This review of literature critiques recent research (2019-2023) on quantum information science and technology (QIST) programs designed specifically for high school students. Since QIST research and applications are advancing rapidly with an accompanying global demand for QIST workforce development, it is important to understand how high school students may be introduced to QIST concepts and skills early in the academic pipeline. The review identifies best practices for QIST teaching and learning, how prerequisite mathematical skills are addressed, methodological approaches and limitations, as well as QIST practices in high school outreach programs that have not published empirical findings. Implications for practice and future empirical work are discussed.

In this research, we analyze the impact of the use of augmented reality (AR) during computer graphics course. First, modeling sessions were conducted using Unity and Vuforia, and linked to the course subjects. Then, a questionnaire was applied to measure the motivation to the course and its future applications, the importance of augmented reality in the course and in their professional education. As a result, 64% of students considered AR is extremely or very important in the practical part, 61% of students considered AR inclusion in the teaching-learning process was extremely or very important, 70% of students considered the use of Vuforia is extremely or very beneficial in their education, 66% of students are extremely or very motivated about the use of computer graphics in AR and 70% of students are extremely or very motivated to develop current applications using. That indicates AR inclusion was important to get student attention and motivation.

News framing plays a crucial role in shaping public opinion and understanding of events. Traditional news frame analysis relies heavily on manual annotation, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive. This paper proposes a novel deep learning-based method for automatic news frame identification (ANFI). By leveraging a pre-trained Transformer encoder and frame-specific semantic features, ANFI captures the latent semantic structures of news text. It then classifies the text into one of the seven commonly used generic frames: Fact, Conflict, Responsibility, Economic Consequences, Human Interest, Morality, and Leadership. Experimental results on the CNN/Daily Mail dataset demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method in identifying news frames automatically. The ANFI model achieves high accuracy and outperforms traditional machine learning baselines. This research provides a new perspective on the application of deep learning techniques in computational journalism and facilitates large-scale news frame analysis.

China's "Cybersecurity Law" mandates that critical information infrastructure must comply with the Multi-Level Protection Scheme (MLPS) 2.0, which requires a proactive security assurance system that is "trustworthy, controllable, and manageable." Traditional information security education often lacks practical training cases related to trustworthy computing and MLPS, and there is a scarcity of systematic defense practices integrated with security application scenarios. Based on the proactive trust mechanism, the Trustworthy computing Laboratory at Beijing University of Technology has proposed a new design for Trusted 3.0 cyber security competition problems. These designs provide practical training cases and competition topics related to MLPS, as well as lightweight simulation methods for complex application scenario attack and defense. The laboratory, leveraging its developed cloud virtual trusted root technology and general-purpose trusted base software, has built a cloud-based cybersecurity teaching platform based on the active immunization trust mechanism. This platform supports the Trusted 3.0 cybersecurity competition topics, enabling the simulation of use cases and attack-defense scenarios, fulfilling the training needs related to MLPS, and enhancing students' practical engineering skills.

Quantum theory is often regarded as challenging to learn and teach, with advanced mathematical prerequisites ranging from complex numbers and probability theory to matrix multiplication, vector space algebra and symbolic manipulation within the Hilbert space formalism. It is traditionally considered an advanced undergraduate or graduate-level subject. In this work, we challenge the conventional view by proposing "Quantum Picturalism" as a new approach to teaching the fundamental concepts of quantum theory and computation. We establish the foundations and methodology for an ongoing educational experiment to investigate the question "From what age can students learn quantum theory if taught using a diagrammatic approach?". We anticipate that the primary benefit of leveraging such a diagrammatic approach, which is conceptually intuitive yet mathematically rigorous, will be eliminating some of the most daunting barriers to teaching and learning this subject while enabling young learners to reason proficiently about high-level problems. We posit that transitioning from symbolic presentations to pictorial ones will increase the appeal of STEM education, attracting more diverse audience.

The implementation of technology in university education is essential for students to develop comprehensive learning in an environment that can become routine without constant motivation. This study seeks to find an objective approach that can serve as a guide to identify the best Artificial Intelligence educational tool for learning development. In this paper, extensive research was conducted using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Four AI educational tools were proposed and compared: learning platforms, virtual assistants, virtual reality, and Chat GPT. These technologies were evaluated based on key criteria such as flexibility, cohesion, adaptability, and transformation. The final selection was made with the active participation of four specialized experts. The results revealed that the best AI educational tool is Chat GPT.
