Image encryption and decryption are important as there is a lot of information transfer in the digital world. An interesting topic of discussion could be the periodicity of the Arnold Cat Map (ACM) used for image encryption. Determining the exact or even approximate value of the period for the particular size of the image is much appreciated. In this paper, the periodicity of the ACM map is analysed to enhance the chaotic behaviour of the Arnold Cat Map so as to overcome the limitation of ACM algorithm owing to its periodicity. Also modified ACM-2D and ACM-3D maps are proposed for image encryption and its efficiency is proved by histogram and key sensitivity analysis.

This paper presents the design and analysis of a coplanar waveguide fed rectangular(CPW) slot antenna with split ring resonator(SRR) and closed ring. The overall dimension is 26 x 31 x1.6 mm(3). The antenna covers the frequency range of 3.28 GHz-4.15 GHz and 5.15 GHz - 5.58GHz with impedance bandwidth(<-10dB) of 1.17GHz and 0.43 GHz respectively. Good radiation performance is observed for both bands. The antenna is suitable for WIMAX and WLAN applications. Parametric study is explored for optimum performance.

In this paper, we present a detailed study on the performance of rectangular patch antenna along with Minkowski Island Fractal (MIF) monopole antenna structures. A modified MIF structure is considered here and compared with the conventional one. The monopole patch antenna structures are more compact, low profile, and are conformal. The behaviors of these antennas are studied, and it is found that the performance of modified fractal monopole antenna is superlative among all. This antenna can be used for many wireless applications. All the design and simulation process is performed using ANSYS HFSS software, and MATLAB is used for plotting of output data of all antenna performance parameters.

Data mining is the process of finding unknown relations from the databases. In Data mining, classification is the branch of learning which deals with the labeled instances. The existing classification algorithms are not efficient on imbalance datasets. In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm known as Over Sampling using Diversified Distribution (OSDD), to overcome the problem of class imbalance learning. The OSDD algorithm identifies the unique diversified distributions for efficient oversampling. The experimental results suggest that the proposed approach performs better than the compared approach in terms of AUC, precision, recall and f-measure.

Reading of such magnetic fields help in extremely accurate diagnosis of various ailments of the human brain. Magnetoencephalograms (MEGs) are far more accurate than the Electroencephalograms (EEGs) and are in most cases, more functional than functional Magnetic Resonance Images (fMRIs). In this paper, two novel designs are proposed for the optical AND and OR gate using two dimensional photonic crystal. In the input section, some defects are created to the rods for transmitting the light followed by ring resonator. In the output section, some defects are created to get the output. Ring resonator has coupling and scatter rods to get the desired output. The proposed AND gate has the contrast ratio of 8.47dB. The transmission power for the OR gate is 0.7. The optical AND and OR gate can operate at the bit rate of 1Tb/s and 0.33Tb/s respectively. It is expected that in future the designs can be used in photonic integrated circuits due to their small size and simplicity.

In this paper, a half-bridge series resonant converter based LED driver is proposed. ADC method is employed for regulating LED current. Here two LED loads are driven using two half-bridge converters. ZVS is achieved in the proposed converter using series LC resonance. Therefore switching losses are reduced which increases the converter efficiency. Ripple current is reduced using filter inductor thereby eliminating electrolytic capacitor. Thus lifespan of LED driver increases. Dimming is achieved in the proposed converter. Proposed converter also regulates LED current against input voltage variations. The detailed description, circuit analysis and simulation results of the proposed converter are presented.

Amount of text for a particular topic is increasing at an exponential rate each day, causing availability of bulk text data, some of which will be relevant to our search while some data may be irrelevant. In such case we need to summarize the text document, so as to understand the key elements of the document. A Hybrid Automatic Summarizer using soft computing techniques namely, Fuzzy logic system and deep neural system is proposed. The summary is based on extractive summarization technique. Restricted boltzman Machine (RBM) is used in the deep neural network and fuzzy rule base on the sentences for feature extraction using a sentence matrix. Evaluation of hybridized systems gave better summary as compared to the individual systems.
