasting website. If any abnormality in the environmental parameters are observed, the system will notify the farmer by generating alert SMSs through a web-service application called Twilio. The installation of such a system in the paddy field will definitely help the farmers to increase the yield in a better environmental condition.
