Reversible logic has presented with great significance in the recent years because of its characteristics of reduction in power dissipation. Applications of reversible logic circuits lies in the area of Low power CMOS, quantum computing, nanotechnology, DNA computing etc. Wide range of researchers are currently works on sequential and combinational circuits with the help of reversible logic. Decoders are one of the most significant circuits which are used in combinational logic. Various approaches have been proposed for their design. In this article, we have proposed a design of 2:4 decoder. These proposed circuits will be implemented with the help of CMOS BSIM4 model. Proposed design will be efficient in terms of constant inputs, garbage outputs, quantum cost. The reversible logic based design will be implemented and simulated using tanner EDA tool. Performance analysis of the design will be done considering various parameters.

Cloud computing empowers the prototypical of data service outsourcing. To defend data concealment, penetrating cloud data has to be encrypted before outsourced to the salable public cloud. Traditional searchable encryption techniques provision only Boolean search and are not yet plenty to meet the operative data utilization need that is inherently demanded by large number of users and enormous amount of data files in cloud. In this project, we delineate and elucidate the tricky of sheltered ranked keyword search over encrypted cloud data. Ranked search momentously enhances system usability by enabling search result relevance ranking in its place of sending undifferentiated results, and auxiliarywarrants the file retrieval precision. we explore the statistical measure methodology, i.e. relevance score, from information retrieval to physique a sheltered searchable index, and progress a one-to-many order-preserving mapping technique to appropriatelyshelter those penetrating score information. © 2017 IEEE.

The voltage ripple is reduced by using conventional proportional integral (PI) controllers require additional filter, and also occurs tuning problem with these controllers. Due to the operating point changes in conventional PI controllers get a nonlinearity output. To overcome above problem, this paper presents Type-2 Neuro fuzzy system (T2NFS) to reduce the voltage ripple in the induction motor by using indirect vector control method. The T2NFS controller performance as compared with conventional proportional integral (PI) controller, voltage ripple reduced in the induction motor without any additional filter and tuning problem is eliminated. In this, the current reference values and original values of current are fed to the T2NFS based controllers and the controller is trained based on the obtained values. The performance of induction motor with indirect vector control method by using T2NFS controllers has been simulated at different operation regions and compared results with PI controllers. The results are experimentally verified with d-space 1104.

Automatic translation from or to sign language by recognizing patterns to produce a written text by using an annotated sign language corpus or any other tools of grammatical structure, syntactic rules, synthesis specifically for Arabic Sign Language. Arabic Sign Language still lack exhaustive scientific studies of their grammatical structure, morphology and syntactic rules, as well as the rules that govern the construction of sentences in this language. Such studies are necessary for the development and evolution of any sign language. In addition, the lack of tools that help researchers in studying Arabic Sign Language is another obstacle. In this paper we will show the importance of a system that would help to represent and translate Sign Language to a written text. In this context, we present a new proposal for the way towards the establishment of a system for the automated translation of the Arabic sign language into written text based on creation an annotated Arabic Sign Language corpus. This new proposed scheme can be useful for learning, teaching or studying for people who suffer from hearing difficulty. We also propose some rules which help developing Sign Language automatic translation systems.

This study postulates Visual Evoked Potential of Electroencephalogram (EEG) signal for home appliance control system to facilitate the integration and control of the household electrical appliances by the handicapped persons suffering from severe motor disabilities. Brain-computer interface (BCI) acts as a favorable communication interface between the mind and computer empowering neural signals to control peripheral devices. Non Invasive Mind Machine Interface based on the Steady State Visual Evoked Potential (SSVEP) control modality has been implemented and utilized in controlling the home appliances in an offline environment. SSVEP based EEG signal has been acquired from 10 subjects by placing the electrodes in the visual cortex region of human brain. The subject controls the desired appliance by focusing gaze on one of the four flickering LEDs on the SSVEP box having distinct frequencies of 10, 11, 12 and 13 Hz. The features of acquired EEG data have been determined using Minimum Energy. The classification of feature vector has been done by Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA). The intended control commands are sent to the Arduino for controlling the home appliances. The data from 10 subjects has been used to train the classifier model which has been used in the validation process. The overall accuracy of classifier model has been found to be 84.8% The data validation accuracy, using data of two subjects, has been indicated as 80.6% and 81.8% respectively.

