Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to herald a new dawn of instructional and operational excellence in the higher education domain, thereby reshaping the dimensions of teaching and learning and administrative efficiency. This paper explores great potential for AI in the customization of learning experiences to optimize each learner's engagement, hence better academic performance. It also investigates the potential for AI to help in streamlining most of the administrative processes, which would lead to less work pressure on the faculty and staff, thus freeing up additional time for them to focus on core educational objectives. Specifically, the paper addresses key ethical issues that AI brings with it in relation to data privacy, algorithmic bias, and digital divide, which are fundamental barriers to an equitable and fair use of these technologies. This would form part of a mixed-methods research design that would synthesize such qualitative perspectives from expert interviews with data gleaned from the most recent example of educational interventions around AI. This provides a broad picture of the effectiveness of AI and challenges that may lie at the level of higher education. The range of artificial intelligence applications from current to likely use reviews is adaptive learning systems, automated grading tools, and predictive analytics for student support services. © 2024 IEEE.

Music learning plays an important role in cultivating the aesthetic taste and developing creativity of young people. The current traditional music education is unable to provide rich and diverse learning resources, nor can it pay attention to individual differences among young people and achieve personalized teaching. This article conducted extensive research on the development of a music intelligent learning system by combining cloud computing and improved ant colony optimization (ACO). The goal was to improve the quality of music learning for teens and accomplish individualized music learning. This article built a system architecture with three levels: application layer, service layer, and data layer, after first analyzing the design requirements of a music intelligent learning system. Finally, by adding adjustable control parameters for state transition rules, ACO random optimization was achieved, and the cloud computing technology was combined to achieve personalized learning resource recommendation. This article tested the system performance and learning efficiency from two angles to confirm the efficacy of the music intelligent learning system. The results showed that compared to students who used traditional offline courses for music learning, the average score of students who used the music intelligent learning system in this article for music learning increased by 0.38 points. The conclusion indicated that a music intelligent learning system based on cloud computing and improved ACO could help achieve personalized music learning and improve the effectiveness of youth music learning. © 2024 IEEE.

This article discusses how to use information technology to reform the curriculum system, teaching content, and methods. Relying on the online open course of "Civil engineering Materials", it uses the BOPPPS teaching model + learning App auxiliary tool to scientifically design the flipped classroom to ensure the teaching effect of the online and offline mixed course. By utilizing the big data from the Xueyin Online learning platform and analyzing the learning data through Python programming, the results show that the flipped classroom mixed learning model has a positive effect on the overall learning performance of students. Feedback from data allows for timely understanding of student learning conditions and adjustment of student learning tasks, enhancing students' initiative and enthusiasm for learning. The reform of the assessment method ensures that the comprehensive evaluation results can scientifically and reasonably reflect the real learning situation of students, which has important theoretical value and practical significance for exploring the construction and application of new teaching models. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

This study investigates the integration of the metaverse and artificial intelligence (AI) avatars in social science education, amidst global challenges that necessitate holistic approaches for cultivating critical global citizenship. Despite the promising capabilities of virtual reality (VR) for immersive learning, the effectiveness of the metaverse and the role of AI in enhancing educational experiences remain underexplored. The central question addressed is the impact of immersive learning experiences in the metaverse, including AI avatars, on students' perceptions and intentions for using this technology for social science education. Findings reveal significant student engagement with immersive learning, aligning with experiential learning theories and suggesting potential for complex topic exploration. However, the influence ofAI avatars on learning experiences suggests that students found environments with AI avatars harder to use than those without. Given the limitations, such as the small and specific participant pool and brief engagement duration, further research is warranted to understand the long-term effects of immersive learning in the metaverse and the advanced integration of AI avatars across various educational disciplines.

Experimentation in physics and engineering is undeniably vital for improving the understanding of physical laws and engaging students in the scientific process. Following the guidelines established by the American Association of Physics Teachers, the objectives of introducing students to the physics laboratory include teaching them the art of experimentation, fostering analytical and experimental skills, developing conceptual knowledge, establishing the foundations of physics knowledge, and cultivating collaborative learning abilities. This study aims to demonstrate the implementation of a light laboratory designed for K-5 and K-6 students, as well as educators. Apart of the laboratory materials was presented to science teachers through a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). The findings from both laboratories are evaluated based on the comprehension of fundamental laws of light by teachers and students. The educators who participated in the course implemented the experiments in their classrooms and introduced their students to the culture of experimental physics. This research suggests that the educational process of designing an online course on the topic of light can offer original experimental and educational ideas to science teachers, which can be readily tested in classrooms and shared within the broader Physics and engineering Education community. Specifically, the objective of this study was to assess the feasibility of incorporating innovative learning approaches, such as hands-on experimental teaching using the learning-by-doing method, across essential curricular areas. The students who participated in the online lab gained a deep understanding of the concepts taught in light and optics and were able to successfully apply these concepts.

With the continuous development and maturity of internet technology, many traditional industries are gradually being influenced or even subverted by the internet. As a traditional humanities, literature teaching has also begun to try to complete the modernization transformation with the help of cloud computing technology. The remote literature teaching resource library model based on cloud computing was born for this purpose. This model utilizes cloud computing technology to centrally store literature teaching resources distributed in different locations in the cloud, achieving resource sharing and disclosure. At the same time, the advantages of cloud technology also allow students to access these resources anytime and anywhere through the network, without being limited by time and space. Teachers can also upload and manage courseware in the cloud, achieving real-time updates and maintenance of classroom information. The emergence of a cloud computing based remote literature teaching resource library model has provided new ideas and approaches for the modernization transformation of literature education. Quantum Machine learning (QML) has emerged as a promising intersection of quantum computing and classical machine learning, anticipated to drive breakthroughs in computational tasks. This paper discusses the question which security concerns and strengths are connected to QML by means of a systematic literature review. We categorize and review the security of QML models, their vulnerabilities inherent to quantum architectures, and the mitigation strategies proposed. The survey reveals that while QML possesses unique strengths, it also introduces novel attack vectors not seen in classical systems. We point out specific risks, such as cross-talk in superconducting systems and forced repeated shuttle operations in ion-trap systems, which threaten QML's reliability. However, approaches like adversarial training, quantum noise exploitation, and quantum differential privacy have shown potential in enhancing QML robustness. Our review discuss the need for continued and rigorous research to ensure the secure deployment of QML in real-world applications. This work serves as a foundational reference for researchers and practitioners aiming to navigate the security aspects of QML.

We present both design and a mixed method evaluation scheme of a semester-long course for scientific literature work. Focus of this contribution lies on the implementation for an e-learning environment with a clearly structured overview as key requirement, reflecting teaching concepts used, that is designed to reduce complexity of usage. teaching concepts are derived from Self-Determination Theory and are assumed to provide learning conditions to support an optimal motivation profile by focusing on autonomy support, involvement, and structure. Demand-driven student-teacher communication is possible through hybrid communication structures. Approaches to flexibility are reflected by students' own choice of research focus. Situated in 5th semester within a bachelor curriculum, Artificial Neural Networks are used as a thematical framework which easily can be adapted to other subjects. teaching analysis poll is conducted to obtain timely feedback by students to identify helping and hindering factors for learning, followed by a questionnaire reflecting the acquisition of competences.
