The article describes the experience of applying distance digital educational technologies in the process of teaching the discipline "Foreign Language" at higher engineering educational institutions, highlighting both the positive possibilities of the digital format and certain limitations related to the organizational, pedagogical, material and technical conditions of its implementation, and the psychological difficulties of the teaching staff and students in switching to a distance learning format. The results are implemented on the example of bachelors' professional training at the Ukrainian engineering Pedagogics Academy (Kharkiv). The proposed model of organizing a distance learning course in a foreign language for future engineer-teachers allows to develop and implement a combined model of the foreign language educational process: traditional interaction of students and teachers in combination using online courses with synchronous learning in a distance format provided by digital didactics, create a system of control and monitoring of knowledge in all types of foreign language activities;to improve the quality and effectiveness of the distance learning format, as well as to develop the skills of independent work of future engineers-teachers within the distance course in the discipline "A Foreign Language".

This paper presents a comprehensive study on optimizing resource allocation in cloud computing environments using an ensemble of machine learning techniques and optimization algorithms. We developed a multifaceted approach, integrating Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks for forecasting resource demands, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for initial resource allocation, Q-learning for dynamic resource adjustment, and Linear Regression (LR) for predicting energy consumption. Our LSTM model demonstrated high accuracy in demand forecasting, with detailed performance metrics indicating its effectiveness in diverse scenarios. The PSO algorithm significantly enhanced the efficiency of resource distribution, evidenced by a reduction in the number of utilized units. Q-learning contributed to the system's adaptability, optimizing resource allocation based on changing demands in real-time. The LR model accurately predicted energy consumption, aligning closely with observed data and highlighting the potential for energy-efficient cloud management.
Gamification can be applied to grab the attention of people in wide range of environments. This work sheds light upon the prospects of its application in classroom to deliver the education related to computer programm...

This report describes my experience teaching a graduate-level quantum computing course at Northeastern University in the academic year 2022-23. The course takes a practical, software-driven approach to the course, teaching basic quantum concepts and algorithms through hands-on programming assignments and a software-focused final project. The course guides learners through all stages of the quantum software development process, from solving quantum computing problems and implementing solutions to debugging quantum programs, optimizing the code, and running the code on quantum hardware. This report offers instructors who want to adopt a similar practical approach to teaching quantum computing a comprehensive guide to getting started.
With the online teaching has become a new type of education, which is based on computer technology, communication, and is university English teaching and welcomed. At the some new media tools have gradually emerged in...

In computer science, cultural assumptions are embedded in programming languages and problem prompts. This paper investigates the impact of cultural assumptions on international computer science students in the US. By performing thematic analysis on semistructured interviews with 12 international graduate students at North Carolina State University, the authors found six main themes. Analyzing these themes provided insight into what barriers international students face and how they can be alleviated. By shedding light on this topic, the authors hope to inform computer science educators and researchers on the importance of creating inclusive and culturally relevant learning environments that accommodate the needs of diverse students.