Feature selection is a vital task in machine learning and data mining to reduce the dimensionality of the data and also improves the classification performance of an algorithm in terms of high precision, low computational cost, and low vulnerability. Various many technologies have been successfully applied in the previous experimental studies for tumor detection. The foremost challenging task of gene selection method is extracting informative genes contribution in the classification from the DNA microarray datasets with lesser computational load. In this paper, we propose the conglomeration of the Kendall Correlation (KC) and Filter based Feature Selection (FS) method for better classification and prediction. We demonstrate the extensive comparison of the effect of Kendall Correlation with FS methods, using Relief-F, Joint Mutual Information (JMI), and Mutual Information based feature selection (MIFS), Conditional mutual information maximization (CMIM), and Max-relevance & MM-Redundancy (mRMR). To measure the classification performance of four diverse supervised classifiers K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Support Vector Machines (SVM), Wye Bayes (NB), and Decision Tree (DT) have been used on small round blue cell tumors (SRBCT) dataset. The result demonstrates that Kendall Correlation in accumulation with mRMR performances better than other combinations.

Out of many sleep disorders exist, sleep apnea is the most serious disorder in detection and cure. This disorder occurs when breathing of the person is disrupted or delay during their sleep. The untreated people will stop breathing regularly during sleep, which means that the whole body and the brain will not get the sufficient oxygen. Pause in breathing can have a particular domain in frequency and event. One of the common types of the sleep apnea is Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), polysomnography (PSG) is used to examine the Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in sleep labs. The test of Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is too expensive and difficult as an expert is required to observe the patient overnight. So nowadays with the collaboration of bioengineers, new techniques are developed to classify and detect sleep apnea with higher accuracy. This paper mainly focuses on the computerized classification of OSA subject which is measured by very short length epochs of the electrocardiogram (ECG) data. Here we have implemented our model to classify sleep apnea recordings data with different classifiers like Naive Bayes, KNN, Random forest, support vector machines (SVM), C4.5, LVQ, Quadratic, and Bagging, but the best result is obtained from the SVM classifier with the highest accuracy of 94.32 A.

This paper analyse the performance and design of high speed Train (HST) communications that use massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system. The users travelling in the train communicate with the Base Station by using antennas mounted on top of the train as gateways. Two antenna configuration are considered, one is co-located antennas (CA) at the center of the train, and the other is distributed antennas (DA) uniformly placed along the train. In the CA layout, the average ergodic uplink capacity is concave in the number of Tx antennas on the train, and the optimum antennas on the train is found by increasing the average uplink capacity. In the DA layout, the average ergodic capacity is bounded concave function, which are then used to find optimum value of the number of Tx antennas on the train. Both analytical and simulation results demonstrate that the CA layout has a higher average cell capacity while the DA layout has comparatively low capacity. In this paper downlink maximum achievable rate or capacity is also simulated and analysed with respect to number of base station antenna which shows that as we increase number of base station antenna, achievable rate from base station to user terminal is also increased.

This paper aims to reduce the time taken to search for data within a hash table by making use of a tree structure. The two most popular methods for collision avoidance within a hash table Open Addressing and Separate Chaining each have their merits and demerits. Here we attempt to overcome the main demerits of each of these techniques which are Filling up of the hash table in Open Addressing and Poor searching time in Separate Chaining. A different approach to the problem has been proposed here which prevents the filling up of the hash table by using a Binary Search Tree instead of a table to store the hash values and adds new nodes to this tree only when a new hash value is generated while entering data. Also, in place of using linked list to store the data within a hash bucket, we use another Binary Search Tree to reduce the search time within each hash bucket. Using this approach, we attempt to reduce both the amount of space and time that will be used as there would be no empty buckets for any hash values and we do not have to worry about filling up the hash table as we will be chaining the data under each bucket. We also try to take care of the main drawback of Separate Chaining i.e longer search time within a hash bucket, by using a Binary Search Tree instead of a linked list, thus reducing the worst case search time from O(n) to O(log n).

Mysore public city bus transport is using iintelligent transport system (ITS) to improve their operational efficiency and service to the commuters. Objective of this paper is to identify various parameters and propose methods to evaluate the performance of public transport before and after implementation of ITS by using quantitative data. ITS project has been implemented to Mysore City Transport Division (MCTD) in 2012 by Karnataka state road transport corporation (KSRTC). To measure the performance 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12 are considered as non-ITS period and 2012-13, 2013-14 are considered as ITS period. In this paper we present a nonparametric comparative efficiency analysis of 3 depots of MCTD of KSRTC. The present study quantitatively evaluates the performance of 3 depots of MCTD using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), with respect to the physical and financial parameters of the depots. It is found that the original efficiency scores are upward biased in DEA. To remove upward bias in DEA results bootstrapping is applied to DEA. Bootstrapped-DEA model has been developed and has shown the discrimination between the efficient and inefficient decision making units (DMUs) by removing the upward bias, which was not observed in DEA alone. This kind of analysis benefits the MCTD to set the benchmark to run the corporation in a profitable way. It is observed that conclude from quantitative data analysis is difficult, so qualitative data has been collected. This paper also discusses in detail the user and operator perception study, to know the impact of ITS implementation on Mysore city bus transportation by collecting the combination of revealed preference survey and stated preference survey data. These surveys reveal that the Mysore ITS project requires attention from the KSRTC.
